Saudi Border of Yemen

Tanks and Army Regiments from both Yemen and Oman traveled across the Saudi border and saw their targets in sight. Yemen and Oman had begun it's advancement through the Yemen border to strike the most damage to the kingdom and planned to attack the cities of Najran and Jizan.

Jizan
6:45 A.M.

The military force of Yemen and Oman struck the city hard and without mercy. Tanks fired at the civilian buildings while also striking at its agricultural fields. Many civilians took up arms to defend themselves but were unable to push back the combined forces. Seeing they could not defeat the military, the citizens of the kingdom began to flee from the city, but only less than half of them managed to escape.
Casualties:
Saudi Arabia: 51,436 civilians
Yemen and Oman: 24 soldiers

Najran
6:45 A.M.

The forces of Yemen and Oman met with more resistance in Najarn, but not strong enough to keep a great deal of lives from being lost. But what struck the citizens the most was the destruction of an important site for the entire city. Half an hour into the fighting, an airforce strike was conducted on the Najran Valley Dam, one of the largest dams in the kingdom. Seeing it fall into the water was a strain on the spirit of the people in the city, but kept fighting for their lives. Thankfully, the military present there was able to keep the forces of Yemen and Oman from advancing.
Casualties:
Saudi Arabia: 3,482 civilians, 238 soldiers
Yemen and Oman: 197 soldiers

When King Mutaib bin Abdullah Al-Saud learned of the strike on his country, he was in a great deal of shock. He was warned by Yemen and Oman before that if he did not step down from his seat of power, his country would face dire consequences, but he did not believe that it would lead to war. Not all countries in the world felt safe with the House of Saud's return to power, despite popular demand, due to the fact of Crown Prince Al-Saud's support of HAMAS. Mutaib promised that he would see to it that any terrorists or HAMAS supporters would be removed, but not all countries around the world apparently believed him, including Yemen and Oman. But there was no time now to grieve over what was happening, he had a kingdom to save. He ordered a military strike on the Yemen and Oman forces to take back the cities of Najran and Jizan. The soldiers were able to push back the militaries but not without a heavy cost. The king was grieved to have seen this attack occur today, but he would likely hear from Yemen and Oman soon, so he would have to be ready to answer whatever propositions they had for him.

Military Attack Casualties:
Saudi Arabia: 299 soldiers
Yemen and Oman: 328 soldiers

Total Casualties:
Saudi Arabia: 54,918 civilians, 537 soldiers
Yemen and Oman: 549 soldiers

When the Yemeni President Hani Husayn heard of the attacks he was shocked. He had not ordered any attacks on Saudi Arabia. He thought that the Saudis had either framed the attacks, made them up or perhaps some rogue Northern general had attacked. Whatever the case he sent an apology to Riyadh saying that he had not ordered the attacks but would investigate to see what had really occured. In the meantime the Armed Forces of Yemen would be put on full alert and he would investigate the attacks. Perhaps Oman had ordered an attack on Saudi Arabia, but Hani knew he hadn't.

"Any suspects yet?" said Husayn as he looked around at his cabinet.

One junior minister stood up and said rather nervously, "Well so far we have only found one possibility for this 'rogue general'. His name is Ali Al-Din Nabil, and he is a general from the north. He was suspected of being a separatist, but we weren't sure and the Defense Minister urged us to leave him be." Everyone glanced at the Defence Minister who smiled sheepishly. "And we think it is his troops that launched the attack."

"Well then, bring him in. But do it quietly, I don't even want his troops to know he is gone. And don't tell the Saudis yet, I don't want to tell them that we have the guy and then it turns out we don't have the real rogue general. And make sure you send some trusted and experienced people to bring him in. If he is the one who started this he will be really cautious and so be prepared. Dismissed. And you," he pointed at the Defense Minister, "Stay. Let's have a little chat."

Yemen would probably have a new defense minister in the next couple of days.

OOC: No Taxes, Choeson and Horde of Doom, this is just what Fateen is thinking at the moment.

Prince Fateen had read the front page newspaper traveling through the town square. He was right about Yemen and Oman, the countries did indeed attack Saudi Arabia and dealt a major blow to the people. The Yemeni's and Omani's had killed 54,918 civilians and 537 soldiers according to the front page paper. Seeing this also sparked so much anger in Saudi patriots, the police had to make sure that they would not try anything drastic like burning the Yemeni or Omani flag. Fateen did see them burn the flags about three times, but walked by as if he saw nothing. Just recently, the President of Yemen had sent a formal apology for the attacks on the Saudi cities. His father, King Mutaib, seemed relieved that the Yemeni government was not involved in the attacks since it would mean that war would not be coming around the corner. Of course this was what Fateen saw as his father's weakness. He was gentle in his old age and didn't want his country in a war right after wresting it from the hands of the tyrant Al-Quasi. If the Yemeni's were correct about a rogue general, this could mean that he could, of course, seize control of Yemen and order a full scale war with Oman as his ally. But all of this was definetly in a sense his doing since he knew about the attacks taking place a week before. He knew that his plans would take some sacrifice, but they would all be worth it in the long run...... at least the way he saw it.

The Sultan of Oman sends his sincere and solemn condolences to the people of Saudi Arabia, as such a travesty has not been witnessed for many years in the Kingdom. We hope that we can cooperate in resolving this matter and cutting out the extremist elements that perpetrated these attacks.

Wuday'ah, Saudi Arabia
9:45 P.M.

Armies under the army banners of Yemen and Oman both marched into the city and attacked without warning. But thankfully this time, the city was more prepared for an attack since King Mutaib had 3 days ago ordered that all cities near the countries of Yemen and Oman be defended with at least 5,000 soldiers. With the defense in the city, civilian casualties were kept at a minimum but not without any casualties.
Casualties:
Saudi Arabia: 27 civilians, 258 soldiers
Yemen and Oman: 251 soldiers

Dhamar, Yemen
9:45 P.M.

Panic ensued in the city as Soldiers from their own country stormed the city and brought death upon the entire populace. Those who would change to the strange ideals of the rogue army, were spared and given military equipment to join their cause. The city was left mostly unharmed with only a few buildings destroyed.
Casualties:
Yemen: 1,943 civilians
Yemen and Oman Rogue Forces: 9 soldiers
Gains in Forces:
Yemen and Oman Rogue Forces: 34

Munsandam Peninsula of Oman
10:00 P.M.

The rogue forces of Yemen and Oman had taken the peninsula and were able to take the naval bases to give the rogue forces a naval advantage. What was different though was the lack of casualties, as if the entire peninsula was behind the rogue forces.
Gainsin Forces:
Yemen and Oman Rogue Forces: 30,114

The nations of Yemen, Oman and Saudi Arabia had received another tape, but this one did not have the mystery man stating a victory over the three nations, but one of the supposedly loyal Yemeni Generals, Abdul-Jabaar Baranzai (http://www.himalmag.com/2002/july/images/zia-ul-haq.jpg). He spoke to the nations with the ruined city of Dhamar behind him.

Tape: "Greetings people of Yemen and Oman... If you are surprised by what you now see, than you are truly ignorant of what my master has had to tell you. The people have begun a rebellion where democracy shall topple your regimes, and crush the House of Saud once and for all. I now urge the people of Yemen and Oman to take up arms and follow my master to bring democracy to the people of the Middle-East!"

Panic ensued in the city as Soldiers from their own country stormed the city and brought death upon the entire populace. Those who would change to the strange ideals of the rogue army, were spared and given military equipment to joint their cause.

Gains in Forces:
Yemen and Oman Rogue Forces: 80,714

OOC: I don't think you would so easily be able to slaughter 103,233 civilians and the equip 80,714. For one thing, where would you get the weapons and you realize that they would just be an unorganized mutinous rabble who would rout as soon as they were confronted by a Professional army.

Just realized. I've edited it though. Sorry, I just sometimes... well I can't think of the right way to say it really. But it's been edited.
