The Zukariaan Empire had yet to actually start exploring space, or doing much to it at all. They had satellites for war and communication, and that was all. On this day, they would begin a series of launches into space and begin to explore the solar system. Up first was their manned mission to the moon. They had yet to explore the Moon, even though many other nations had.

It was the morning when the launched started, and soon (OOC-not sure how long it takes to get to the Moon, but I'll assume that PMT can get there much faster than MT) reached the Moon. It was the closest object to Earth, and the easiest to reach. The crew landed on the Moon, ready to collect samples as needed. The Zukariaan people watched anxiously as the first Zukariaan to ever touch an offworld body did so.

"I wish the people of Zukariaa could see this.." he spoke,"It's beautiful.."

There main mission was to set an ideal place for a moonbase, which would be constructed at a later time. With that done, the next mission was to begin the construction of a very large space station, that would take very long.

The better idea? Zukariaa was offering others to add on to it. The first two modules were in place. Power and crew quarters.

The NSISS(NationStates International Space Station) had begun to be worked on.. Who would add on?

OOC-I plan to go further than the Moon for exploration. This isn't very well written since it is rushed and it is really only a summary of what has happened so far.. :|

The Holy Confederacy of New Aeson is willing, and eager, to build the next section, an astronomical observation section, consisting of several massive transmitter/reciever arrays and large telescopes.

After consideration, the Zukariaan Empire has announced that it is willing to accept Aeson as a contributor to the NSISS, and is free to add on as it sees fit.

They also announced that the first launch for the construction of the Moonbase would take place within several days.

OOC-I've been thinking about doing this for about a week, and the Zukariaans have been working on this stuff for many years.

The Errikan Empire would like to get involved in this project.

Jaredcohenia is willing to provide rockets to launch, the Multiple Ordnance All-weather Rocket is a rocket that has been tested to be able to sustain power for several million kilometers.

We are also willing, if you wish, for some Jaredcohenian scientists to be involved in the Moon Base, we will be more than happy to contribute some labs to test terraforming the area and more scientific things.

We also have a design for a spaceship that should be able to reach Mars, with people, if you wish to join us with that project.

Pluto is a planet. The IAU is moronic and means nothing. I definetly plan to do things with Pluto, and officially declare it a planet. :P

The High Commander would like to know just what the Errikans plan to add on to to this. As well, the Jaredcohenians are welcome to help with the NSISS, but the Moonbase is for the Zukariaan Empire alone. They hope to eventually build it to a colony.

OOC-This is MT-PMT, since I am PMT and the two usually go together. We have developed ships that can reach Mars, so that is not a problem.

It is confirmed that the first launch towards creating the moonbase has been completed at the same time as a surprise probe launch for Mars and Venus. The High Commander claims that this has been in preperation for nearly five years, and that it is finally going into action. He also criticized the NSIAU for it's decision to downgrade Pluto from planet status, and officially declared it to be a planet.

Alright, I added that.

Today the High Commander announced that the first installment for the moonbase had been completed and was no working on the moon. It will not be used until a further four installments are completed.

In other news, the Solar Explorer I was launched to move across the entire solar system and explore Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and possibly further bodies. This mission will take significantly longer than the others.

Zukariaa today launched it's final complete module or explorer. It was an installment for the moonbase, which is expected to be added on soon. There are several other modules under construction expected to be finished soon.

In addition to rockets, the Jaredcohenia Space Agency (Hereby called JCSA) will supply laboratories, crew quarters to accomodate 8 men, space toilets, and a docking port for vessels.

The contributions to the NSISS are very appreciated, as are the $3 billion dollars contributed by Northford. (said elsewhere)
