Controversial sound bite from Nellisland Presidential candidate, Nicholai Arterski has intriqued some citizens.

"If I were President of this nation I would make sure that mad men like the Parthians Shah did not exist. In fact, The Parthians would be first on my list."

The comments were made while, current Council of Forza member, Arterski was speaking to a small crowd inside Rom-Dinner, where he often has lunch.

When asked about his comments he responded:

"I said what I said."

The King was unable to reach, and all other members of the Council said that they had no comment.

A poll claims that forty-three percent of citizens would be in favor of attacking the Parthians.

Coleridge's comments come amidst similiar comments made by Presidential candiate Nicholai Arterski.

OOC: I don't have to succeed, if anything I can have this escalate by having a person set off a bomb near him, but he lives. Is he doing a speech? And how easy is it to obtain a Nellisland military uniform? Along with smuggling bombs into the country? Perhaps in a sack of potatoes?

Mafia agents were ready, a few entered the country as surveillence, while electronic monitoring continued. They had to find out when he was making a speech, and get a bomb in.

Press Release:

Presidential Candiate Nicholai Arterski will be giving a speech at Northwest Nellisland University tommorow at five o'clock p.m. concerning his rather controversial comments about the Parthains and its allies. It will be his last until election day.

A man wearing a Nellisland Military Uniform appeared, he was assigned to guard the Presidential Candidate from attack during his speech. He was intercepted, drugged, and finally thrown into a river tied to some cinderblocks. If he was lucky, he would drown long before he can wake.

A mafia agent, a stupid one, was given a breifcase, inside was the 500g of C4 explosive, various metal parts on the outside, and the remainder being jellied gasoline this device could destroy the entire building. The C12 wasn't ready in time for the bomb, so weaker C4 was used. He was given a Parthian Passport and a few more Parthian paraphenila and told to take the briefcase and put it by the side of the stage and stand by and act natural. Of course Mafia officials knew that he wouldn't return, he would be part of the act.

The day of the speech the agent, in his new uniform put the briefcase down by a speaker, farther from the stage then he was supposed to. He was wary of more guards and thinking the device was mearly a tape recorder, felt that near a speaker wouldn't diminish its power.

The agent took his position, holding his service weapon and trying to look like the other guards.

A window on the rooftop cracked open, a thin, non-reflective barrel poked out. From the stage, the blinding lights would make it very hard to see. A Mafia watcher was to finish the job in case it went wrong.

Five o' clock rolled around, and as soon as the speech would start the Mafia watcher would detonate the device and finish the job if he had to.

That was it, the mafia watcher pushed the button.

A radio transmitted within the breifcase felt a tingle, it was a good tingle, something that represented joy. It double checked with its systems to ensure it was just the right tingle. It was, and as it sent down the pulse that would destroy it, it felt a certain joy in accomplishing its job before it was obliterated in an explosion.

The C4 tore through the agent standing nearby, neatly misting his lower body and sending the top part through the wall to rest about 30 metres away, along with body parts of various other crowd members. His weapon flew into the air, easily bisecting a bird and it fell to the ground in front of a couple, who promptly screamed and ran. The blast initially seared the Parthian passport in his pocket, it nearly destroyed it, except for the front cover, and the rear pages which contained a stamp of entry from Nellisland immigration. A card for a Parthian resturant also survived, its edges burned and yellowed from the blast. An investigation would find this man would have particles of C4 on his hands from handling the briefcase.

The building groaned and smoke obsured the view of the watcher. The building rumbled and he felt his time was up. He snuck away, taking apart his rifle and stowing it in a briefcase. And he ran to his car parked nearby and drove off, back to port, to get out of there.

The building however, held, the C4 was placed incorrectly and the plan had failed. Dozens were dead or wounded, but Arterski wasn't dead, just injured; a piece of the ceiling had fallen and nicked his head, but he was good to go.

The watcher as he drove away noticing the building hadn't collapsed had a sick feeling in his stomach. He knew the boss would be reasonable, the plan only cost $10,000 US. He would have to try again. But now he was afraid, would he make a martyr out of this man?
