The People's Revolutionary Union of Orleia has grown to the size of nearly 1 billion inhabitants. It has a serious problem, It lacks the resources it needs to run their economy on the strain of supporting such a huge amount of people.

The Government is going to try an launch a war of "Liberation" to annex a nation towards it's border in order to feed it's citizens and get valuable resources that can be used to stimulate the Orleian economy. Any takers to being invaded by an aggressive communist nation?


These sorts of targets would be preferable:

Oppressive or capitalist nations
A nation with a good economy to exploit
One that is my size or smaller
Monarchies, and Imperialists.
Fascists are also nice targets.

Well, what you can do to help your economy is become a Griffincrest associate.

Out of character: I could go for being invaded. We're socialist and very populous though, so I don't know how well I suit the description. Story sounds interesting, and I wouldn't mind getting in with another role.

I am a communist country! I could not politically submit to a capitalist institution like Griffincrest. It is more likely we would be fighting a war over political ideology.

I would have a hard time starting a war against a nation that is socialist. It almost follows my nations own political ideology. We would see your nation as progressing towards a true communist state and we would not want to interfere with your own developing revolution against the evil bourgeois.

You could jump on the side of the defender or on my side when I finally get a target to launch my invasion..

If you want, you can attack oil rigs, or an NPC Griffincrest run country, and then I can counter invade.

Or you can attack the floundering GASN...

On the economic side, we're poor in fossil fuels but rich in uranium (and thus have a nuclear power fetish). Of course, the military is quite devoted to the quasi-monarchal Commonwealth, so you're not guaranteed a successful invasion, much less an easy one.

I would not mind fighting to invade a nation like that. We hate monarchies and invading to support a communist take over would help my nation keep its political agenda straight. The nuclear power incentive is also tempting. Your military might be a bit hard to beat in combat. I might need to get the support of local populations to start riots and discontent to spread the revolution through out your commonwealth. I guess invading you would be okay!

I don’t think my nation would mess with Griffincrest until I have long range nuclear weapons. My economy does not support that kind of weaponry just yet.

If I manage to crush Rosdivan and get their uranium. I will start a nuclear power/arms program. If I fail, It could be a bloody counter strike from the commonwealth.

I'll start the thread, probably tomorrow. Local communists will be getting slaughtered quite badly; uprising when the opportunity really isn't all that good for one. Also, semi-closed (Open for diplomacy, closed for military stuff) would be best. I don't think you'd fair well if both GASN and the Greater Prussian Empire mobilized for this :p). Probable best entrance for you is as the communists are being rather brutally repressed, in the name of "international workers' brotherhood" or some such.

Don't worry, GASN activities have been halted for however long it'll take for us to make a working military council and clean up the forums.

This would seem interesting, I can not however join it thanks to other obligations. I would however be interested in seeing this RP unfold.

Murder, Plot, and Treason (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=11565744#post11565744). He's dead, and the fighting is soon to begin. I'd recommend either a secret IC post between KGB-type folk mentioning that the operation went well (if you want to have links between the CCP and your folks) or waiting until we start going after the CCP, which will be my next post (hopefully later tonight).

I think my O.S.S.B. (Orleian Secret Security Bureau) would probably try and seduce young communist's idealists to commit murder. I also could go with coming in after the attack.

Could my nation with the UPEO possibly offer peacekeeping duties after the (possible) conflict is ended?
