Oil? Personally i think that if the "designer" behind the company actually had a bit of giudance thier stuff could be vastly imporved and i woudl hate for them to end up being another example of the piss poor efforts that are supposed to be II storefronts these days.
As for shares and big business i will freely admit i am not entirely up to speed with all details but don't companies on occasion spend well over the odds to aensure they get the assets they want.

Well our plan was to spend more than we made last year to make improvements in our facilities to makr them more efficient. But it turns out new machines break more than they work. So thats what go us here.
