The March of the Einherjar (Attn Mer De Ennuis)

A small high school, in a small town, in a relatively small country (OOC: No offense, but as NS goes...). It was about to become the sight of a not so small incident. The vans had been circling the area for several hours. About an hour after the last of the busses pulled away, they lines up in front of the school. But they did not unload young eager students.

White uniforms, gleaming in the morning light. Thor's Hammer emblazoned on the chest. And very deadly guns. Perhaps oddest of all was the golden glow of the eyes.

The fifty of them filed silently through the door. Two peeled off to the right to deal with the horrified looking nurse, and another ten were dispatched to deal with the token security resistance, while the others marched to the offices. Several men died in quick sucession, leaving only the secretary alive, who, at gunpoint, announced over the PA system that all students and staff should gather in the auditorium.

She was then dragged to the auditorium herself. The students and staff were shocked. Their shock only grew as five Einherjar secured the doors, and ten more appeared on stage. The man dragging the secretary brought her up to the stage, and easily lifted her off the ground by her throat, while drawing a long serrated blade.

Merely to prove we are serious. Any who try to run will die. He plunged the blade into the secretaries gut, and slit her stomach open, before simply tossing her out into the crowd, and firing a shot into the air.

OOC: Hey, a billion isn't exactly small! My GDP is bigger than yours! What kind of weapons are these fanatics using?

Ion Dorin, a security guard, was charged with the perilous task of monitoring the door by the kindergarten classrooms, as well as to occasionally help with the special education students. As usual, he was half asleep now that classes had started, and was sipping on a lukewarm cup of coffee, government issued m16a4 with a not-so-standard Issue Remington 870MCS shotgun hanging from the bottom. The kids generally stared in awe at the weapon, with Mer des Ennuis being the gun mecca that it was, though it was nothing particularly special. Dorin sat in his hallway chair, kicking back, when he heard screams. He sighed, stood up, and walked a slow pace to other special education room, where one of the children was throwing a fit, though a teacher’s aid was dealing with it.
“God, I’m getting to old for this shit” he thought, preparing himself for another boring day at work. A second later, rapid, automatic fire from one of the other guards rang throughout the building. He ducked into the small alcove by the nearest kindergarten classroom, and peered down the corridor, seeing a pair of men in bulky body armor with weapons he had never seen before.
“Shit.” He thought before quietly ducking into the classroom. He raised his hands to quiet the children, before putting his finger to his lips. He kneeled behind the teacher’s desk, giving himself a clear line of fire with the door, before he called over his radio.
“This is Dorin, I’ve heard shots fired, and made visual with armed men. I’m hold up. I suggest you all do the same.”
“Rodger”
“Rodger”
“Rod…” came through, followed by gunfire, forcing a gasp from the children, who had now moved toward the backwall.
“Shh, keep quiet children.” Reassured Dorin, before he hit a code into the com unit.
“112 Emergency Services, how can I help you?”
“This is Ion Dorin, I’m a security guard at Larch Peak High School, we have a situation.”
“Yes, sir?”
“I’ve heard shots fired in the hallways, and I’ve spotted a pair of armed and armored gunmen walking around the hallway, but I have good reason to believe that there are more.”
An announcement went over the PA:
“All staff and students are to report to the auditorium immediately.”
Dorin paused, went for the door. He made eye contact with the teacher across the hall, a Mrs. Landow, and shook his head negatively. She raised her eyebrow, and he made a “cut throat” sign. With a puzzled look on her face, she backed into the room.
“They are calling staff and students to the auditorium. I think we’ll have a hostage situation.”
“Say again, heavily armed men are taking hostages?”
“Yes ma’am, they are taking hostages.”
“Allright, I’ll have all 20 units respond immediately, and SWAT will be deployed. Just sit tight. I’m sure the HG will want to get involved as well.”
“Thank you.” He said, before hanging up. He heard shrill screams come from the auditorium, and a chill ran down his spine.

OOC: I said as NS goes. I'm also relatively small as NS goes, eh? They're using Kraven weaponry, until the True Aesonics develop some of their own.

1 x Kraven Battlesuit
1 x GPMG
1 x Corporate Carbine
1 x Corporate Sidearm
1 x 18" Bayonet
4 x Grenades (Flash bang, smoke, 2 frags)
5 lbs of C12

IC: Two of the Einherjar moved down the hall to where the screams had come from. One stopped with his back to the wall next to the door while the other, standing a little ways behind the first called out, "Attention, whoever is in there. Accompany us peacefully to the Auditorium, and you will not be harmed. Any resistance by any adult in this room will result in the death of everyone in that room."

Godless heathens. They will fall, as a sign to the rest.

OOC: To make my life easier in the future: map of school (http://www.colonial.net/cscweb/sbc/alcottsd.htm) .
I don't know too much about Kraven's corporate stuff anymore, but i'm guessing this means no ATGMs/manpads/etc. I know thats a fast response time for a SWAT team, but it is still mangeable. Considering the only screams came from the Special Education classroom...

Ion could hear the teacher in the special education room make a loud scream from across the hallway, and could faintly make out her ensuing explanation that there were some problem children in her class that could not be easily moved, and that they would try as soon as possible to move. Dorin could only pray that they wouldn't kill them right then and there. The door was not barricaded, but there was no time to do so, and he could only hope the room full of Kindergarteners would remain silent. And maybe pigs would fly.

Outside, the first unit to arrive was a standard cruiser, sirens and lights off. A pair of cops parked 35 yards from the school, and quickly took positions behind reinforced doors, aiming their Steyr Aug A3's at the main exposures.
"This is unit 1, we are in position, main entrance of the building. ETA?"
"Rodger that Unit 1, ETA on farthest unit is 5 minutes." came the response from the central dispatcher.
"What about SWAT?"
"SWAT will be on site in just over half an hour"
"Rodger"

OOC: Oh, I also forget to mention, several of them are carrying Molotov cocktails. I'm assuming the door is locked but how sturdy is it?

IC: A brief message crackled on all of the radios of the Einherjar. "Police officers have arrived on the scene."

"Relay the message."

A man with a megaphone crouched below an open window and shouted, "Any attempt to storm the building will result in all hostages being executed. This is nonnegotiable."

"Police officers have arrived on the scene."

The Einheri who had ordered the special ed children to leave looked through the door. "You summoned the police." He said, and kicked the door.

OOC: Door was shut, but not locked. The special education room is the one across the hall from where Ion Dorin is hiding, but meh.

Dorin heard the man out in the hallway kick open a door, followed by another scream of terror from that room, where one of the special education teachers was attempting to help move an immobile child. He looked behind him to reassure the children, and noticed a fire escape window, and two squadcars perilously out of reach. He pointed at the teacher, then at the window, and made the universal "be quiet" sign. She slowly crawled toward the window, hoping to push it open.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Outside, more cruisers had arrived, providing a light blockade of two cars for each of the 7 exits. 6 more cruisers were expected to arrive within another minute, and SWAT teams were gearing up across town. The Le Vide Home Guard was informed, but it would take time for them to be fully deploy on scene. Families of the children involved would be notified once the perimeter was fully secured. A preliminary negotiator would arrive on scene shortly after the building, at least from the outside, was secured.

Dorin saw the man in white armor come in, and in the process of breaching, looked unsteady on his feet. He fired his remmington, sending a torrent of buckshot at the interloper, which he followed with a three-round burst of 6.5mm ammunition... at nearly point-blank range into the side of the bulky soldier.

OOC: Okay then. IC post coming below.

IC: The Einheri picked up the special education teacher by the neck, repeating, "You summoned the police." With a swift blow to her face he broke her nose, and probably several other bones, before throwing her out the window towards the cop cars, and drawing his GPMG, moving to the door to prevent any thought the special education children might have about attempted to escape.

The other Einheri strode into the room, and also leveled his weapon at the children.

Across the hall, Ion could hear a sickening crack, and didn't want to imagine what they would do to a number of helpless Special Ed. children. Still, the teacher managed to get the window open rather quietly, and she slipped out. Keeping the children quiet was a struggle so far, but some started to crawl for the window. Ion had to focus on the door, finger on the shotgun's trigger, ready to fire if the door opened. One by one, the Children started to escape.
-=-=-=-=-=-
OOC: According to the plans, the 1st floor special ed rooms do not have windows, so i'll presume you threw her through a kindergarten room.
The last car of the 20 units arrived on scene, saw the woman go flying through the window of the Kintergarden room near the gymnasium. They pulled the squad car between her and the window, grill facing the window she had freshly broken. Both officers got out, and the passanger attempted to load the woman in the back of the vehicle. A pair of military police blackhawks lifted off from a Le Vide military base, and a pair of Predator 2 UCAVs were taking off to provide surveliance.

The 1st negotiator arrived, and got on a bullhorn.
"Unless you are stupid, you know that this is the police. We have the Building surrounded. We highly doubt you'll give us the pleasure of surrendering right away, so why not send a man out with your demands?"
He looked at the Detective next to him and muttered
"Get a camera ready. If one comes out, we may be able to pin this on a terrorist group, especially if they are as armored as that guy on the inside reported."

A man clad in the white armor stepped into the main doorway, his arm around the neck of a teenage boy.

"There are no negotiations. You will deliver five million USD, untraceable. You will deliver helicopters capable of carrying all of us. If you do this, no further hostages will be harmed. If these demands are not met with eight hours, a hostage will be killed. Every hour after that, another hostage will be killed. This is nonnegotiable."

"Money in the bank." said the detective under his breath as he snapped pictures of the man's armor, gold eyes and all.
The negotiator thought for a second, and lifted the bullhorn up again.
"How many of you are there? I'm not authorized myself to give you money or helicopters, you'll have to wait about half an hour for that, but any information you give me now will make the process much easier for us all."

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Inside the building, more than half the children had escaped out the window, and the police guards were ferrying them to a safe place. Another few minutes and all the children would be out and safe. He still crouched behind the pressed-steel desk, even more nervous that the psychopaths outside would burst through the door at any moment.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Across town, the first SWAT elements of more than one hundred were arming up. Their LAV-styled transports were idling, and various other pieces of heavy and specalized apparatus that would be needed to take the hostiles out. The SWAT negotiator would be the primary negotiator for this operation, regardless of the end.

"You'll need to deliver enough helicopters to carry one hundred people," replied the Einheri. "Who authorizes it is not relevant. As long as it is delivered before the deadline."

Meanwhile, in the auditorium, two of the Einherjar had left the stage and were placing dynamite throughout the room. In addition, several desks had been placed across hallways, creating cover for a number of Einherjar tasked with making any Swat team entering through any door pay for the isolence.

OOC: Okay, basically in all the main hallways on both floors. In addition, at this point we should probably wait for Kraven's news watching service to catch someone running around in what looks like CP outfits.

OOC: Hey, i'm keeping it quiet until SWAT arrives. My options are (as I see them):
1) Take the building by force,
2) Destroy the building with all the hostages in it
3) Starve you out
4) Give you helos, shoot you down as soon as you get off the ground.
5) Give you helos, execute your men when they get off.

I suppose that a Kravenite news source might get word from some sort of leak in the government, I'll let him role play an arriving news van/truck/helo.

OOC: Well, especially considering there's probably food in the cafeteria, at least four of those, and probably all of them would result in a large number of the hostages being killed. I guess the question is whether your government considers that acceptable losses.

Plus, is the news covering this? If so, they probably would have seen the Einheri, and Kraven could just have some intelligence guy with the job of flipping through news channels to see if there's anything interesting.

OOC: PROPHET and Trafficjam are basically systems that will both position any kind of transmission attempt and can selectivley jam those frequences. I'll let you RP the newsies. Have anyone in the mechanical room?

A near convoy of LAVs, heavy vans, a pair of heavy engineering vehicles, and a command vehicle. Inside the command vehicle was the cheif negotiator, Krzysztof Marek, and a captains from each of the 10 SWAT sections. SWAT was the face of law and order. If the Police, who were rarely challanged couldn't handle a situation, the hammer of God was called.

"Allright, gentlemen, I have been given orders: everyone in that building is expendable. For starters, I want a secure perimeter, get all of the street cops who aren't doing anything right now back, no closer than the farthest ballfield. We'll have alot of angry parents here, so I want a riot line to keep them back."

Ahead of him were three LCD screens, ready to display positions of friendy forces and reported locations of hostiles. A pair of men sequestered in a LAV were ready to update the maps at a moment's notice.

"Alright, lets make this a fast one. I want snipers to get a view of all exposures, at least five to a side. Team 1, I want water, landlines, and electricity cut off. Schematics show that thats in the closets of the Mechanical Room. UCAVS cannot penetrate down two floors, so presume its hostile. You know the drill: thermal camera and fiberoptics around corners and through doors. Team 2, send them a throw phone into the auditorium."

The two captains knew the drill well, saluted, and went to rally their teams. The captain strummed his fingers, before yelling a command at an assistant
"And get the PROPHET and Trafficjam systems up! I want this building sealed off! If they are talking to anyone, they are talking with me!"

"Sir, sir!" panted the origional negotiator, "They want enough helicopter transportation for 100 men, and 5 million USD."

"Thank you. Anything else?"

"Yes sir, we have a few high resolution photographs of their armor. Has some kind of logo on the chest piece."

Taking the photographs, Marek kept a stern look on his face. "Run em on all databases. Send a copy of this to the PR office, i'm sure they'll want to have a good news release."
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Meanwhile, the last of the children had escaped, leaving Ion Dorin alone in the room. Keeping low, he checked a desk, found some tape, a ruler, and a small magnetic mirror. He fastened it to the wooden stick. He slowly crept towards the door, listening for a noise...

Team b of element 2 made their way behind a heavy pair of riot shields to the main entrance nearest the auditorium. The team leader tossed a throwphone through the glass, shattering it. It began to ring.

Secret Police Headquarters "The Stahlkrieg" (Norska, Capitol City, Arterus)

The Kraven Secret Police were doing what they normally did, watching the world, Officers and Kreigsmarines watched televisions and other forms of media, radio operators listened into broadcasts while others poured over newspapers, mainly they were looking for reasons to either launch an invasion or for propaganda that would dent any nations outside The Kraven Curtain that could possibly try to say anything bad about the Kraven Corporation and its ideals…

An Officer happened to flip channels to the local news broadcasting of Mer Des Ennuis, immediately he spotted the white clad trooper that looked a lot like Kraven’s own Capitol Police, they were involved in some form of siege, but the Officer didn’t care, that was not his concern… he was more worried that someone had technology that belonged to Kraven…

“REICHMARSHAL!” He shouted, turning his head to look at the black uniform wearing man behind him…

“What is it?”

“Look at those, they look like Capitol Police… only white…”

The Reichmarshal was silent for a moment, before wheeling around and picking up the telephone…

“We have a Code 12... Understood…” he put the phone down and turned back towards the Officer…

“Dispatch two units of The Wolf Brigade… I want Squads One and Two airborne in fifteen minutes…”

“As you wish Reichmarshal…”

OOC: Escalation... TKC, I expect you are going to try to land forces without alerting my government?

The SWAT element team leader picked the phone back up and threw it at the armored man, rolling against the floor behind him.

"Listen you dumb shit, we need to talk to you on the phone to make sure that any actions go smoothly, since going over a goddamn megaphone is going to be a tad annoying."

Team 1, a full 10 men with 4 ballistics shields were ready for a breach; no men had been sighted on the other side.
"Clear!" yelled the leader as a small charge blew the lock and most of the doorjam apart. A pointman took a ram between two of the shields, knocking the door off its hindges. The team stormed in, weapons ready and found none of the armored men.
"IC this is Team 1, room secured."
"Cut power and water, the shutoff valves and breaker should be directly ahead of you. Secure the doors when you do, I don't want them retaking that unless I say so."
"Rodger, cutting water and power now."
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
"Incident Command, this is Sniper Team 4; i have a 13mm on the cooling unit for the food storage"
"Rodger that, is your rifle suppressed?"
"Yes sir, special production silencer, 5 rounds."
"You have a green light, fire."
5 quick shots of 13mm ammo silently punched holes in the refridgerator cooling unit, causing an almost immideate malfunction. The school was now without food, water, power, and clear ways to communicate with the outside world.

Le Vide: Homeguard Headquarters
The Major General leading the pair of Homeguard Divisions was displeased. Primary scans revealed that the armor closely matched that of the Kraven Corporation Capital Police, but was a mismatch on colorschemes, and the logo drew no known factional relations, but could possibly be representative of a pagan cult. High Command would not be happy about this. Three attack helicopter companies from the 1st division were being mustered at a nearby landing strip, and a number of transport companies were being mustered for lift operations in either direction. The 9th and 10th rifle companies of the 2nd division were in the process of being mobilized to fully secure a perimeter around the school.

One of the Einherjar in the hallway tilted his head to the side. "Explosives," he said, as the power went out.

"There has been a breach in the mechanical closets." He turned to the other five Einherjar with him. Two of them nodded and stood up, heading towards the area of the suspected breach.

Krzysztof heard the "order" over the phone.
"Power is a privledge. See, this is a give and take thing, you give us some hostages that are walking under their own power, we give you power. You kill hostages, then things are going to get real ugly. Lets start with 15, uninjured hostages, and then i'll see about giving you some power. Now, for starters, what faction do you represent, and, if and when you get these helicopters, where would you like to go?"

Outside, as the 1st and 3rd platoons of the 10th rifle company were arriving, thermal and sound sensors picked up the sound and sight of between 4 and 5 unidentified adults making their way across the hallway from the Auditorium to what was guessed to be the Mechanical closet. This was confirmed by 2 snipers who had visual contact.

"Team 1 this is Incident command, be advised, you have 5 hostiles heading for your location. Recommend you take immideate action."
The Lieutenant heading team 1 made a quick decision.
"Allright, element 1, head outside, keep cover by the wall. When the shooting starts, break through the custodial office and hit them from behind. Element 2 with me against the wall, we'll pick them off as soon as they come in."

5 seconds later, all 10 men were in place, ready to ambush the hostiles if they attempted to breach the room. A flashbang was set at eye level against the primary door into the room, ready to explode in the face of whoever threw it open. Element 2's leader dropped a smoke grenade and rolled anotherone across the room for additional cover.

Krzysztof's response came almost reflexivley
"As I have stated, power and water do not come free. Unless you want to call up LVPA and The LVWD (power authority/water district) and start paying like the rest of us, you'll have to deal with me. We would rather have you leave alive than dead, but that cannot be guaranteed if you kill hostages. We know you are fortifying the auditorium, but that cannot hold all 1500 staff and children. Before we can consider doing you the favor of peacefully giving you power back, you'll need to give us living hostages. We can tell from the daily scans that attendence was high, there are 1,563 students and faculty in there. This will be much easier for you and us if all 1,563 are still alive, though we doubt that. So, for starters, tell me what faction you represent and give us a few hostages. Maybe we'll even put you on the evening news."

Carpathia Ziemowit, the Arch Arsonist of Mer des Ennuis, was at his desk. Before him was the highest resolution picture of one of the terrorists. Next to that was a scan of the Kraven Capitol Police. The resemblance was eerie. He picked up his phone.
"Yes, sir?"
"Get me the someone from The Kraven Corporation, preferably a Reichmarshal."
"Yes, sir."

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

A pair of SuE-1 Scanner AWACS aircraft were patrolling across Bastion Bay to suppliment Homeguard naval manuvers. Like most military aircraft in Mer des Ennuis, it was unmanned. A number of small blips appeared on the radar, heading in towards the mouth of the bay. This information was relayed almost instantaneously to the maritime guard force below, where a D32 "Daring" class anti-air destroyer was also picking the blips up, which was confirmed by the region's large phased dopplar array.
"Sir, we've got contacts, true bearing 15*. Its weak, but holding steady. Air assets and land radar are confirming this for us. They are not following any known civilian or military path. They are flying real low, but too slow to be missiles."
"Allright, i'll push this forward to the 6th battlegroup."
The commanding officer broadcast the following message
"Attention unknown flight, identify yourself. You are entering restricted airspace. Repeat: Identify yourself."

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Shots could be heard clearly by the crowds that had gathered, despite being almost 700 meters away.
Krzysztof wasn't happy, hostages were being killed. Pointing at one of the officers, he ordered
"Forward this command, they represent some religious faction after "Ehzno." See if we have any members of this faction imprisioned, or if our allies have any. Did the chemical dispensers arrive yet?"
"Yes, sir, they did."
"Has contact been made in the mechnaical room?"
"No, sir."
"Allright, start pumping the gas into the ventillation system."

A pair of chemical dispensing trucks moved to the far side of the building. They would hookup a fast acting sedative into the ventilation ducts that supplied airconditioning to the school. The concentration would be kept low enough to only knock out the children, effectively making them dead weight. Since the attackers, even if they weren't wearing gasmasks, would only feel marginal effects, they would probably not realize that the building was being gassed until half of the children passed out.

Krzysztof again picked up the phone.
"Listen you stupid fuck, you don't kill hostages unless your section is facing an imminent breach, since that makes the people outside much less happy. Your lucky i'm in a giving mood; I have 8 blackhawks coming in for transport, and the money you asked for is being assembled in a briefcase. Delivery will take place here of the money. We expect them to arrive within an hour and a half, and I strongly advise you not to kill any more hostages."

Outside, a pair of combat engineering vehicles were being positioned along the north eastern wall of the school, where the assembled police snipers and military marksmen had the best possible view. With a word, they could literraly rip the brick and mortar wall down, creating a large gash that would deprive most of the Einherjar of cover. International channels were being opened up, and intelligence sources were searching for "Ehzno", "Einherjar", or the logo.

"Yes, sir."

The response from the lead craft was simply a short burst of static, followed by what could only be described as gutteral growls, short snarls and basicaly what sounded like, Orcish from lord of the rings, it was also known as Battle Language, the way the Capitol Police of Kraven communicated with one an other...

The Craft however continued on their course, keeping low and fast and maintaining their course...

DDG-21 of the 6th Maritime Guard Battlegroup, forwarded the information to Mer des Ennuis Central Command. Although it was unlikely, it was a potential threat to the Capital, and the airguard was notified. A wing of 20 unmanned F/A-18 F's were scrambled from Bastion d' Acier. They followed the headings fed to them by the ever increasing radar surveliance of Mer des Ennusian AWACS aircraft, ground-based radar arrays, and anti-air destroyers. Land based AD assets were being alerted. One by one, they hit their crusing speed of mach 1.5, their secured computerized AIs moving in intelligent fashion. When they got within range, an automated voice would send the following transmission:
"This is the Mer des Ennusian Airguard. You have violated Ennusian Airspace, and have entered an active patrol zone. Please adjust your heading to follow me to follow me to a secure airfield. You have thirty seconds to comply. If you do not comply, you will be fired upon."

The officer attempted to ignore the reporter, but the sound of gunfire made him speak.
"Listen, we've got a hostile situation here where a number our armed people have taken hostages. I don't know much more, I'm just here for crowd control. We have a public relations officer coming down in about 15 minutes if you don't mind waiting. Otherwise, no comment."

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Krzysztof called out on the throw phone.
"We know you have a number of men approaching the mechanical closets. I suggest they attempt not to breach it, as they will die. For everyone of my men killed, I can guarantee that our retalliation will be fivefold, if not more. So far none have died, and I hope you keep it this way. We expect the first helicopters to touch down in just under an hour, and we will have 5,000,000 equivlent cash ready for you on the helicopter. What can we do for you after you get the helicopters?"

15 miles away, the 1st and 2nd Le Vide Guard divisions were securing a landing zone. The 9 blackhawks required to transport 100 men were being fueled. 2 rifle batallions, totalling 1,200 soldiers, were on scene, with specialist squads armed primarily with heavy anti-material rifles, ready to make first contact, along with several SWAT elements should some of the targets take the smart way out and surrender. Circling behind them were regular rifle and heavy weapons squads, should any Einherjar attempt an escape. An attack helicopter batallion, composed of 24 SaAH-33A, would act as escorts for the 9 blackhawk transports. The entire time, a convoy of 15 vehicles would attempt to maintain grown surveliance. The Le Vide Airguard was on call.

IC: "Once the helicopters are delivered, we will depart. As for your men in the chemical closest, they still have nineteen minutes to depart."

The caltrops are pressure-sensitive nails that, upon being stepped on, will explode, driving titanium spikes into the feet of whoever happens to walk on them."

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
"We will be providing piloted helicopters, which will take you to a secure airfield. From there, we would like to give you some form of ground transport the short distance to an airfield, where we can have a large jet or plane ready to bring you out of the country. I have been given an exact time for you: 35 minutes." Krzysztof muted his voice on the phone, and gave a command into another microphone: "Gas em, have the element spring caltrops, and we'll scale back the power and cut the water from the outside."

The trucks set up against the ventillation system started pumping in a low-grade agent that would knock out the hostages, but not appear in concentrations to kill them... hopefully.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
A senior officer saw the news van, and, having limited authorization to talk to the press and, having overheard the question, answered. "I can take over from here ma'am. They claim to be a religious group for someone named "Ehnzo," and are somehow glorifying this Ehnzo by taking children hostage. Thats all I have been given."

The two craft split off, driving along the shore line now, in opposite directions, this would force the Mer Des Ennuis forces that were scrambled to deal with the threat to split their forces. However it was made aware to The High Command that Mer Des Ennuis was moving to intercept the elite force of The Wolf Brigade being sent to deal with these Capitol Police look-alikes, and in short, a message was sent in plain English to the Mer Des Ennuis government ensuring them that this was not a hostile action, but rather an action sent to aid the government themselves….

The two craft continued onwards, now breaking from the sea line and up the beach rising slightly higher to avoid buildings and other obstacles…

As you may be aware, a terrorist group is currently holding members of your nation hostage, these terrorists are using Capitol Police protect gear, it is our intention to eliminate these Terrorists and recover our stolen technology, we expect your full co-operation on this mission, as we are quite prepared to deploy two full battle fleets to recover our technology, consider this a friendly warning, your hostages will not be harmed, as the team sent into recover the technology is under orders to eliminate only the ‘Einherjar’ that are present in the school, if the craft are fired upon or our mission goal is prevented, will be seen as a direct declaration of war, and the Battlefleets deployed, again this is a friendly warning.

Helghan looked at the message, he was sure that they understood the situation and ordered the two battlefleets to stand down, although they would remain on High alert, they were no longer at a status of Defcon: Black...

The two craft returned to their origonal course, joining one another and heading towards the target zone, the hostage situation, already live feeds from satellite arrays above Mer Des Ennuis were giving the Command Relay ample time to plan their attack..

The Command Relay itself dispatched a message, the Capitol Police pilots were under strict Radio Silence orders, which ment to them, only communicate in battle language, a language only Capitol Police and Kraven military officers understood...

"Teams One and Two will proceed to the Hostage site, prepare an area for landing, One VTOL will land just outside the town, have transportation to the Hostage site waiting, the Second will circle the town until Team one is ready to assault the building... Please Advise..."

Krzysztof was sitting by the phone, waiting for the crazies inside to complain about hostages passing out. He drummed his fingers, and listened to the radio chatter from the transports.
"Epsilon team is inbound, ETA, half an hour."
He switched one of the microphones at the console infront of him.
"HGCom, do you copy?"
The reply came "Rodger, we read you."
"Whats the status of the LZ?"
He heard some papers ruffling. "The main perimeter is at 100% capacity on our end, I have reports that the SWAT teams are on site as well. The outside perimeters are at 70% capacity, and should be ready by the time the hostiles are inbound."
"Thank you, over."
Krystov went to look out at the building, when he got another call.
"Captain Krzysztof, are you there? Repeat, Capt..."
"This is Krzysztof."
"Captain, this is Le Vide Command, we have a transmission for you. The Kraven Corporation is coming to the scene, you are supposed to allow them in, by order of the Arch Arsonist. Transmission will be forwarded in 5 seconds. We will put you directly through to them."

The first VTOL touched down in the field, where the Mer Des Ennuis commander had said was suitable for landing, while the other VTOL flew overhead, the craft were standard Kraven Assault VTOLS, heavily armoured and armed for hostile drop zones.

The boarding ramp of the first VTOL dropped with a clang and the fifteen Wolf Brigade inside stormed down the ramp, their boots making heavy noises against the metal, the squad were already approaching the school, preparing a series of personal grenade launchers, these were white phosphorus grenades, and a series of stun grenades, it was aware that the Einherjar were using Kraven Protect gear, but it was a standard procedure for a Wolf Brigade insertion to do so…

The grenades were let loose in a salvo of fifteen, each placed perfectly through windows, and doorways…

As the squad continued to advance, C12 charges were readied, and at the same time, the Second VTOL now descended from the Clouds, coming to a stop a few feet from the roof of the school, where another fifteen Wolf Brigades men dropped from the craft on Black Ziplines, The Wolf Brigade were the elite of the Capitol Police, trained for such encounters as this and trained extensively in every form of Combat, experts in stealth, hand to hand, and expert marksmen…

"All teams, this is Krzysztof, we have a go! Fire at will. Take the wall down!"

The sole heavy engineering vehicle launched four serrated spikes at the brick wall. In a few seconds, the wall would be taken down.

Krzysztof threw his headset down in disgust and picked up an intercom.

The Wolf Brigade had entered the building, and now the Einherjar were practically worshiping the Wolf Brigade as they scanned the room, frightened children cowered in groups, now even more terrified that the True Capitol Police had arrived, they feared that they would never leave the school alive, while the Einherjar dictated the pace of things, they still stood a chance, but The Capitol Police could execute everyone of them without warning…

Back at the Command Base, the Reichmarshal overseeing the procedure watched with interest, the Einherjar were worshiping the Capitol Police, perhaps because of the power the armour had granted them, or for some far, far sinister reason…

“Order the Wolf Brigade to seal off the building, I want it secured and locked down, Send a message to The Mer Des Ennuis government to stand down all of their tactical forces…”

“Understood Reichmarshal..” The young officer quickly lept from his chair and sped down to the comms room, sending a clear message to the Mer Des Ennuis Government and the Commander overseeing the Operations to stand down…

Quickly the Wolf Brigade fanned themselves out, the ones who’d landed on the roof, now moved downstairs, taking up firing positions against the windows, doorways and anything that would have provided cover, the second VTOL continued to circle the school, while the first trained its 110mm smooth bore cannon on the Mer Des Ennuis troops, this was just a precautionary measure, with things suddenly changing so drastically, the Mer Des Ennuis forces may be a little trigger happy…

The Reichmarshal now stood, watching through the lenses of a Wolf Brigades man, one of the many consoles that lined the wall in front of him…

“Get a Trooper to ask the Einherjar who they are…”

One Trooper, ZSK 8821 turned to one of the Einherjar kneeling before him and asked in a mechanical, cold sounding voice…

“Who Are You?”

The Reichmarshal awaited for the response, while the rest of the Wolf Brigade ensured that everything was ready in case the SWAT Teams moved in, Tripwires attached to grenades protected stairwells, and the entrance that was made by the engineer vehicle was protected by a large pack of plastic explosives, also known as Kraven C12, a much more potent form of C4... Not only that but several of the Support members of the squad had set up heavy machine guns, while one wielding a Sardaukar Phase 4 assault Cannons patrolled the roof….

Things had suddenly got complicated…

Captain Krzysztof had just given the go order when another order came over the homeguard intercom.
"Krzysztof, this is HGCom, stand all men down, hold all positions."
Krzysztof didn't bother to confirm, before sending out a transmission over the tactical feed:
"All units, stand down. Red light on snipers."
The replies came quickly: all slightly annoyed "Rodgers."
"HGCom, tell me, what the hell is going on here?"
"Captain, this is becoming a military issue. We are sending in replacements for your men, but for now, your orders are to keep the perimeter secured, regardless of who it is attempting to leave or enter the situation, but do not fire without our confirmation. ETA: 10 minutes."

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Fourty miles away, at a heavily restricted base, most of it under ground, men and equipment were being scrambled. 5 RQ-9 Predator B's were launched, and would arrive on scene in minutes. Another 9 HV4 "Goshawk" transport helicopters were going through final checks, and their total 150 occupants had just finished gearing up. Another 18 SAH-33a "Svyatogor" attack helicopters had just gone airborne. Homeguard forces that had been mobilized to execute the Einherjar after their extraction were standing down; they would not be needed. Air support, called for in advance by these forces, would arrive onscene in the form of an SuE-1 Scanner AWACS aircraft, quad SuA-1 "Strikecat" CAS aircraft, and 10 SuF/A-6 Wraith Air-Superority Fighters. The specific nature of the forces that would replace the SWATs were unknown to all parties involved at this point in time.

The Wolf Brigade stood emotionless before the Einherjar, the white armoured troopers words were relayed to the Command centre where the Reichmarshal present became concerned, he’d heard of strange goings on in Norska, but he’d considered that it was nothing more than myths spread around by Thought Criminals trying to bring down the High Command…

“Order The Troopers to arrest the Einherjar and bring them back to Neo Cydonia for interrogation and questioning…”

“Understood Reichmarshal…”

“ZSK 8821, arrest the Einherjar and have them brought to Neo Cydonia…”

The radio was nothing but static, yet the Reichmarshal could still see what the Trooper was seeing…

“ZSK 8821, Please Respond…”

Nothing but static, The Reichmarshal looked closer to the screen…

“Hail another Trooper…”

“AAG 1112.. Please Respond…”

Again nothing but static, The Reichmarshal was becoming frustrated while the young officer was confused…

“Whats going on?” the young officer asked..

“I Don’t know, but I think its about to get ugly, very fast..”

The Wolf Brigade set about their plan, They all stood at attention with one arm raised in salute, and uttering the Immortal words of what was now The Capitol Police Rebellion…

“WE ARE THE SUPREME RACE, ALL ELSE IS INFERIOR…”

Then the sound of weaponry being cocked and loaded was brought to bear on the children, each one was executed by ZSK 8821, who opened up with his GPMG on fully automatic, cleaving their small frames apart and leaving nothing but blood splattered clothes, torn skin and the broken bones of innocence lost…

While at the same time those who had been waiting in position, let loose with a Hail of well placed gun fire, tracking the snipers across the streets with Heat Vision, and firing first, ensuring that the snipers Mer Des Ennuis had set up were silenced, preventing them from having free reign over The Wolf Brigade.

At the same time, the Troopers near the windows let loose a volley of white phosphorus grenades and smoke grenades, but at the same time, the Trooper wielding the high caliber assault cannon opened fire with a torrent of bullets, that tore through the ground, snaking their way towards the Swat team members of Mer Des Ennuis, while this was happening The Capitol Police continued to utter the words…

GPMG's are 7.62mm Explosive tipped rounds, with tungsten penetrator tips, similar in concept to the ASS (Anti Shipping shell)

(All Wolfbrigade are armed with GPMG's, apart from those firing at the snipers who are using Corporate Carbines, rated at .50caliber, also with Explosive tipped, Penetrator rounds)

The Assault Cannon is rated at 12.76x72mm's and fires at a velocity of 1,200fps, at a rate of 2,000 rounds per minutes, Not all Capitol Police are given Explosive rounds with Penetrator tips, but the Wolf Brigade do, due to the greater stopping power it provides.

The bullets started to fly, and the massive assault cannon started to rip apart the pavement near a group of SWAT elements. They didn’t need orders; they returned fire while running for cover behind the nearby LAVs. Some took hits from the various members of the capitol police; a few took legshots and limped behind LAVs. The armor given to SWAT members had never been tested in actual combat conditions, though they proved their efficacy; the 7.62 rounds induced the protective properties of the shear thickening fluid (STF) treatment of the primarily Kevlar armor, causing many of the bullets to yaw considerably by the 3rd layer, leading to comparatively fewer penetrations than would be expected. They were also marginally effective against the assault cannon’s larger rounds. In that a shot to the chest wouldn’t leave an exit wound.

Krzysztof had POV views from the various members on the monitors in the command center. Though small, he could clearly see the Capitol Police firing from within the school at the various team members. He hit the umbrella frequency for all SWAT members.

“All teams, fire at will, fire at will, down the bastards. Shoot to kill!”

He then hit another button.

“HGCom this is Incident Command; we are taking fire from the capitol police, I’ve ordered a return of fire. We have an indeterminate number of casualties.”
“IC this is HGCom, did they fire first?”
“Affirmative.”
“Allright, you’ll have air support. Fire at will.”

The wolf brigade had located some of the sniper positions, but failed to down most of them. Of the twenty snipers set up, four had clear shots on the CP with the assault cannon. Four 13mm bullets, with almost laser accuracy, flew a few milliseconds apart at the head and torso of the Capitol Police. Men on the ground returned fire from cover with 6.7x53 blended-metal rounds in three-round, semi-aimed volleys, while snipers took more accurate shots, hoping to pick off their various enemies, or at least injure a few enough to take prisoners.

A minute and a half into the firefight, a pair of SuF/A-6 Wraiths cut through the air just under the sound barrier, and let loose a swarm of missiles at the circling Kraven VTOL. In another 30 seconds, more would arrive, along with ground-attack SuA-1 Strikecats (basically, improved A-10 tank killers). The SWAT teams could hear the jets coming, along with the much quieter sound of helicopters in the distance.

The Assault cannon wielding trooper was brought down with precision fire, despite his armour offering some protection, it wasn’t enough against the high impact rounds that tore through his body, within a few seconds the stumbling Trooper staggered over the edge of the building and fell to the ground. The Troopers death grip held onto the trigger as the weapon fired wildly around twisting the Troopers corpse around on the concrete…

The Circling VTOL had already picked up the incoming craft and immediately dropped into a low level attack run, strafing the SWAT teams lines with its dual assault cannons, while at the same time the Assault VTOL that lay on the field, spun its 110mm Smooth bore Support cannon around to bare on the Swat Teams, a large muzzle flash appeared and the shell rocketed towards the lines, exploding in a ball of fire and sending dirt, concrete and shrapnel high into the air…

Inside the Troopers continued to fire, some being taken out by the weaponry being used, while others armours held out, taking careful aim, noting the Swat teams armour, and calculating weak points, aiming for joints in the armour, and more importantly, using their Optical Mags and the Smartlinks on their weapons to target the faces of the Swat Team Members…

The Capitol Police inside that were out of range, continued to butcher the children and staff of the school, murdering without thought, killing without care or emotions

OOC: Placeholder, will throw in an IC post later tonight. The armor I use is a "soft" armor, in that it is mostly kevlar treated with a Sheer thickining fluid; when it takes a shear force (or, in this case, a bullet), it hardens, and combined with the layer of padding used below the treated BDUs, it releaves a good amount of impact. You might break a bone (if lucky) or leave a bruise, but most rounds will fail to pierce. The one weakness is indeed the facepiece, and i'll post casualties when I do an IC post. I'm to presume my Wraiths missed?

OOC: Appologies, I missed that they'd fired.. Assume that the initial missiles were brought down by the ECM's of the Craft, next salvo will probably bring the craft down, they have excellent ECM's and ECCM's designed to make their survivability high during Insertions (Assault VTOLS being designed to deploy troops into extremely hostile situations, either deploying via Zip Wire or landing and supporting the Troops with the Support Cannon)

OOC: Sorry to repeat myself, especially if I just missed it, but what are the CP doing to the Einherjar?

Nothing, they are busy doing their psycho doctrine thing, your Einherjar are wearing CP armour and so are quite safe..

OOC: Really. That's... interesting. I'll have to keep that in mind. *puts spare suit of CP armor in closet for emergencies*

OOC: Are your explosives in the building hard wired (i.e. plunger detonator) or wireless?

The situation at the school ground was rapidly deteriorating. The SWAT perimeter, seemingly impenetrable at first, was losing integrity. The Kraven hits were accurate, but their rounds, aimed at the joints of the liquid armor BDUs, were largely nullified by the combined effectiveness of the shear thickening fluid treatment and heavy padding on the joints themselves. The Assault VTOL flying through the air managed to avoid the first salvo of precision missiles, and mortally wounded an element ducking behind the CEV. The landed VTOL took a shot at the CEV, damaging it, but not destroying it.

High in the sky, the squadron of Space Union SuA-1 “Strike Cats” flew in a tight diamond formation. If they had actual pilots, undoubtedly the words “turkey shoot” would have been thrown around. However, like most planes in the Airforce, these were semiautonomous planes. The four planes communicated with each other, making slight adjustments to trajectory and expected ballistics trajectory millions of times per second. When the ideal targeting requirements were met, the planes let loose with the fury of hell, sending thousands of 30mm rounds at the offending tank on the ground. The men left standing on the perimeter, hearing the high-powered planes arrive, fought harder, taking aimed shots at the Kravenites. Helicopters could be heard in the distance, and another volley of Brimstone Mk. 2 anti-tank missiles were launched at the circling VTOL.

Within twenty seconds, men poured from the HV4 Goshawks outside of the expected weapons range of the Kraven forces, now being beaten back from the windows by the combined efforts of the assault helicopters, SWAT teams, and strike-craft efforts, and ran for the site. Unlike the SWATs before them, these men carried heavy machineguns, squad automatic weapons, rifles, shotguns, anti-tank munitions, and limited anti-air munitions. Their matte-black BDUs were defaced by a small, silver skull, though one’s helmet depected a steel, scarred skull. The Deathshead had arrived.

OOC: Mine? Wireless, with each of the Einherjar carrying a detonator. But I assume you mean Kraven's.

OOC: Cool; as stated before EW assets are basically nullifying any real wireless communications (including common bomb detonation methods, such as cellphones and the like), so maybe you'll have your men all but shit a brick when they fail to blow the building to hell ;).

OOC: Which they won't do without orders from the CP. Or... um... commandments or something anyways. And the CP will probably just use their C-12...
