Well, I don't mind being involved in this, but I'd prefer to be semi-neutral and non-belligerent. I will be politically supportive of NSAF and will offer my military bases and land for NSAF forces to operate from - somewhat like the US before Pearl Harbour, except Lend-Lease is replaced by bases. But I won't be fighting (for now;) ) Actually, I might want to send an "Omzian Legion", but I don't know.

EDIT - I'm not sure if I'm cleared by all participants, but I've already gotten approvals from Velk, Silver, and GE. That, and considering my important geographic position relative to the location of the upcoming fighting in Haven.

Well I would like to see any conculsive evidence of this veto. A screen shot will do. And I didn't know that the NSAF had that power. But if they feel that threatened I dont see why they can get on and say it themselves. I dont need thier little watch dog to do that.

Because, the great majority of the people in this roleplay thread are of the opinion that your RPing skills are well below par, and that, in order for this war to go smoothly, all parties involved should be skilled writers, and that we feel your method of RPing is not compatible with our own.

Hey, guys, just wondering, was my asking to be declared "neutral" accepted or not? I was a member of the original RP, and have RP'ed with most of you one time or another (not to mention that I believe that my RP skills are up to par) so, um, well...

Thank you for the reason. And I am sorry that you feel that I would not be an asset to this RP. But the level of talent I use is dependant on who I am RPing with. Most people I RP with are normally one liners. And I have been trying to get better. I have gotten my act together and I have made a website to help better control my assets. It also hold information that most people feel is important. It not like I haven't tried. And for those who saw how bad I use to be can see that I have improved ( see first Genetic Center RP in sig). And if you say my RP skill is under par I can rasie it if I dont RP with people of higher skill. If I was able to join I would do my best to make every post I make worth reading. No less then 3 paragraghs long. Because I am trying to get better. But as I can see that I am unwanted I will not take up any more of your time here.

Hey, Generia and myself were attempting to come to a conclusion of getting me involved on his side some how, most likely from mutually benficial goals. I lost my ORBAT with my laptop, so I'll end up having to join this later on in the war (which works out well; I'll have fresh troops to smack against the weary infantrymen.) Let me know if this is accecptable (i.e. APOC).

Raven Corps, your RPing skills are fine. The fact is, the RP's pretty balanced at the moment, and people are afraid more involved nations will throw that balance off. Don't listen to any jackass who tells you otherwise. (No offense to the jackasses.)

In any case, I can tell you myself that when this was planned, I never thought Southeast Asia would have to be involved at all. This is news to me.

And if you decide to be involved, you'll need the approval of 5 NSAF and 4 APOC nations, (greater then 50% of participants on both side).

I'm working on my first/main post which will explain why I'm invading X nation where it's Y nation that pissed me off in the first place. And... um... it's not so much long, as continually getting lost, and I'm also working on the five first posts for Part III (the Czardaian Civil War), so ... yeah. Expect more stuff when I have less homework.

Alright, now that I see that I'm listed in the NSAF alliance, I'd like to apologize for my absence. How ever, I do have some reasonable excuses for this.

1) I was invited to the #NSAF channel on IRC two times in a row, and nothing happened. No one informed me of any plans, no one even talked. I didn't get anything beyond "You can be on our side." and "Do you mind getting attacked?"

2) As mentioned above, at the moment I have no IC reason to justify my entrance into the war.

Anyway, now that I'm here, I hope we can fix this so I can join this RP.

No, Praetonia told me that he was considering of inviting myself to a war role-play and that he and Questers said that nobody on IRC (note, I got the telegrams in the mid to latter half of August 2006) was willing to do it. I only said that I was considering it (but I was at the time I received the PMs, and still am, highly likely and willing to pull it off, even if it meant a two-versus-one conflict), but then again, the RL bug may intervene.

And feel free to vote in favor of my entry into the conflict as a neutral party or against it. And just for the record, I don't have IRC.

Can you add me to the APOC side? I'm allied with GE and am participating in The End of the Beginning.

Personality problems et cetera aside, all of them have quite competent militaries, especially in comparison to that of someone like, say, me. (Then again I purposefully have a rather small army anyway, but meh.) It's pretty balanced as it is. Maybe if we got Omz or someone massive like that on our side you could call it a dogpile. Otherwise, it looks pretty balanced even with ZMI, Mid, and Free (although I'm not sure what the extent of their involvement will be).

I will note that this is what is happening:

-Midlonia has started to mobalize forces to ensure it can smash whichever S.O.B that charges through its "area of influence"

This essentially encompasses the green areas in the Haven Map, on the far right....

See it? Thats aaaall classified as "Midlonian Waters" by Midlonia, even if not any others recognise it, you're dealing with a large, paranoid nation right on its doorstep, this reaction is very limited as its keeping an eye on its own borders primarily.

Only the 9th army group is handling the situation currently. A Midlonian Army is around 20,000 men all told, so, around 80,000 are actually active and taking up positions within its own territory.

Naval units are being activated just-in-case and to ensure its trade convoys continue to flow unhindered during this.

The build-up have been noted and an offer to the Aralonians for "assistance" has been made, this is not likely to come in much more than the form of a single expeditionary force. (maybe 30,000 men maximum. Its more likely to be a number much much smaller)


Midlonia is out-right-fecking-paranoid of the Nuclear Pulse Gun technology and is making sure its ready to counter-attack should things go horrifically south with such weapons in such a locality.

APOC is stamping on my toes and it (Midlonia) needs to assert itself as a defacto-local superpower. ZMI is its closest ally and not to have some of their forces involved would be nigh-on madness for all involved, especially considering most folks are going to be using technology given out by ZMI (the Khan Anti-shipping missiles and NPG concepts)

-ZMI is pretty much staring at you with its massive unblinking recon-based eyes.

-Free is probably in no current shape to post due to horrific 40 hour plane ride and will only be minor in this RP with all likelyhood.

Umm...excepting that Borman Empire and Inkana are also military competent nations and so that, account for the entire alliance.

Uhm, yeah...Czardas, you know I respect you (I hope), but come on. Borman is definitely a potent military force; CAD nations are like that sometimes. Same for Inkana. And yes, even me. I don't claim to be an uberpower, and God knows I've made my mistakes, but I've done militarily well for myself thus far.

Further I had no intention of actively persueing this war in an agressive stance, I was going for a defensive build up and protection of trade routes by a nuetral third party affair with the odd arms sale..because hell whats better than selling weapons to one side in a war when you can sell them to both.

I know I'm not part of the war, but I follow the discussions going on in the #draftroom and I'm allied to several parties on both sides, including Doomingsland. Honestly, Masspwnage, this is a roleplay. You roleplay to write and have fun, not to win. Personally, I think the only person who should be ignored in this entire thread is you, given your behaviour. The only reason you're ignoring them is because you're scared that you're going to lose. That said, who cares? It's a roleplay! Either that, or before you plan your grand invasions schemes and the like perhaps you should take the time to study the geopolitical factors that will ultimately factor into the roleplay.

By the way, James, New Cascadia replaced Gerfaanlich on the map. Gerfaanlich died when I was in Spain, and it sort of interrupts some cassus bellii of the War of Golden Succession, since it was originally next to Skinny, which is why he joined the war against the Empire of the Golden Throne. Is there any way you could put Gerfaanlich back on the map? Given that New Cascadia is there, and finders keepers, so to speak, can you put it on that blank spot that still touching that bay in the general area? Between Hallad, Scandinavian States and Edolia, that is. Gerfaanlich is in Haven, the region, on NationStates, by the way [just in case].

I agree with Jon, and frankly MP if you keep this kind of thing up I know I'm going to ignore you in turn. And several others have stated on IRC that they will as well. So I'd recommend reconsidering your ignore if you want to take part in this RP.

I'm a little stripped for time, ok, alot. So I won't be able to make too many posts unless I come into a good deal of free time. (And Seeing as one of my AP teachers placed me in the catagory of "People who have more work because it amuses me" for a simulation, I don't think I will) I will however stay in and contribute posts when I can.
