Establishing Relations, get an Embassy in Ri-an! (FT, Magitech, or both)

OOC: i don't rightly care how you get to Ri-an, just so long as you can get there, I'm happy.

IC:

In accordiance with the Department of Defence and the Department of homeworld security, The Ri-an Department of foreign Relations wishes to Formally invite one and all to echange Embassies with us.

Now, as much as we would like to let you have your way with making an Embassy, there must be a few rules that will be strictly enforced.

1) You will be given 1 Square Mile for Emabassy Grounds, no more, no less.

2) Your grounds will be considered as to be a territory of your nation, however, The Ri-an government still retains all rights to that parcel of land.

3) you may not dig any deeper than 30 feet. This allows for one, possibly two basements of generous heighth, unless your extordinarily tall, then we'll talk.

4) Your buildings may not be any higher than 60 feet,

5) You must retain on your grounds no more than 100 well armed and fully trained Guards. This is because you are responsible for the safety of your own land. The Ri-an Military strives to maintain a safe world, however there are still many menacing creatures, magickal and not, that can and will threaten the safety of your embassy on rare occasion.

6) You may have a diplomatic staff of no more than 50 personel, this is seperate from the armed guards.

7) While design and structure are entirely up to you, we suggest thick walls.

8) There are many authorities in Ri-an:

Aquamrinians: They have the lowest authority in government, and comprise 90% of it.

King Aqua: The only white Aquamrinian you will ever see. He has authority over all Ri-an.

The Sorcerers of Ri-an: An odd bunch, the control the entire Ri-an Government including King Aqua. Their friendlier than most, and may pop into your embassy from time to time, sometimes to say hi, sometimes on offical business, sometimes to find a lost student.

Deuce: A minor God of Chaos, he really doesn't exert his authority all that much. however he does know how to throw some awesome parties though. He wanders from place to place, enjoying life.

Lady Ri-an: She is the highest and absolute Authority over the entire Nation of Ri-an. She is the Spirit of the world upon whichyour embassies will sit. She is very kind, very lovely, and prone to visiting.

The Dark Priestess: She is a member of the Sorcerers of Ri-an, and has their authority. While she does occasionaly convey the words of Lady Ri-an, she bows to another.

Also, any and all sightings of The Ministry of Shadow should be reported immediatly, and 1,000,000,000 gold awaits whomever can take down The Ministry of Shadow.

9) Despite the part about the Guards, and the Ministry of Shadow, Ri-an is really quite safe, its just the occasional incidents that we wish to warn you of. That being said, there are many places where you can choose to get establish Embassy grounds:

The Besbian nesting grounds:

More than 500 square miles in size, on a broad flat plain, the Besbian nesting grounds are home to pretty little creatures known as Besbians. A besbian is a small bird, that comes in every shade and every color known. Their song is many and varied, and is always pleasant to the ear. They are friendly and rarely violent, even then, only to defend their young. They have been trained for the last 500 years to carry messages between cities. Hunting of Besbians is strictly forbidden.

The Volrack hunting Grounds:

A Volrack is hard to describe. Picture a Boulder crossbred with a Grizzly Bear.
Volracks are usually Slate Grey in color, and rather violent when provoked. Their skin is rather tough, and prized for its durability. They live in the Volcanic mountains of Grithleag on the Southren Continent.

The Capital City of Elru:

The Capital city is home to 3 million people, the Sorcerers of Ri-an, and the largest Hospital in Ri-an. For Security, the Government is Scattered.

The Grand Nelsavian forest: A 10,000 year old forest taking up the entire continent of Nelsavian in the Eastren oceans, this place is home to the same sort of creatures one finds on Sol.

And finally, The Underwater city of Shregrant, the Aquamrinian city in the Great expanse of the Whitewater Ocean:

A completly submerged city without any air in the rouch and dangerous waters of the White Ocean. The Aquamarinians are quite willing to assist with establishing air supplies to the embassies.

Finally, we regret to inform you, that the Sacred City of Shingali is Strictly forbidden to all non-Ri-an citizens. Trepassers will be dealt with on a case by case bases.

Meanwhile feel free to contact us with any questions you may or may not have.

A transmission from multiple points around the galaxy is sent to Ri-an, a calling card of Neo-Mekanta.

"Attention insignificant ones..."

The deep, grating voice of a Zircon, similar to the sound of rocks scraping together, issues over the audio-only message. Unlike most Zircon, this one is capable of communicating in Terraspeak-type languages fairly well. (Example: "Wgheeh" instead of "We") The greeting is fairly standard for the diplomaticly-challenged Neo-Mekantan Hegemony as a whole, who normally prefer threats of violence and displays of force over charm.

"I, Hivemaster Kaethxal, hear your invitation. Should you consent to the presence of a small Zircon Hive as an... EM-BAS-EH... I offer you an avenue of communication with the mighty Neo-Mekantan Hegemony. The hive shall not consume anything outside our EM-BAS-EH territory, and I shall be the only Zircon present. You shall have no worries of being overrun by my kind."

The voice seems to have an amused tone, reinforced by a sound similar to crushing stones that one can only assume is an attempt at laughter.

"If you are not worried about a super-weapon establishing an EM-BAH-SEH, we can discuss matters further at your world..."

"As long as your hive will not be disturbed by a highly magickal world, by all means, come on over."

Shortly after the response from Ri-an, a massive energy spike emerges in system a short distance from the planet. Space itself seems to scream as a Zircon Striker (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v384/MachinaKyrios/Third-Generation%20Renders/Zircon%20Evolution/Striker1.jpg) punches into Realspace. The warship (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v384/MachinaKyrios/Third-Generation%20Renders/Zircon%20Evolution/Striker2.jpg) hangs in orbit a moment before a transmission is sent.

In the signal is attached information on the capabilities of the Zircon, a signal of good will, at least by Neo-Mekantan reasoning. The file states quite clearly that the Zircon were created to infest and overrun worlds, and that they can consume anything they touch to create more Zircon. Included is data on the power of the Zircon Hivemaster.

The message itself is a simple question.

"Accept/Decline landing?"

The Zircon Striker did as it was told, maintaining a constant watch for betrayal...

(OOC: Sorry for the one liner, I'm just a bit stuck since I don't know where I'm landing. I was thinking of putting the invasion poi- I mean Embassy, in the Volrack Hunting Grounds. I figure if the Zircon tend to get into fights, it would be safest to keep them away from cities, large flamable areas, or pretty birds.)

OOC: If you do decide to invade, please remember, I am big time into Magick, and as such have a very large spellbook. Not that I have stuff that's pure science, its just that Magick outweighs the Science. Then there's some stuff that could be either or both. Just a point to consider.

IC: It landed close to a large city. Technicly, it was the capital of Ri-an, but then, the government was spread out all over the place, and parts of it was in Fluidic Space.

8 men and women in robes depicting diffrent elements waited for them, as well as 30 Aquamarinians, and about 50 Gareens.

"Welcome to the world of Ri-an." said a voice. no one had spoken.

The Worldspirit, Lady Ri-an herself rose out of the Ground. Everyone kneeled.

"Rise my children." She said to them.

she was beautiful. As for clothing, she wore none. Though a robe of Flowers did cover her body.

"You are the first to come establish an Embassy." Lady Ri-an said.

Everyone rose.

Oh, no worries about me invading. Just my twisted sense of humor. And even then, no issues with magick. My people will just assume it's similar to thier psychokinesis and shrug it off as just another type of advancement. But the Zircon is here peacefully. (Somehow, that sentance just doesn't seem to make sense...)

The ship remained a few hundred meters off the ground, to prevent the spines on its underside from digging into the ground. It hung there a moment before a small opening grew in it's underside, the gigantic Hive Master dropping to the ground with crushing force.

Four plates on Kaethxal's head opened to reveal its brightly glowing azure eye. It looked over the one wearing the flowers, sensing a powerful presence and made a nodding motion.

"I am Kaethxal, representative of the Goddess All-Consuming. It is... HOH-NAR?" He paused to regain his grasp on Terraspeak. "... It is AW-NOR to come here in peace. I greet you in name of Neo-Mekanta."

"It is an honor in return, to recieve a diplomat from such a legendary civilization. Come, let us not Dally out here on the plains. Thogh I have no doubt you could easily defend yourself from the creatures that roam these plains, I still have no wish to have you defend yourself from the hungry beasts that walk these plains.

Lady Ri-an closed her eyes, and a giant Metal platform appeared beneath them all, and hovered into the air.

"I Your ship may orbit the planet, or feel free to set it down, I can bear the burden." She said. The Platform hovered over the city.

" And now, a breif tour, showing you some spots on our planet we have set aside for an Embassy, All locations are near small cities for Supply purposes. This is Elru, The Largest City in all of Ri-an. It houses more than three Million people. The Area on the other side of The Coral Palace is The Embassy section, Five Square miles of Space." Lady Ri-an said. She paused for Questions, should Kaethxal have any.

The moment Lady Ri-an mentioned orbit, the Zircon ship started ascending. Kaethxal gestured to it, simply, amusement tinging its voice. "Most Zircon are not like I. Many Zircon have poor will. Unless our higher will bids it constantly to remain inert, lower minds like those of ships will feed on anything nearby. Orbit is safest."

When the metal plate rose, Kaethxal listened intently, examining the city closely. When Lady Ri-an paused, Kaethxal turned slightly.

"Is not problem when creatures normally odd to most are in city?"

"There may be some problems at first. All things fear something new. However there are other areas.

The Platform Zoomed off.

It plunged into The Great Whitewater Ocean, a Bubble of Air keeping them Dry.

They came down to an underwater city, completly Flooded. Aquamarinians swam about.

"This is the Underwater City of Shregrant. Its home to the Largest Aquamarinian Population. If you wish, down here, they will Air out a section for your Embassy Grounds. Being Highly intelligent and unusual Creatures, they don't mind new and unusual things, and indeed, may wish to study you, as you might, them. Nor do they mind keeping your Embassy full of Air. There are other places though, might I suggest Looking all of them over before settling on one?" Lady Ri-an said.

OOC: The Volrack Grounds are last.

Kaethxal nodded. "Yes, seeing all would be best, would it not?"

It looked over the underwater city, enjoying seeing a city it was not in charge of leveling. Such things were rare for a Zircon.

"To live underwater is no problem. We Zircon do not breathe, and our world of creation is flooded with its own blood. But to be studied is not something the Zircon are comfortable with... Few know how we function, for we leave no corpses when we perish. To be studied is something of a... dislike..."

"I understand. Aquamarinians are naturally Curious. Come, let me show you another Area." Lady Ri-an.

The Platform zoomed around the large world. It came to rest over an small continent.

"all manner of normal Earth Creatures roam here. This forest is over 10,000 years old, and the creatures have odd coloring. The entire area is known as The Grand Nelsavian forest." :adt Ri-an said.

Despite its higher reasoning compared to the lesser Zircon, Kaethxal's instinct to destroy flared upon seeing the forest. The Zircon were a weapon, just like the Goddess All-Consuming that made them, and the need to kill and destroy was programmed into them.

"... No... Not good at all..." He shook his head in imitation of the Humans.

It was also quite familiar with the fact that Zircon hive constructions tended to be very environmentally unsound. They weren't very concerned with keeping planets intact most of the time, and thier homeworld was just one big Zircon itself.

"Creatures and plants will die in construction. An old forest like this would suffer greatly to have a hive grow..."

The flew to the Besbian nesting grounds.

The Besbians, birds in appearance and nature, were singing. Their shrill high pitched voices rising to the sky. From where they were at, all could clearly hear them.

Shrill. High Pitched.

Kaethxal shrieked, the grinding sound resounding for miles. His eye turned toward the ground, the bright azure glow and building energy plainly noticable. His claws ground into the metal plate, his spines clicked against his body, and his psionics went wild generating telekinetic waves around him.

He regained control in time, raising his head and firing the Zircon Beam straight into the air, the column of destruction visible for miles. He set up a dampener for the high pitch, a deep rumble continuing from his body.

"... If our embassy is here, those birds will be extinct within the hour..."

"I, I'm sorry, I had no Idea. We will make sure not to place you here." Lady Ri-an said.

The Aquamarinians made silent note of what had happened, and a thought went through the Hive mind to make a formal apology to the ambassador later.

The Platform zoomed away from the birds.

It settled in the last spot. An area that was alive, but little life grew here except for the grass and sparse trees. Many small forms of wild life ran about. What looked like a Boulder got up and suddenly it was a bear like creature. It caught the small creature in its claws and ate it.

"The Volrack hunting Grounds. Little life lives here, except for the Volracks, and the small creatures that feed on the sparse vegetation. It is somewhat warmer, due to the live Volcano not even 30 miles away. Its dormant right now. The Volracks are that Boulder looking bear that caught that smaller Zickwick rabbit. The Volracks can be feirce, however, again, I'm sure you can defend yourself, and walls should easily keep them out. If you feel the need to get a little violent, feel free to take down a Volrack.

Slyphers occasionally visit as well. Feel free to kill any you see, provided they don't kill you first. A slypher, so you know of them for futur refrence, has Six legs, and a body like an ant. They stand 4 feet tall, and 3 feet long. They are quick, and can render themselves completly invisible. However while invisible they cannot attack. It does however make for a great sudden sneak attack. They have rather sharp claws, and are highly resistant to energy based attacks. They also have tough scales making Physical attacks practicly useless. their head is the weak point, but their mouths also have plenty of sharp fangs. My suggestion is to use a long pointy object, like a spear. Or Armor piercing Bullets, using the same caliber Elephant Guns use.

All in all, if Violence is in your nature, I might suggest this as the perfect Place. The Local Wild life can be pretty fierce, and its great for letting out Aggression on occasion. Although you do have the ability to restrain yourself, like you said, I'm sure even you would like to let it all out on occasion." Lady Ri-an said.

If the Zircon had mouths, the creature on the platform would have had a grin plastered on its face. It calmly walked to the edge of the platform nearest the Volrack, the twitching of its spines having stopped shortly before.

"... You are correct in your assumption that I can protect myself... In a recent rebellion in the Hegemony, I waded alone into a city that dared defy my Goddess. A tank's railgun was used against me. I laughed off a shot that reduced a large building to rubble previously. I tore the offender apart with my bare claws, and threw it's two halves against another. My Zircon Beam's energy form vaporized one of the behemoths. In its kinetic energy form, another eighty-five... ton?... Another large, heavy tank was thrown a mile down a road before smashing into a building..."

Energy began building in its eye, the sapphire light washing over the landscape. A steady hum built up, as Kaethxal began laughing again.

"... Save your warnings, Lady Ri-an... I am among the lieutenants of my Goddess. I am one of the strongest among the Zircon... Even so, this body means little to me. Even now, I exist in six places across this galaxy in bodies just like this one... I have no reason to fear any mortal being in this universe."

The blue glow died down, the energy disapating as Kaethxal turned.

"This spot shall be quite suitable. Shall I need to provide my own materials, or may I use the elements of your body?" The Zircon regarded Lady Ri-an, recalling the information that she was tied to the planet. He found it quite interesting, should such an exchange occur. The Zircon were created from thier Goddess's flesh, and all things Zircon retained thier tie to the superweapon Minagoroshi. To transform the flesh of this entity to the flesh of the Goddess... Kaethxal couldn't help but see symbolic significance in such an act...

"If you wish, you may use the Materials found here. I only gave warning because I do not wish to be blamed for getting sneak attacked by a Creature you hand no knowledge of." She said. The Platform landed on the ground.

One Square Mile was clearly marked off in Rocks.

"Do you Require aid of any kind?" Lady Ri-an asked.

Lady Ri-an did not know anything about what the Zirconian thought. But if she did, she too would see the importance of such an act.

Xaethxal shook its head, stepping off the platform. "I require no aid. We Zircon were created as the ultimate weapon. A single Zircon is capable of using other matter to generate more Zircon. In such a manner, we spread across planets with overwhelming force, consuming everything in our path. Such methods can be employed in more peaceful ways as well..."

It turned back to Lady Ri-an, nodding.

"I appologize if there are any side-effects to the process. Organics infected with Zircon cells often scream, though. However, they scream about everything..."

It spent some time piling rocks in the middle of the area, until a sizable pile sat in the middle about fourty feet high and a quarter-mile in diameter. The large creature then climbed on top and placed a claw on the pile, its eye going dark.

For a few moments, it seemed like nothing happened, until the rocks at the top could be seen becoming more like the flesh of the creature on top of them. The effect began picking up speed, until ten minutes later the pile of rocks was a pile of pulsating Zircon flesh, smaller than the rocks were due to its higher density. But the effect continued, spreading across the ground. The Hive Master was sure not to go below the measurement Terrans dubbed "twenty feet" to stay under Ri-an's guidelines.

An hour later, a dome-like structure stood fourty-five feet tall, covered in thick curved spines. Four massive spines sat at points an equal distance from each other, each set with three Zircon Eyes. The construction left a large ditch around the hive, with a single bridge at its enterance. On top of it, Kaethxal's eye blazed to life again, leaping from the dome and landing in front of the living stone.

The Neo-Mekantan embassy, the direct link to the Goddess All-Consuming on Ri-an, was open for business, ready to hear any concerns or resonable requests for information from the people of Ri-an...

Lady Ri-an did feel it. and she kneeled with pain. Then she used her powers and adapted. There was one side effect. Since the Zircon Hive was on her Planet body, it was a part of her therefore, she too could do things with it, but only to her Avatars. She smiled, and light twisted around her humanoid avatar body. When it faded, she wore a suit of Zircon Flesh Like it was Armor. Her eyes had a slight glow in them, similar to Xaethxal's eyes.

"This is the only side effect so far, Xaethxal." Lady Ri-an said.

The others were marveling at the Hive.

OOC: To attempt to Clarify, Lady Ri-an, as the spirit of the world, can add or remove Zircon Flesh and Hives to other areas of the planet if she wished, not that she wants to, but only because there is already one there, the one you just built. As such, to her human body, which is her Avatar that she uses to go among her people, she can add Zircon Flesh to it now, and either wear it as her actual Body, or wear it above her flesh as Armor. She can only do this to herself. There's one or two other bits of business to take care of though, ICly. A few introductions mainly.

There're two problems with creating Zircon flesh. First, without a kind of core organ, usually about the size of a basketball, Zircon flesh will lose all atomic bonds, and crumble. Second, is the tendancy to carry out its purpose. That hive has to be kept under constant supervision to keep from spreading or deciding to self-destruct with force equivalent to a fair-sized antimatter warhead, and not even Kaethxal has that kind of authority. That means that either the Higher Mind, the Zircon as a whole, has to dictate those terms to the hive constantly, or Minagoroshi, the superweapon "goddess" that created the Zircon and maintains control over them has to. Granted, magick can take care of that problem with the armor, but that opens up another thing. Lady Ri-an is at risk of having more direct contact made with the multitude of the Zircon Swarm, or the single overwhelming mental force of Minagoroshi. Just throwing an idea out there. Give a little OOC note if you want direct communication with the highest power of Neo-Mekanta. ^_^

Kaethxal regarded Ri-an a moment before nodding. "I will warn you... Never mistake the Zircon, and all that is tied to us, as being a weapon. Some created in such a manner will try to deny what they are. We do not. Misuse that side effect, and disaster may befall you and every creature upon your body." Careful analysis of his speech would cause some to mistake it as a thinly veiled threat, but the Hive Master's words were sincere. Without the guidence of his Goddess or the rest of the Zircon Swarm, renegade Zircon flesh could overrun this world.

... Not that he'd mind. It had taken every bit of his willpower to keep from unleashing his Zircon beam on the birds earlier...

His attention turned to the beings marveling at his hive, a soft laugh building inside him. "Be glad. You are among the few who have seen a hive grow under peaceful circumstances..." As if on cue, a low grumble issued from the hive, the nine Zircon Eyes glowing brighter for a moment. "... Lady Ri-an, the initial message had stated a Ministry of Shadows. Who are they?"

~snip~

"The Ministry of Shadow. Well, Just as there are rebels in your nation who dissent from Rule, there are those in my nation too, except, these were never a part of my nation. For the last five Thousand years we have Fought the Shadowlord, an undying spirit that lives in The Dark moon of Remora in orbit of this world. A few years ago, the last great battle was fought, and at his doom, Shadowlord Cried out to the Lord of The infinite Nothing beyond Reality. With his new found power the battle was more desperate than ever before, as Shadowlord was now a God. Then I joined the fight, and as was foretold, I destroyed him. His soul shattered into seven Fragtments, each fragment become its own soul, and created its own body. These seven entities are The Ministry of Shadow, and they desire nothing more than the absolute Downfall of My people and all things associated with me. They hold at their beck and call, the powers of Shadow, The Night itself, and The Great plane of Negative energy, The Shadow Plane. On occasion they come in the depths of the night, as shadows, and cause great destruction, and kidnap people to their cause, building an Army for what I percieve to be a War. We would take them down, but unfortunatly, We do not know their location, they hide it well. However among the people they say

White Slits at Night means Death before light. It refers to their White eyes, everything else, is as black as the voids in space known to many as Black Holes. They are very strong. If you see them, feel free to kill them." Lady Ri-an said.

Then a thought crossed her mind.

"Anyways, why don't I introduce you to some of the more notable figures that serve as government, this way, you know everybody, and they know you." she said.

OOC: No worries, I don't plan on using Zircon armor that much anyways.

This... Ministry of Shadow... It interested Kaethxal. This world had interesting things to sharpen his claws on. The threat of war was also of note, as it was a perfect chance to rope this small nation into aiding the Goddess All-Consuming's vision.

When the topic of being introduced to other officials came up, Kaethxal was cautious. His focus in this body had been shaken creating the hive, with his control over his hard-wired instincts to kill and destroy slightly shaken. If another incident like with the birds occured, this planet may have its first taste of a Zircon Hivemaster's wrath. This was not an occurance Kaethxal, the Zircon as a whole, nor Minagoroshi herself wished.

But such things were always a risk, and Lady Ri-an seemed to be able to be trusted to prevent such occurances after the near-disaster earlier. Kaethxal nodded his agreement, a low hiss eminating from his body. "Very well. I trust a thirty foot high behemoth with big sharp claws won't frighten them?" He chuckled.

"Well, The Aquamarinians have been here all along. and have a Hive-mind." Lady Ri-an said.

A Grey Aquamrinian and a Brightly colored Aquamarinian with strange exotic patterns levitated forward. An average Aquamarinian was 5 foot tall, and had eight tenticles like an octopus or a squid. Their eyes were The color of an Aquamarine, which was where the species derives their name. They had a shell underneath their skin, and had strong Psionic powers. All males looked exactly alike, and had the same uniform Grey skin. They even sounded alike. The Females all sounded diffrent, and had diffrent colored patterns on their skin.

"Greetings, I have no name I can give you in any known toungue that you can pronounce. Most refer to me Grey. Why, I am unsure. I head the department of foreign relations, and most basic interactions will be done through me, or my associate here, the lovely Gwen, though why she is called that, I am unsure of as well, those are not our real names, but they shall suffice for now." Grey said. inclining the top half of his body which also doubled as his head.

"One would be surprised the sounds one can make when vibrating the air telekinetically. Were I using my body's vocalization, I'd not be able to converse in this tongue. But if you would prefer keeping things simple..." He turned the large glowing blue orb down upon the two water-dwellers, amusement in his voice. "Greetings Grey. Greetings Gwen."

He resisted the urge to offer a claw in a mockery of Terran custom, both because such an act would be rude, and his claws were rather sharp to the touch. The size difference was also a factor, not wanting to smash a tentacle with a poorly calculated squeeze.

"I would warn you against surprise visits without at least ten minutes of warning to make things less hostile at the hive. Your kind does dislike cyanide, yes?"

"Cyanide makes us very sick. I believe a common term is, Sick as a dog. However, unlike Humans, it does not kill us. However you are completly correct, we disklike Cyanide." Gwen said. They leviatated away. Really it was easier than the alternatives.

If Kaethxal had ever heard Disco music, he would recognise it now. Disco Inferno. A man that Actualy glowed, without the aid of any lights, any magick, and clothes at least 30 years out of date, if not more, was dancing his way over. he spun in a circle and stopped facing Kaethxal Eye to eye.

"Yo." was all he said, and the music stopped.

"That would be Deuce, minor entity of Chaos. I know the urge to kill him will probably be great at times, and I understand this, on occasion I want to kill him. Please don't though, he is my son, and I do care for him greatly." Lady Ri-an said.

He went hazy, indistinct, and his featurse changed. He looked almost EXACTLY like Sean Connery's James bond. Except Deuce had Gold Eyes.

"I am pleased to make your aquaintence. Perhaps, we could get to know each other later." Deuce said. Then he spun down into a giant beach ball and bounced away laughing like an insane freak.

Once again, if Kaethxal had a mouth it would be plastered with a grin. "Quite to the contrary, Lady Ri-an. Unlike my brethren, I have grasped the individual concept of enjoyment, hence why I was chosen rather than Xaethrial. Your... son... seems an interesting individual." His tail had been twitching in beat with the music, and continued in spite of its absense for a few moments.

He regarded Lady Ri-an again with the Zircon Eye, emulating the organics' habit of looking at people when speaking to them.

"You said son, yet you seem not like organics. Is he the result of a union, or spawned similar to how I spawned that hive?"
Ri-an

"Although I am a spirit being, like organics, like my people, I can if I so choose, to have children. I willingly chose to have such a union with the dark and terrible entity Shadowlord, to save my children, because at the time I did not have the strength to fight him off, and if I did not give him a child, he would have destroyed this entire world." Lady Ri-an said.

Despite the social ineptitude of the Zircon as a whole, Kaethxal knew the term "Kohershon" (sic) quite well. His kind and thier Mekantan masters were quite familiar working from position the Shadowlord had taken.

"Deuce's alliegences are not called into question due to his father?" Kaethxal asked, his head tilting. Genuine curiosity fuelled his question, rather than any agenda. He was actually interested to study the thought processes of non-Zircon and non-Mekantan creatures from a non-warfare perspective, a rarity amongst the Zircon. However, what little he did know indicated this may be a train of thought of some discomfort, and remained ready to, as humans called it, change the subject.

"haha, no. I understand why people would ask though. No, he had a hand in his own fathers distruction. Two children did Shadowlord have. One by me, one by Marill, the Grand sorceress. Marill's child was stolen away as a baby, a raised entirely by the Shadowlord. He came to be known as the dread destructive being, "ID". He reappeared suddenly many years later, after he was stolen away, and destroyed the capitol City of Elru, the place I showed you, with naught but his bare fists, such was his strength and power. Thus he is also known as The Demon of Elru. Deuce pretended to be swayed by his half-brothers words. They went away, but when they arrived at the gates of Shadowlord's castle, Deuce turned upon his brother, and in a great fight, destroyed him. He returned, and has remained with us ever since. Just, becareful he is fond of Jokes." Lady Ri-an said. A white Aquamarinian levitated up from the back.

"It is okay, dear lady. You need not continue any further. " he said.

Lady Ri-an sank into the ground, and was gone.

"It has always been a sore subject for her. Me and my people came along later. I, I am King Aqua, leader of The Government portion of Ri-an. Though, I do not rule as a King, Its jjust my name. No one, not even other Aquamarinians can make the sounds necessary to speak it, and even though we all, as you, vibrate the air with out minds to speak, mine and mine alone can only be spoken truely in water." King Aqua said.

The Blubs of course, would arrive in a shuttle from Juno VII. The shuttle was painted a dark green and the only indentification was a lighter green painted sphere on the nose with the Blub Colony's flag represented there.

The shuttle eventually would arrive at the capital city of Elru, where the hatch went up and a few Blubs poked their eyestalks out, peering at the city curiously in their Blubby way.

several villagers looked at them in a curious manner, then went about their business. A woman in silken black dressing robes arose from the ground.

A giant ball landed in front of the blubs laughing hystericly.

Then it spun in place and revealed itself to be a person. It was of course, Deuce, having bounced over this way from the Neo-mekantan Hive. He was back in the pinstripe suit.

Welcome to the world of Ri-an. I am Deuce, minor God of Chaos, arts and entertainment, and love a good joke. I have a feeling we met elsewhere though. anyways, come, come. You have landed here in the capitol. Let me give you a tour of the city.
