I hate it when I do elections and no one posts or anything...especially support a Presidential candidate. You make ask anyone of them questions...please do that so I could create better personalities for them.

The Official Candidates for the Upcoming Presidential Elections

Amras Mithrandir - Long time member of the Democratic Republicans he was the previous member of the Council of Forza for New Jerusalem. He strongly believes in lowering the tax rate, establishing Nellisland as a real power in the world community, and repealing the smoking ban. He has often claimed that he would like to extend Nellisland's territory into the Republic of New Nellisland.

Gwendolyn Coleridge - A relatively new member of the political scene she was the first member of the Freedom Party. In fact she was its founder. Establishing herself by winning a position on the council, and making sure that she was involved in the writing of every bill, Gwen is considered a real force to be reckoned with. Her main platforms are maintaining the smoking ban, legalizing marijuana, and keeping Nellisland isolated from the rest of the world.

Nickolai Arterski - Famous throughout Nellisland as First Prior to King William I and King William II, he was appointed a position on the council by King Andrew. He runs without political affiliation, but has claimed that he has the King's backing. His main platforms are extending Nellisland's prominence in the world, including extending its territory. He is thoroughly against abortion, legalizing marijuana, and stem cell research.

A basic poll reveals that:
35% - Nickolai Arterski
29% - Amras Mithrandir
16% - Gwendolyn Coleridge
51% - remain undecided

Recent polls place Arterski in the lead, and Mithrandir in a close second. Coleridge has only recieved 2% and there are rumors she may drop out.

We require more information on the candidate's economic stances before we are prepared to issue a formal endoresment.

Amras Mithrandir - Prefers a large corperations stance on business. They overall do more good which is why taxes for the wealthy should be reduced. The wealthy have earned it and will give it back to the community anyway.

Gwendolyn Coleridge - Has dropped out of the race due to poor polling numbers.

Nickolai Arterski - Has strong backing from oil corperation but claims to favor small business. He says that they make up the real backbone of Nellisland and must be perserved by increasing taxes on the wealthy and creating a system of minimum wage laws based on a companies yearly profits.

It is our position that neither candidate's policies are in line with Ocion's staunch stanch on free markets and economic development and thusly we take no position in this election.

First of, we dislike the system, of a single individual achieving so much power. The king himself is not a legitimate party, but simply a former monarch of the nation, I take it. His individual nomination, is equal to that of a party/council of dozens, hundreds, thousands of members? Second off, none of them are appealing. The issues they all share is smoking, marijuanna and the countries foreign policy. As libertarians, we believe everyone has the right too smoke. But marijuana, is simply too dangerous. One intoxicated on the dangerous poison may act in a manner to breach the individual rights and freedoms of others. As for forieng policy, a candidate on a policy of annexation is disgusting. Nothing but a shallow imperialist. Isolation will ruin your economy in the long run. A sensible solution is too open up free trade with friendly nations, step into a strong alliance, and only act in a manner of self defense. Of course it is not up too us. We urge all Nellislandi citizens too stay away from the poles in the coming election. These candates are not simply the strong, decisive people, you need.

The President is only part of a vast network of a political system. The Kingship remains only to please traditionalist. Besides...you should ask them some questions and see what they really feel.
