South Tahini

The young Arabic Muslim man looked at the large structure they had completed begin to work its way deeper into the sand. The men around him, about a dozen looked tired and greasy and dirty as it had taken them a month at only 3 dollars a day to work on this large strucute. However they did not complain because they would receive a benefit of 3,000 dollars if this structure got oil. The Black gold of the Arab world.

The young Arabic man, covered his face with his scarf as a large duststorm picked up but then he began to feel the ground shake. Several of the men looked around as black liguid shot up from the strucutre. Oil had been found. The men were happy ansd tired shouts of glee rose up from the hard working men as claps on the back occured.

-----------

Ingush, Capital of South Tahini:

President Amir Rasini looked happy at the map as the foreigner, of Western descent explained to him that pipes 15, 11, 1, 6, 7, and 20 had struck oil in the Milar region of South Tahini, and if the other 15 lines came online, there could be around 200 million barrels of oil in that one small region alone, estimating around about 500 billion dollars in resources.

"Well, this would be able to pull the majority of South Tahinians out of poverty and build this capital city into one to be recognized, Rasini Said.

The man nodded and handed the President of South Tahini as contract stating that 15% of the profits would go to the company, and any foreign interests interested in the oil fields of the new country. Which President Rasini signed.

700 Griffincrest soldiers stood aboard C-130 transport planes as they passed over South Tahini.

"Alright men, you know the drill. We HALO into the oil fields, capture them, and wait for word from the higher ups. Lets do this!" the commander shouted over the wind and the engines. The rest of the men gave a "HOORAH!" in support, before one by one diving out the open hatch of the plane.

Methinks I should get involved in this one.

Maye try and keep this from looking like the CA sacking of Khornate tribes...

In te meantime, tagged, bagged, and under observation.

OOC: I haven't agreed to my resources being stolen. I think that is unfair and you can agree to share the oil or be a foreign nation that might want to set up their own oil fields with South Tahini resorces. But to invade my land is unfair. Especially at its small state.

IC:

We hope to see the arrival of your representative to negotiate the deal. And to the people of Instanico we believe that it is would be okay if the Omni-Consumer-Product government agrees.

Sadly, the de facto "new forum rules and etiquette" pretty much condones Blackhelm's behavior, whether you give him permission to invade or not is beside the point.

Feel free to cry foul though, both ICly and OOCly.
As there are a number of institutions willing to B-slap Mr. Griffencrest.

The 700 parachutes filled the sky as they glided gently down towards the oil fields. The men all quickly cut themselves free and grabbed their weapons. A defensive perimeter was set up almost immediatly as the C-130's turned around and dropped out supplies and 10 Mercury AFV's. Within the hour, the oil fields would be theirs.

On what grounds? Because he doesn't feel like losing? Should I ignore your forces in TWSP? I don't feel like losing men.

OOC: Like the nation of Lroon said. I am not interested in combat right now because I don't know how to post a fight. I am watching other threads right now and the quides and I don't want my first battle a slaughter.

So I will not abide by the posts of your nation and continue on with the thread as an oil agreement thread with other nations.

A nation/person can ignore someone if he/she wishes. It doesn't matter on Etiquette or not. It's a persons choice.

Dude, you could take over his nation with a butter knife ight now.
How good of an RP could tat be when you replace the butter with bullets?
Let his nation mature a little, then declare war on him.
You could also simply buy the whole country at les cost than mobolising your army.
A person like Griffencrest would understand this.

But if Griffencrest insist on only attacking new players, I believe that will soon be the only group he would be able to sucker into RPing with him.

A) It is bad form to just ignore an attack, even though you can.
B) He'd have no trouble getting allies to counter Blackhelm. If he went along with it this could have been a good rp.

Bad form or not, he can do it if he wishes.

It is also bad form to attack every new nation that pops up.

I guess you never saw what happened in Chitzeland and Khornate tribes.

Passing of the Monarch is also getting fairly sappy, though I guess it could be made into a decent war thread, except nobody wants a war.

Both are now using WMD on comparitively small landscapes.

If he doesn't ignore he has a 75% chance of getting glassed, and a 30% chance that the war will never end.
I pretty much pulled those percentages from nowhere...
Just how certain I am that the RP would be crap.

OOC: Don't worry, Blackhelm is negotiable. Besides the Griffencrest Corporation is invading, they are a second-class army in terms of NationStates and with 700 HALO troopers. Let them take some land, then offer him a share of the oil.

Even a field valued at 5-10 million barrels of oil will make him rich.

And Blackhelm, I recommend you take it or else this will go nuts.
