Earlier today the Imperial military, working alongside local swat forces, have secured a number of large weapon caches filled with everything from assault rifles to plastic explosives early in the afternoon today. This was after the group in particular had begun to make itself more visible through a number of key thefts of important items from Imperial vaults this week, but sadly the name of the group is not known.

Yet, during the raid on the caches they arrested around eight individuals linked with the group that controlled the weapon caches, but they have yet to give any information on their backgrounds. But, we do know as a fact the group is a Scandinvan and Valgardian supremacist group that wished to drive out all people not members of the ethnic groups mentioned from our peaceful glorious Empire.

The story will be updated further on and now we will return to the main news broadcast. Good night everyone and remember. Loyalty to Emperor, land, and Lord.In reality the group was made up of powerful nobles and important persons that were politically powerful and the member seized were low ranking commoner members. As well, a number of warehouses belonging to the Griffincrest Corporation were also seized due to their link with the radical group.

"Ah hell naw he dint jus do dat. Das beef." the substitute aide announced as Claudius and him watched the news. Cornelius, the regular aide, was on vacation, and now this moron was taking his place for a week. Claudius looked at him. "We will retaliate. Call the martyrs"

Quickly, a number if martyr cells already in the Scandinvans were activated. The next day, and about 7:00 AM, just as people were beginning there commute to work, 12 bombs simultaneously went off around the capitol city. Six of the bombs shattered the Scandinvan subway system. Another three tore through commuter busses. The final three destroyed restaurants and cafes around the city square. Panic quickly engulfed the square. As people ran to flee the carnage, a nearby car, parked on a side street, exploded as a crowd rushed by it. Sirens erupted around the city, as emergency crews attempted to rescue any wounded people. Suddenly, another car sped from another street, slamming into an ambulance, and exploded. Today would be a dark day, forever burned into the minds of the Scandinvans.

The Emperor’s own secret police began a counter attack on all martyr cells in the Empire by seizing hundreds of individuals right off the street without any warning unto them. Then they were brought to secure facilities throughout the Empire where they were held by people loyal only to the Emperor and would never reveal what occurred in the camps and no one was ever let out of them. As well, the secret police began to launch raids on a number of cell strongholds. Yet, the secret police’s success was based on their intelligence they had built from covert operations.

In the city’s martial law was declared and twenty legions were moved into the city to implant the curfew and to seize control of the city and make it safe. Also, the hospitals were placed under heavy guard by the most loyal soldiers to the Emperor.

The martyrs would all prove a dead end. Even if the Imperial interrogators were able to crack them, they were being payed by a man who did not exist. According to all of them, their families were to be payed by an anti-immigrant lawyer named John Phelps. In reality, this man did not exist.

Realizing that most of the martyrs had been fed false info the secret police threw them into secret prisons built in mountains where they was no chance of escape. Also, they decided to freeze all the martyrs bank accounts and secure their families.

PS 102 was the next target for the terrorists. It was a public elementary school. At about 2:00, the day was almost over, and the children were getting anxious to go home. Two men walk in the front door. Another three go around the back, and wait by a back door, one of them carrying a suitcase. The first two immediatly head to the principals office. One withdraws a 9mm handgun with a silencer. The other takes out an Uzi. The principal is quickly shot by the man with the silencer, who proceeds to the intercom. "There is a problem outside, everyone, please proceed to the cafeteria. Thank you."

The man carrying the Uzi goes to the back door, and lets the others in. All of them are also carrying Uzis. The one with the suitcase pops it open, to reveal an RPG launcher, and 2 rockets.

A police unit nearby upon hearing the principal had stated there was a problem in the school from a call by one of the teachers decided to investigate.(OOC: During martial law all problems in public facilities have a designated individual who seconds any incident with further detail to the authorities as a kind of fail safe.) Two police reported to the command station they were going into the school to figure out what was going on. Then the two went to the front door and rang the bell requesting permission to enter the building.

The terrorists responded to the police with a hail of fire through the doors of the school. The entire school was now in the cafeteria. One of the terrorists jumped onto a table. "Your school has been taken over by the martyrs of Scandinvia. Remain calm"

The police managed to communicate a message which would mean the police and military would arrive in less than two minutes. For the time they took cover. One of the teachers in the cafeteria said,” By whose authority do you claim the right to fight for us when we love our Emperor and to turn against is betrayal in our eyes.”

"DO NOT ASK QUESTIONS!!" the terrorist screamed. He then fired at the teacher, hitting him in the head. Chaos quickly ensued, but was quelled when one of the men fired into the ceiling. "SHUT UP, ALL OF YOU"

After a few minutes the place was swarming with Imperial Soldiers that formed a solid perimeter around the building. Then as they had done a negotiator went to the door of the building unarmed and went to the front door and asked,” Please, state what you want in return for the students and staff being held in the cafeteria.”

While the negotiator was at the front door most of the group of people from the school either sat down on the floor or took a seat at one of the tables in the overcrowded room with their heads down.

"Release all martyrs and the eight men captured in your raids and we will release the hostages. We will execute a hostage every 20 minutes you hesitate"

The negotiator replied,” We will release the eight men captured in the raids and a number of lower risk martyrs if you and they vow never to attempt to harm the Scandinvan Empire again.”

In reality a number of snipers were setting up around the building.

"Do it. I want to see it on TV. Go"

A group of about twenty men were being escorted to a podium in the open where they were surrounded guards. Yet, on all their hands and foreheads was mark to symbolize who they were. They had been branded for their crimes against the empire. Then in front of them stood an Imperial guard that made them take their oaths to God to never harm a person of violates the laws of the Empire. Incidentally this news was only being transmitted to the school at the moment and a lot of it had been well altered.

"We will release half of the prisoners. Then we want verification the men are returned home."

The men were being brought home to their families one by one in the entirety. Then the negotiator went to the door of the school and said,” We have brought the prisoners to the fronts of their houses, but they will not be released until you give us half of the captives and then they shall be given to their families."

"GO, GO, GO!" the man yelled, ordering the younger children out of the building. "We have met your demands. Release them to their families"

In an upper floor, the RPG man was readying a rocket, in case a SWAT team was sent in.

They released the persons all the people with chips installed into them to track their movements. Yet, their brandings could not be removed as they were deep and to remove them a skilled surgeon would have to cut out all of their skin. As well, they had been drugged to forget everything that had occurred in the facility. Then the negotiator said,” As for the remaining hostages what are your demanss?”

OOC: What are the rebel guys fighting for again?

OOC: Well, if is hard to say as there are many groups in the Scandinvans, but the by a long shoot most of them were killed many centuries ago during the years of conquest. Yet, for the radical group they would not commit suicide missions as they consider that cowardly and only killed people when the other people have a chance.

"Now, we want safe passage out of here."

The four men witht he Uzi's on the ground floor agreed, and put down their weapons, and began to exit the school.

As soon as they got out they were seized by the Emperor's secret police. As well, they sweeped the building clearing of all persons before they procded further. Then they swopped back in and rearrested the eight guards from the warehouses and all the martyrs who had given their oaths after their release. But, this time they were to stand trail for their crimes and then they would recieve a prision sentence not as traitors, but for kidnapping and for plotting to commit acts against, which is really only about six years in jail.

The arrests were expected. That is why only four men came out, not the fifth, with the RPG. As the police came to them, the four men set off their suicide belts, exploding and sending nails an ball bearings everywhere. Then, in the chaos, the RPG man fired at a police car from the 3rd story window he hid in. He then threw down his RPG and opened up with the Uzi he had on the surprised officers below.

To counter the new attack one of hidden soldiers on the roof launched a rocket right at the man in the hole that was powerful enough to destroy an entire house. As well, medics came in and escorted out ten wounded police officers and carried away five dead police. In response the military quickly rounded up all remaining martyrs who were still free and now decided to force all those captured to work in the hidden mines of the Emperor one and a half miles underground.

The RPG man was blown apart. For now, Griffincrest would wait and see what the Imperial Government did. (OOC: What are your civilian casualties looking like?)

With them dead the soldiers began to clear the area up and assigned it as a dangerous area and had to be repaired before anyone could inside and a heavy guard would be maintained there. About four civilians were dead and thirty more were wounded.

OOC: I meant from the initial bombings, i.e. the busses, trains, cars and cafe

Above ground, the Martyrs began a killing spree in retaliation for the betrayal they had seen. 5 men with AKS-74U's began spraying down people in a large mall. Around the Imperial palace, 3 car bombs went off simultaneously. The Scandinvan stock exchange was hit by 2 suicide bombers.

Military points around the city were rapidly ambushed. Suicide car bombers exploded, and Uzi wielding assailants, sometimes as many as 20, descended upon the survivors.

By the way as the Imperial Capital is where the Imperial Palace and is off limits to all non-Valgardians and since they cannot enter the martyrs will be prevented from entering since even people with high political connections cannot enter. IC: The Imperial Army in the city being extremely well trained men fought back the assaults with brutal efficiency. As well, they began to respond to set up check points in front of important buildings and would kill anyone who tried getting past security without going through their checkpoints.

In the mall the people fled for their lives as two dozen people fell to the ground either dead or wounded. Ten Imperial soldiers with M-16s began to fire on the martyrs. In the stock exchange their was a good deal of damage, but a lot of deaths had been averted due to many people having the day off due the fact the exchange rates had been set for the next week to be active online due to fear of a bombing.
At the check point when bomb exploded two soldiers were killed and another two were injured due to flying debris and burns.

At the train station bombing 280 were killed and a further 420 were injured.

OOC: Sorry, that was my fault, lets just change it 2 bombs instead of chemicals rocking the train stations. Also, the bombs at the Imperial Palace blew up as close as they can get to the checkpoint.

Claudius watched the chaoas of the attacks on the television. He sat back, and waited for the Scandinvans to make their move. "Ball's in their court" he said to his aide, smiling slightly.

The men who assaulted the checkpoint quickly retreated after the initial attack, leaving the men manning it in confusion.

Being highly soldiers of the Emperor’s elite guard legions they reformed quickly after receiving orders from the Imperial High Command.

In response to the growing attacks well over a hundred more arrests were made on martyr suspects and they also began to assassinate the leaders of the martyr cells in a counter terror campaign.

Further, the Imperial Army responded by sealing of all hospital parking lots that are within fifty yards of hospitals and by preventing all non-approved emergency vehicles near the hospital.

OOC: Yea, defense was the main plan

The mercenaries in the Confederacy got the call to move out, and quickly, the 73rd infantry division under the Neo-Erusean commander Garcia Townes,
and the 67th infantry over the ex-Confederate commander Marcus Redeye.

Both divisions were packed into their ships, and set sail towards the Scandinvans. They would be there shortly.

As they arrivied at the now heavily defended Scandinvan ports a Scandinvan High Commander went to greet them.

Commander Redeye moved to meet the High Commander. "Any place our men are especially needed here, sir?"

The High Commander replied,” Your men are needed in the suburbs of this city due to the fact a major arrest in under in different areas right of which eight hundred have already been arrested.”

The commander then ordered both division to enforce martial law over the suburbs of the Imperial City.

Meanwhile, in the city, the martyrs became even more brazen. 10 men entered the Scandinvan subway station, at the major station in the city. They arrived at seperate times, each carrying a guitar case., police were expected to be encountered. In the cases, each man had an AR-550. A massacre was about to take place.

At one of the checkpoints set up the Imperial soldiers the first few martyrs had to enter through were manned by two dozen soldiers and had metal detectors stopped anyone who had any metal on them.

The first man saw the checkpoint, and stopped. He called the rest, and they met up. Once assembled, one of them approached the checkpoint, looking like every other citizen.Then, quickly, they struck. He set off a suicide belt. In the ensuing chaos, the rest began opening up with a deadly hail of bullets at the men manning the checkpoint.

A dozen of the soldiers remained uninjured and launched a hail of well place gun fire at the martyrs and also four police came running in and opened pistol fire on the martyrs.

Many of the martyrs dropped. The 2 remaining men let loose one last burst, and then set off their suicide belts as well.

With the lest two martyrs dead those who fell were counted. Eight soldiers were killed, 2 police, and 10 civilians. As well another eight soldiers, 1 police officers, and 8 civilians were wounded.

Griffincrest mercenaries dutifully went about their patrols in the suburbs. Meanwhile, higher ranking corporate leaders contacted some of the Anti-Muslim groups more affluent members.

This is due to the fact that these men are like Spartans trained since there teens to be soldiers specializing in hand to hand, marksmanship, and close combat. So when you get close up to them they can use things like hearing to be able to hear people coming and cover the prisoner with their bodies to prevent you from taking him.

IC: The men soon popped out of the sewers in a GSF section of the city. The rebel leader was quickly sent to the nearby medic tent. He was scheduled to be extracted to the Griffincrest military hospital in The Husk, in the RFF.

OOC: Because if I ever manage to recapture him I will be able to tell him apart because of the wound due to the fact that the wound was deep and made by the Imperial Melee Weapons Guild.

IC: Learning from his secret police of the betrayal of the corporation twenty entire legions moved in and begun an all attack on the Corporate area of the suburbs. As well, from the air the Scandivans deployed the air force in force to keep it safe, but to be safe the planes nearby the city were cleared out to use the air fields only as refueling points and the rest of the planes were sent to other air fields. As well, by sea the Scandinvan High Fleet held all waters within two hundreds miles by blockade. Furthermore, the Secret Police and the Emperor’s most loyal legions sent up blockades on all roads and sealed off all sewer drains and pipes large enough for even a child to go through and they also began operations against members of the rebellious group through the city.

OOC: Did you just go to full out war over the words of 4 men, which may or may not be verified, without even notifying the soldiers superiors?

OOC: Actually, I was just waiting for a more personal excuse to allow me to attack and since the secret police are considered the most able and powerful soldiers under the Emperor and thus their word would be considered enough by the Emperor as he still remembers the Latyaq conflict. As well, since he is supreme commander of the army it is pretty hard for the other branches of government to prevent him from doing anything. Yet, for a decent reason it is because you have basically interfered in my nation’s legal process and right to sovereignty.

The Griffincrest forces immediatly began executing all civilians living in their area of control, and then began pushing into the city. Their target was the Imperial Palace. If they could cut off the head, the rest of the snake dies.

At sea, 4 Nimitz class carriers, a Kraken class dreadnought, and 10 Chieftain class pocket battleships had been waiting out in international waters. At the onset of the attack, they all began mobilizing. The Kraken began blasting its massive railguns as it sailed into Scandinvan water, pounding coastal defenses from a distance. Aboard the carriers, Gnats, F-4's, and Hong-5 bombers were preparing for takeoff.

OOC: No it just gives me the purpose to, but it not really the strongest one internationally yet in my people’s culture defying the will of the Emperor does.

IC: The Emperor who had long been in Valgard remained there surrounded by 20 full legions of his bodyguards, 100,000 soldiers. Yet, the Imperial Palace in that city was usually used only during short Imperial visits which occurred rarely due to the fact that the city was a large city close to Valdra which the Emperor often visited. In the city the Imperial legions which outnumbered their enemies by more then ten to one launched a massive attack centering around the counter offensive in the capital.

On the water three large carriers, 8 Grand Imperial Battleships, 12 Heavy Blade Cruisers, 32 Medium Master Cruisers, 20 Anti-Aircraft Cruisers, 40 Light Cruisers, and 80 Destroyers of the Valdra Fleet began their attack with a heavy cannon and missle barrage centered on the carriers. To assist them F-18s, F-16s, and H-231 Anti-Aircraft Fighters went to engage their enemy. Their flight numbered around a total of 1250 fighter craft.

The Griffincrest planes did not taking off, seeing the folley in doing so. Instead, the ships fired literally thousands of SAM's into the sky. Nearly 100 Um al Maradim fast attack vessels began speeding towards Scandinvan waters. With them, four mechanized divisions, eight infantry divisions, two artillery divisions, and five armoured divisions. This was quickly turning into a full blown war,

In the city, Griffincrest forces decided it best to just bunker down and wait. Every building in their zone of control was now turned into something of a mini fortress. SA-11's were a frequent site in the street. Anti-tank mines littered intersections. The bodies of civilians lay in mounds on street corners. The suburbs were now one, large military zone. The sad part, this never had to happen.

About fifty missile cruisers joined the anti-aircraft cruisers launched their own barrage consisting of thousands missiles were targeted at all the SAM as well the fighters pulled back after launching their own missile barrage against the missiles flying at high speeds to try to out perform the SAM’s, but yet they suffered about a hundred down aircraft from the attack.
