Gunkoku Builds for War
It was recently discovered that the nation of Gunkoku, who invaded our southern region not long ago, is once again building its forces for an attack upon Bushijatagi. Their prior attempts were halted by a group of concerned nations who came to the aid of our people. However President Mao Xia had this to say
"The Savegrey of Gunkoku cannot stand and we are now prepared to hold of an offensive, unlike in the last event. Our military is stronger and our people more united. Rest assured that we will be unmerciful to Gunkoku should they invade us again"
The state officials are currently working on the situation, but are deeply conserned with the rumor of nuclear weapons inside Gunkoku. Although official statments state the weapons do not exist, Gunkoku's military leaders have often shown to be less than honest in their words.

Consul Akagi: These statements are proof that the Bushi goverment is involved in a vendetta against Gunko. Also it is apparent that they hold a deep fear of our military power, and without her allies to save her Bushi's military cannot stand against us.

Army Cmndr. Ushio: The last thing we want is a war, especially so soon after fighting with Bushi already. But our military is well fit to move on Bushi should they show hostilities toward us. Our new Air marshal, Nejiro Hiyo is well prepared to shatter her cities and armies before they cross the border. I do not see any good coming from these accusations and I am upset by their unwilliness to let the past go.

It is in the inerrest of having a calm and secure situation in that era.
Therefor, Vestern States is offering a neutral zone for negotiations onbord the flagship of the 2nd Imperial Navy, the VSN Logaretis.
Howeverm should this prove futile, we could send a peace-keeping force to the region.

Should thins escalate, we are prepared to move sections of the 2nd navy into the area.

The Supreme Commonwealth of Rosdivan suggests that we be permitted to deploy a peacekeeping and monitoring force to your mutual borders, and that whosoever engages in a military attack on the other be annexed by the Supreme Commonwealth, thus putting an end to the problem.

Army Comndr. Ushio: To the delegates of the world I say this " Bushijatagi has recently accused Gunkoku of harboring and developing nuclear weapons. Rest asured that our State is not, pure and simple and Bushi, this time, is the aggressor nation." She is attempting to bring her allies back to our borders and remove our great leader from power. It is my opinion that sanctions be brought against them as they were brought unto us.

Official Response From the Goverment of the Democratic Republic of Granate
Location: Presidential Palace, Lucianus, Willentho, Granate

I am saddened by the news of the apparent rise in Militarism by Gunkoku. If this rise keeps going it will surely become a threat to many. We must try to stop any fighting from happening. We must try to stabilize the Gunkoku/Bushijatagi region.

So with those points in mind I invite Delegates from both Gunkoku and Bushijatagi to come to Granate's Capital of Lucianus to discuss keeping the peace in the Region. Also any nation wishing to keep the peace in the region may come as well. We must try at all costs to keep the peace. I don't know how much I must stress this.

IN RESPONSE TO THE SITUATION
The threat of nuclear weapons so close to our borders wories us, true or not these acusations must be taken into consideration. because of this our awarness has been hightened. the first legion, some 6,000 men and sheep strong, has been put on high alert and is willing to help any peace keeping operations. we shall take no side until it is necisary to do so.

The Republic of Blaglug, in an intrest to aviod another war, strongly urges both parties stand down immediatly so that a buffer zone may be put into place in the region.

Furthermore, the Republic STRONGLY ADVISES Neo-Erusea not make rash decisions as the last time this happened, nuclear war almost the outcome.

I smashed the Gunkoku military last time, and they are not keeping to the treaty's terms.

We will accept your offer, only if these terms are met.
1. Gunkoku must pay Bushijatagi for all damages.
2. The Gunkoku Army will be dissolved and be limited to 12,000 men, 400 vehicles, and 600 aircraft.
3.Gunkoku must accept military presence from Gyrobot, Pheonoxius, Ontaruim, and Neo-Erusea.
4. Top Gunkoku military officials will be handed over to be tried in Bushijatagi courts.
These conditions must be met or Gunkoku will be further occupied. Also, if these conditions are met Gunkoku government officials will be pardoned.

Gunkoku is not abiding by the terms of the treaty that ended the previous Bushi-Gunkoku war. If they don't demilitirize ASAP Neo-Erusea will crush them again.

For you see, Gunkoku attacked Bushi in a war of conquest.

The problem with your assumtion is that you are relying on a report from another nation. NOT concreate evidence of such.

Read it. Gunkoku attacked 'for no apparent reason'. They were Neo-Erusea's enemy. Gunkoku even had their top military official pardoned, that Ushio fellow. If Bushi is making this up then so help me I will go all Kraven Capitol Police-style on Bushi's population.

AC Ushio: our past mistakes should not be held against us, it is unjust and oppressive. Also the terms of the agreement were never set to a date therefore we were not told for how long these items wre in effect. But I promise you that Gunkoku has no intetion of moving on Bushijatagi any time soon.

OOC: I have read through the thread and saw plenty of godmodding from both sides... mostly in stating the other sides casualties.

Yeah, I know. Its infuriating when you're RPing and the other guy leaves for a couple of days. I am sorry for that but there was no way Gunkoku could win anyways, since Gyrobot was bent on total destruction.
