OOC: Sorry about the delay, GR...

Secret IC:

Ludo Heinkel and Milan Srecko were to discuss military matters at the RIA and Luftwaffe top secret base in southeast Germany.

Ludo Heinkel sat, eating his Wiener Schnitzel, waiting for news of Srecko's arrival.

Milan Srecko drove his ZiS-101 limousine past the Milan Srecko Toll Plaza onto the Milan Srecko Expressway to the Beograd Milan Srecko International Airport. At the airport, he was escorted to his personal Tupolev Tu-114. The Tu-114 flew to the secret air base in southeast Germany and landed safely.

After being searched [OOC: I'm assuming they would], Srecko walked into the meeting room and greeted Herr Ludo Heinkel.

"Good evening, Senator Srecko," Ludo Heinkel cheerfully said. "We have much business to discuss. I understand that Vineyard in back, and that your nation has given them back Croatia and Bosnia. That's terrific. As you know, Vineyard's a major trading partner of our nation. We would not want them to be upset, you see. If you continue to appease the Vineyardians, we will... [Ludo Heinkel speaks in a Mafia-style voice] give your nation "special treatment," you know what I'm sayin'? We'll make you an offer you cannot refuse... [Ludo Heinkel speaks normally] a secure supply of Norwegian oil. But you must not only continue to make Vineyard happy... but also offer some [Ludo Heinkel speaks in a Mafia-style voice again] "special services" to us. But we're willing to PAY for these "services." You see... we want your submarines to "TAKE CARE" of those merchant vessels in the Mediterrean for Sistan, you know what I'm sayin'? We would do it ourselfs, but our navy is undergoing an overhaul."

Senator Srecko, an expert on Serbian proverbs, replied, "As the old Serbian proverb goes, 'Није злато све што сија' ('Not all shiny things are golden'). Thus, we will accept this deal, for a price. Following the old Serbian proverbs, 'Боље врабац у руци, него голуб на грани' ('A sparrow in the hand is better than a pigeon on the branch') and 'Где ти много обећавају, малу торбу понеси' ('Where people are promising much to you, bring a small bag'), we ask for a reasonable amount of money in our hands now..."

Milan Srecko acts melodramatically following Ludo Heinkel's example, "One... MILLION dollars!" But like Ludo Heinkel, talks normally again afterwards, "Oh... wait. Did I say million? I'm so old fashioned. I mean... [he talks melodramatically again] One... BILLION dollars!"

This guy must be crazy Ludo Heinkel thought. But it's a good deal, especially since Vineyard will be happy.

After conferring with Otto Rommel von Heinkel and Adolf Göring, Ludo Heinkel replied, "It is a deal then, Senator Srecko...but change your attacking target from whatever Sistan wants to whatever Vineyard wants. One billion dollars will be wired through a Swiss bank account to your personal account immediately. As long as you hold your end of the deal, we will maintain a constant oil supply from Norway to your nation."

After a brief pause, he continued, "Our nation also seeks increased economic relations between us. Perhaps Luft Industries could continue the contructions projects (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_airports_in_Serbia) at your nation's airports in Serbia and Romania, and launch Lufthansa, jetRed, and Independence Air service to all the airports? Remember we already have scheduled flights to all your major airports."

Senator Srecko striked a dark, evil grin.

"With that money in my hands, I will ensure that Vineyard will recieve these... 'special services,' Herr Heinkel," he replied to Ludo Heinkel. "We also agree to your economic proposal. But now I must return to the Motherland. Good day, my comrade!"

Srecko left the room smoothly, and walked onto his personal aircraft. He would arrive back in Beograd shortly thereafter.

Ludo Heinkel called after him, "I'll contact your office in Weißenburg if we need anything. Have a nice flight!"
