Makli: The Makli resembles felines, approximately thirty inches tall at the shoulder, and four feet long. The average weight is around sixty pounds. Though they resemble felines, they hunt in packs, and produce yipping noises similar to those of hyenas.

Colors of Makli range from black, to dark brown, to light gray, although there have been rare white specimens found. The Makli is a carnivore, preying upon anything and everything the pack can drag down.

Witchal: A witchal is a largish rodent, about thirty inches when on their hind legs, and three feet long when on all fours. Witchals are herbivores, feeding mainly on grass and low berries. They resemble large rabbits.

Witchal’s are eaten, without much effect on the population, as they breed quickly. Witchal’s also have extraordinarily soft and silky fur, for which they are valued as much as their meat.

The fur of the Witchal comes in black, white, all shades of grey and brown, and some golden. For years there were thought to be an extremely rare species of light blue Witchals, but this was recently proven to be a scheme of a group of greedy merchants.

Aom: An Aom is a large flightless bird. It averages at about eleven feet in height, and weighs about six hundred pounds. Though they are herbivorous, through sheer size, and a somewhat pointed beak, they can pose a threat to humans at close quarters, especially if cornered or protecting a nest.

Though most of the time they are a discreet brown, during their mating season (early autumn), the male of the species develops a bright red crest and underbelly, believed to be instrumental in attracting females.

The Aom flourishes best in temperate climates, and feeds off of a diet of leaves and shrubs. They are also renowned for especially tender and delicious meat.

Price: $900

Emperor Bird: An Emperor Bird is a large carnivorous flying bird. It has a wingspan of about ten feet, and weighs around thirty pounds. They have unusually long tails, believed to be for increased maneuverability. It feeds primarily on ground dwelling herbivores, such as the aom, or young cattle. There have also been reports of attacks on humans, but these are few and far between, and primarily occur in areas where there is not a sufficient amount of wildlife to sustain Emperor Birds. The Jackal Emperor is rumored to have trained a sizable amount of Emperor Birds to be used in battle, but no reliable evidence exists to support this. Most modern attempts at domesticating Emperor Birds have failed.

The Emperor Birds are very territorial, and will drive out, or die trying, any carnivorous bird of comparable size, including other Emperor Birds. Emperor Birds are a striking golden color.

Price: $5,000

Muthan: Muthan are another type of large flightless bird, closely related to the Aom. However, though smaller in stature (about eight feet tall, on average) the Muthan are stockier, at an average weight of six hundred and fifty pounds. They are herbivorous, and the other main difference from Aom is the lack of red feathers in mating season.

Due to their greater strength, the Muthan is often used to pull a variety of carts, plows, etc. As a result of the greater muscle mass, the meat is also less tender, and, by extension, less sought after.

Kithel: A kithel is a tree dwelling lizard, about one foot in length. There are two basic types of them, Grass Kithels, and Tree Kithels. As the name implies, the Grass Kithel lives on the ground, generally in areas with long grass. It lies in wait here for its prey, and will bite anything larger than itself that passes by. The Grass Kithel is highly poisonous, though not as much as the Tree Kithel. It has enough poison to kill a man in approximately five minutes, during which the man will grow dizzy, lightheaded, and probably pass out. A fairly simple antidote is available.

The Tree Kithel, on the other hand, dwells in trees, and kills its prey by dropping out of trees on top of them, biting them in the process. It possesses a rather more powerful poison. An average man will pass out within seconds, and die shortly thereafter.

The Grass Kithel is a light green to amber, while the Tree Kithel is dark green. Both possess fangs of about an inch.

Dead Man Newt: The Dead Man Newt is so called because of the extreme potency of the poison it carries. It evolved over thousands of years, in concert with the Dead Man snake. The newt itself is visually unremarkable, a light brown in color, and about an inch long.

However, one newt contains enough poison to kill at least ten men, as was tragically discovered when one dropped into the water supply of a zoology expedition.

Caution: Should be handled with gloves at all times

Unfortunately, at this point, we do not export such mundane animals, although the Muthan can serve the purpose of a draft horse for considerably less.
