The bomber was an adapted SuB-4 Super Hurricaine, the largest bomber in the Confederate Military, and the only one capable of delivering the most powerful weapon in the world, the B844 Armageddon Three Stage Superheavy Thermonuclear Weapon.
The bombers name was "Spirit of Liberty" and was painted in the blast reflected white of the Strategic Air Command while she still flew with the registry number and emblem of 891 Sqn, Confederate Air Force Bomber Command. She was sitting over a pit that was specially shaped as to allow access to the bomb bay while still supporting all the landing gear sets of the colloosal bomber. It also provided a measure of security, noone outside the base knew what weapon(s) were being loaded onto the bomber through the covered access channel from the weapons storage hangar.
An hour and a half after the bomber had taxied to the loading station it moved back to its ready posistion on the flightline, where it was fueled while its crew took some sleep, a meal and recieved there final briefings. The greatest military weapons test in Confederate History since the detonation of its first atomic weapon all those years ago was about to begin. The would be a day that would be long remembered
