Swarming with guards, out comes his Royal highness Prince Alexander . Looking deathly pale, in contrast to his normal tan, he hasn't even stopped to look at the crowd of newspaper journalists crowding round him. Just straight through the door.

Her Royal Highness Maria, by the Grace of God, Grand Duchess of Toremal, Duchess of Nassau, Princess of Bourbon of Parma, Countess Palatine of the Rhine, Countess of Sayn, Königstein, Katzenelnbogen and Diez, Burgrave of Hammerstein, Lady of Mahlberg, Wiesbaden, Idstein, Merenberg, Limburg and Eppstein was murdered as she ate lunch. we can not reveal the traitor to the crown, as we also do not have an idea who it was. The nation will now go into mourning as befitted Her royal Highness' station. The period is nine weeks. But, tragically, we may have a greater crisis on our hands. The succession was never confirmed. The person who would, by law, have been the next Grna dduchess, Hereditary Grand Duchess Alexandra, has been exiled to The Eternal Necronytr of The Ctan, for being far too popular. Her popularity made people attempt coups (which HRH Alexandra did not support), agaisnst the Late Grand Duchess of Toremal. she is Hereditary Grna dduchess, but has expressed a will never to become Grand Duchess. The second candidate is HRH Prince Alexander of Toremal, but he is only 19 years of age. We have one other possible ruler. an unknown. Prince Constantine of San Maritia, who would have inherited the throne of SanMaritia and become King had the nation not fllen into the Abyss of History. He is th eneice of HRH Hereditary Grand duchess Alexandra from her marriage into his family - but her husband died of cancer just six months later. We have sent out a telegram, asking foreign rulers to consider, and tell us who theyt hink would make a suitable successor fro Toremal.
We are also unsure if the Ctan would forcibly marery someone to Alexandra and then claim the throne. Who knows?
