This is a psychological thriller set in an insane asylum. IT's not gonna be a run around and shoot 'em up kind of rp. (Think Silent Hill/ House on Haunted Hill) In a way. Archangel Asylum has been in operation since the 1930's. To the outside it's a safe place to put the socially disturbed where they are treated humanely. However, the demons of the past resurface and terrorize all who come in contact with the asylum. Those trapped in the asylum struggle to find a way out while unraveling a horrific secret that has been in the shadows since its' early days. What horrors await? Will any of them survive? The choice is yours.

This RP is coming from the rper once known as Kulikovo...That's right, I'm back!! (For all those who remember me).

You can be a patient, staff, visitor, security guard, doctor, or someone else. Post your characters and a little history about them.

History: Charlie awakes one day in Archangel Asylum with no memory of what happened prior to him being sent there. He worked at a construction firm and is married. He is accused of a gruesome murder and is labeled insane. The ghost of a woman haunts him and drives him over the edge. He tries to find a way to escape in order to solve why he was put there. But, supernatural forces are at work.

History: A former doctors of the asylum. After the death of his wife he had a break down and had to take a few days off from the asylum. After burying his wife he left with a friend to a remote cabin to relax. A week later he returned to the asylum as an inmate, declared insane. And and brutal murder repeating in his memory.

History: Jeff had a history of being shunned and abused, too uncool to fit in with the main crowd he slowly succumbed to the troubles of his mind and slowly he became closer and closer to his imaginary friend Jerry Taylor, according to Jeff Jerry is real and to him there is no evidence to suggest that he isn't.

More recently Jerry has been asserting his power over Jeff, ever since he was put in this asylum, Jerry is able to do things he couldn't before, almost as if he now has a physical manifestation, but according to Jeff he has always been able to do these things.

Kamasha, I intend to have my character be a new arrival to Archangel Asylum. It will take place during late fall and it will start out like any other day. I'm not going to reveal how it all begins yet but the asylum will be put on lockdown when the events occur. Anything can happen for the most part. You can use your imagination.

History: After becoming a high school drop out Michael went outside of the United States to see the world. While traveling he had a rerun in with some Soviet Troops. Escaping from Russia he went to Kazakh SSR. One day he woke up and found out that he had become border guard along the border with China. Michael accpeted his fate and learned the local languages while being in Kazakh SSR, while spending 10 years there. Once the Soviet Union fell he made his way back to United States. Soon after coming home he became depressed and a alcoholic. He became a petty thef and was put into jail after trying to rob a bank. After getting out he decided to a job, but no place would accept him because of his past history. Michael finally got a job as a security guard at a place called Archangel Asylum.

Name: Klaus Austrotten

Klaus was born in the German Democratic Republic (east germany) in 1970. He lived in East Berlin with his mother, who had been recently widowed when Klaus was born.

He grew up with soviet propoganda, and socialist influence. He himself had witnessed communist brutality and repression-and he sought to join in.

In 1988, Klaus applied as a border guard, too Poland. His application was denied, due too the easts poor economic shape. Re-applying as a State Police Officer, in the same year, he was accepted. He wprked in the GDR Police force for 2 years, until the re-unification in 1990. He was appoled at the abdication of his beloved goverment.

He remained in the police for a few months after, but eventually emigrated too Holland, and went too college, where he learned Dutch, History, and some english. He worked as a campus security guard, too pay his tuition. He was given several infractions, for unecessary brutality.

In 1999, Klaus emmigrated too the united states, too avoid trial back in Germany, for suspected corrupt activities in East Germany. He arrived in america, and for the past 7 years, he has worked for the FBI, as a german/dutch translator. He was expelled when his past was discovered. He then sought another secuirty position.

Being fluent in Dutch, German and, near fluent in english, Klaus applied at Archangel Asylum.

He is currently in an interview with the facilities administrator.

But when the city commisioner assigns him the task of finding a couple of missing teenagers last seen around Archangel Asylum, his bad luck may just be taking a turn....... for the worst.

she was snatched when she visited the country as a tourist at 18 years old and was a prisoner for a full year in an dark cellar.

Her captor was killed in a shootout with police and Alice was found chained to the wall half dressed and out of her mind.

She remembers very little of the ordeal but suffers from stockholm syndrome as a result.

It looks like she'll be here for a fair while while she gets the help she needs.

This leaves him at the Asylum for most, if not all, of the day and night.

I deeply apologize for not being on in a while. I am in the U.S. Navy now which means I'm quite busy and don't have much down time. All those who had characters posted, thanks for showing interest.

On April 27, 1986, an unidentified man in critical condition was recovered from the Chernobyl Nuclear Plant two days after the disaster occurred. He was missing large amounts of skin and a copious quantity of blood, and was found to be completely bald. Dressed in rags of some kind of uniform, though none used by Plant staff, his only possession was a fried British Passport. Very little of the document is legible, only his first name and other snippets.

After emergency treatment in Kiev, Alex was flown to London by helicopter for surgery on his collapsed lung. His situation soon stabilised after the operation, although he remained in a deep coma for many more years.

In November 1999 his brainwaves spiked suddenly, and doctors had barely arrived before he was awake. Still in a state of shock, Alex was forcibly restrained and recommended for psychological treatment. He could communicate to the doctors with a pack of picture-cards, as for some reason we was incapable of speech although a physical examination found him to be healthy. After an incident involving three security guards, a breathing tube and a syringe full of detergent, Alex was declared insane.

Committed to the Archangel Asylum in late 2004, Alex still hasn't said a word. However, a written IQ test put him in the top 2%, and other traits are beginning to surface. He imposes a strict physical regime on himself in terms of food and exercise, and prefers his own company to large crowds. His hair has still not grown back since the incident, and doctors presume this to be a result of intense radiation although no other adverse effects were found.
