OOC: Basically, as the title suggests I'm creating a list of people who consider their nations to be good guys, or bad guys. Mainly to be used for people who are either unfamiliar with those who are experienced on NS, for those who are just looking to strengthen allies, or for those who just want to see who's who in FT.

Well, just state how you'd classify yourself.... If you want.

Oh, and please state (if it even applies to ya) if your nation has Jedi, Sith, or Magick wielders.

(I'm gunna put up a few which I know for sure.

The List:
Chronosia: Chaos Sorcery (AKA: 40k chaos)
Huntaer: Kirtir (Dark Side Wielder)
Unified Sith: The Longest running Sith Empire on Nationstates. (Evil)
-Bretonia-: Neutral
Deatharon: Evil
DMG: Neutral
The Transylvania- Walking the line between good and evil
New Dornalia- Neutral/good
Azaha- Neutral (40k)
The World Soviet Party- Neutral/good
New Jovia- Good
Mirkana- Evil
The Far Realms- "Beyond evil"
Valley of the Giant- Evil
Mini Miehm- Chaotic Neutral
The Solarin League- Chaotic Good
Starenell- Good, for now

Me! Well, obviously. I use Chaos Sorcery as well, including, but not limited to the invocation of Daemons and other Warp Entities.

Heh... I shoulda put on those I already know.

And whatda know... I forgot to add myself on before you responded.
Unified Sith
19-08-2006, 03:14
Unified Sith - The Longest running Sith Empire on Nationstates. (Evil)
Huntaer

added.
Chronosia
19-08-2006, 03:18
In addition, my title along the lines of Sith's "Most evil Nation on NS" :P
-Bretonia-
19-08-2006, 03:19
I'm assuming that the concept of neutrality isn't completely alien to this genre of RP, in spite of appearances...
Deatharon
19-08-2006, 03:19
The Grand Shadow Imperium of Deatharon (Evil)

Deatharonians: A race of genetically engineered super humans. They try to force other races human or otherwise to worship their Grand Shadow Emperor. Those that fail to do so are exterminated.

No offense to sithy, but I'd go so far as to call you:
Oneofthemostgoddamnevilbastardsevercreatedbygod

Bretonia, personally, I wouldn't call neutrality alien. I just find it hard to RP. It's quite a challenge.

Deatharon, added.
DMG
19-08-2006, 03:30
I'd say FT DMG is neutral despite being in the GE.
Deatharon
19-08-2006, 03:36
I forgot to mention that all Deatharonians are telepathic, Some have Psychic abilities. I am not sure if that counts as magic or Jedi power?
Huntaer
19-08-2006, 03:36
Unsure... I'd classify it as a way to Jedi/Sith powers
The Transylvania
19-08-2006, 03:37
The Dominion (The Transylvania): Walking the thin line between good and evil.

Only CW know who the Dominion is, the others only know there are strange pyramid spaceships that fought on CW‘s side. US called me a Goa'uld, which is not true, it is the fact that he has seen Ha’Tak and they were used by Goa'ulds.

The reason I said, walking the thin line between good and evil, is that I have Warlocks (Gray Jedi) that can use both the Light and the Dark in combat.
New Dornalia
19-08-2006, 04:03
Workers State of New Dornalia: Neutral Good. While we do occasionally indulge in asskicking too much, otherwise, we play by the guidelines (not so much international law) and generally are moral.
Azaha
19-08-2006, 04:12
Nuetral. 40k Psyker "magic"
The World Soviet Party
19-08-2006, 04:54
The World Soviet Party ,Neutral/Good, Powers OF COMMUNISM, SOCIALISM AND EVERYTHING THATS GOOD AND PENGUIN'ISH IN THIS WORLD!
New Jovia
19-08-2006, 05:11
The Alaskan Federations: Nationalist CEOs in space! - Good guys
New Jovia: Scientifically advanced refugees from a devastated solar system - Good guys

Mirkana - Militarized nation which executes idiots - Evil
The Far Realms - Iye Iye Cthulhu Ftagn! - EVIL BEYOND ALL BELIEF
Valley of the Giant

We're Drow, so we're evil, but less so after the Burning Trail. Maybe this would change if Chronosia would reply to my suggestion on the TGs.
SeaQuest
19-08-2006, 06:06
TBH, I would classify the Force as a form of Magick (Magic (whout the 'k') is what stage magicians do, but Magick (with the 'k') is the good stuff such as what Chrono likes to use).

As for my trio of SeaQuestian primary nations, here's my opinions.

Shadow SeaQuest: Complete and utter Darkness. Willing to cross the line between what is commonly accepted as good and evil if it advances their goals.
SeaQuest DSV: Pure and undiluted Light. Peaceful, but quite willing to blow up the planet you are standing on if pushed.
SeaQuest: Neighter absolute Light nor Dark. A mix of characters that put their goals ahead of others (ie, the local warlords), those just trying to survive (a large chunk of the civilian population), and others trying to restore order and balance to the nation (ie, the government).

TBH, I wouldn't know how to classify them elsewise as I'm unfamiliar with the standard board-based RPG scale it appears you are using.

MM is Chaotic Neutral, just because it's more duysfunctional than evil. TSL is Chaotic Good.

Starenell

Toopoxia

I'm considering the possibility of FT soon so I might aswell put my name down, i'm evil but only in a certain sence of the word, put me down as Nuetral.

And may I note that, as Drow, you're a bit of a joke in my opinion. My girlfriend has the evil drow bit down to a science. And she's NEUTRAL.

Now now, be nice. Can't be very competant Drow if they settle for neutrality. Lloth must be on vacation.

They told Lloth to stuff it. Just because they CAN.

And another thing! The spelling is inconsistent within the books! Which is correct!?

*Shrugs* Personally I'm an either or kinda guy. Besides, Lloth has the other Drow now, she can just make them kill other non-Llothy Drow because shes bored. That and turn men into Driders. I love Driders...
Starenell
26-08-2006, 01:42
Driders are like centuars, only cooler. Unfortunatly they would kill you before you could ride them. Imagine a drider cavalry unit.
Outer Heaven MK II
26-08-2006, 06:13
Outer Heaven MK II: Good on the outside, sickeningly evil on the inside. Your call.
Valley of the Giant
26-08-2006, 08:02
Just ignorance, really. Lolth is spelled both ways by now, and I've adjusted my nation to fit NS so I can RP both MT and FT.
Examples-In MT we can't use Clerical powers. Wizard magics are useable really only in our uranium-rich caverns in Kologk and a bit utside of the settlements and cities. Because we mysteriously switched Planes, our prayers to Lolth don't reach her, hence why the Monarchy came about: They needed one figure to follow. In FT Lolth was able to contact us and our prayers reach certain Handmaidens who take her place in this material plane. Of course, should the Forces of Chaos and the Warp reach the Handmaidens...
Hyperspatial Travel

I like to think of myself as good. Of course, our stated mission plan is to exterminate all life from the universe without exception, committing countless atrocities to get to where we want to be, but morality is subjective. And so is putting worlds full of innocent people to the flame, and building baby-catapults.
Nova Boozia
30-08-2006, 07:57
Boozia considers the entire spectrum of good and evil a fallacy, prefering more pragmatic moral (and immoral) concepts, such as "Do I enjoy it?", "Will I get paid?", and "Who is most likely to die in this situation?". This basically leads to a psychotic/hedonistic rampage across the galaxy looking for alchohol, money, members of the opposite sex, and stuff to shoot at, a definate impression of evil. But still, offer the right rewards and pull the right strings and you can make them give out sweets to children and pick up litter.

Bottom line: chaotic neutral.

And my puppet, The Posleen Hosts is convinced of their absolute superiority as a species and driven by a desire to eat people, so just about everyone gets the "evil" impresion, regardless of actual morality.

Czardas

New Czardas (my FT nation) is neutral-stoned, and occasionally belligerent in a playful kind of way. So... yeah, that's a tough question.
