King John II of Socal8 extends an invitation to all friendly nations to create embassies in our great Kingdom. We are also looking for allies to support as us we are a very small nation.

All Embassies within the Kingdom of Socal8 will adhere to the following unless given approval:
-600 people or less
-150 Security or less
-No armored Vehicles
-As many unarmored Vehicles as you wish
-No weapons other than small arms which includes rifles, assault rifles, etc.
-Embassy personnel cannot be arrested until Diplomatic status revoked
Any embassy personnel can be ejected from the Kingdom at any time without the government of Socal8 having to give warning or explanation.

120 Fully armed Marines

The Kingdom of Socal8 was founded in 1706 when the Duke of Socal8 crowned himself King. The Kingdom has a population of 5 million people and growing and is an island nation(use Great Britain). King John II is the monarch and he is in firm control of his nation. For the last 300 years our nation has made no attempt to take part in the affairs of the world but with the coronation of King John II he decided that Socal8 needed to begin making alliances for defensive purposes and to make sure Socal8 remained safe.

Fortunately for Borman with the closing of several other fronts not too far behind and the Warmaster civil war raging Borman was already mobilized with fleets and armies ready for deployment. As such the first fleet was able to immediately set sail for the waters of Socal8. At this point in time the first army is boarding on the second fleet which shall soon follow.

Didn't do too much besides sanctions that time, as I'd barely started if memory serves. Your conduct upset me at the time, now it's getting more amusing to be honest. Your embassy staff may move in at anytime. You may select any piece of land within the international district of the capital and it will be given to you free of charge. This property will be considered part of your nation and you may build what you wish on it. ICCD is willing to substancially invest in development of any such area granted as sovereign territory of ICCD. We are willing to take granting of as much land as you feel comforable transfering to the lordship of ICCD.

ICCD will consult with local construction companies and will begin development on the plot as soon as ICCD has word of how much land is available for aquisition, and if any development restrictions apply.

Depending on the climate, ICCD will opt for a garden theme as it usually does in religious accordance of the primal doctrines. With underground construction heritage we will opt for the main operations rooms and housing except for geust room and state room all being underground. If posible underground water reserves would be tapped with a well if appropriate. Also surface rainwater recycling as well as sanitation recycling and use would be installed. Biogas systems would also be installed. The embassy would also contain a small zoo/barn for ceremonial animals if so suitable for the environment. It is common for a terraced hill used for farming and some croppings of vineyard, fruitorchard, and gardens, fencing and walk being set aside. Finally room for a private airstrip and helipad. Is also of use. Having capacity for deep ground digging would ease up much of the size restrictions.

We would in mind like as much land as is reasonable to attain, and would consider buying a larger area of land away from the embassy row if it makes more sense as far as providing room for other embassy estates. We could operate a small office on embassy row and a larger living and operations compound away from embassy row if there is not enough room on embassy row. I can offer you 1 square mile of land in the international district and up to ten square miles of land outside the capital with which you may create an estate. I will allow you to create a helipad but an airstrip will not be feasible. There are perfectly good airports with very good security within and around the capital which you may use.

My military could use tanks, armored personnel carriers, artillery, and especially fighter planes. Yes there are plenty of ports for docking but we would recommend using the Naval base at Norfolk. My Army the backbone of my military has around 300,000 men in it. My army having around 250,000. Only around 200,000 are fully trained at this point though and the other 50,000 have just been added in this emergency and are in different forms of training. We also have a National Guard of around 100,000 men and all able bodied men are now being added because of this emergency.

We will attach one legionne equiped for ground action 4 MCT (comand tanks) 30 IAPC's. and 40 IPT (ATV JEEPS/LIGHTTRUCKS's) as well as an engineering corp, and one major land railroad transport and cars an experiemental unit approximately 10,000 legionaires will be attached capable of land operations.

If the situation stabalizes between GASN and ICCD you can count on more support as needed. If Socal8 can vouche for the safety of soilders operating in Socal8 in it's defence then we can take a more concerted role. However friendly fire may be an issue at this point.

Once we are cleared for operations we can land in your territory.

ICCD transmitted notice via secure channels where existant to King John II in regard to landing a recon communications unit to start in person talks in the matter.

A tall man (around 2 meters in height in Dian exoskin "generation 3" body armor steps out of a B&B slick rotor craft at the airport. The two pilots and two crew quickly get out and start spray the helicopter with hoses pulled out from the inside of the rotorcraft.. soon after they cover the B&B with a chromatic tarps that start to change their colour and shape.

The tall man in the armour speaks breifly with the crew, then starts walking to the Socal8 soilder that was ready to meet with the Dian forces.

The tallman holds pulls out a small scratchbook from one utility webs slung around the exoskin g3 and shows a ID to the soilder.

I am Baron Christof Zu Ponburgh of the Dian of the I.L.C. (IMPERIAL LEGIONAIRE COMMAND) Rank G14io4. Take me to the individual in charge of coordination with ICCD. I am under the impression that Lt. General Lord Spencer or his officers are who I should communicate with.

exoskin body armour (three layared black armour outer layer is vectran that has a thermal resistant camo coating, under that layer is a and a are nanocarbon strips that act as heat shields and offer extra protection. The linear systems. The nanocarbon strips or scales/plates, are connected via a wire mesh that also reads biosystems inside the body and sends the data to the computer system. The wiremesh is made of a composite material both metal and nonmetal via ionic bonding however the bonds are arange to be partially polar and allow tranmission of the electronsignals via the internal core that has an extremely thin nanocarbon relay system. The third layer is a liquid layer that is thermally treated to push heat into a "heat canister" in the armour next to a small exuast vents that are able to spike into the ground via the feet.. although there are a number of exuast vents that can be used and there are a total of 5 heat sinks for the body armour each around 3 cm by 3 cm. The liquid layer is also reactive liquid but also cussions the vectran layer
nanocarboninnerlayer, and an interal liquid lining that is thremally resistant forms the feel of a second skin) The final layer is steel spider silk that is bioengineered and processed. That forms a comfortable inner lining. These armour suits are being phased into production however they are still fairly rare. Within the next 10 to 20 years they should be more common as they phase out older body armour systems within ICCD. There are a number of aditions to the armour. Christof is in full body armour it includes a airrebreather and a pure oxygen chamber to extend the life of the rebreather. The armour like most Dian equipment is constantly under development and new variants are in the feild.

The Socal8 soldier was Colonel Lord White, Earl of Richmond.
I am Colonel Lord White, the Earl of Richmond and it is a pleasure to meet you. If you will come with me the Lord Spencer is waiting for you." The Colonel then motions towards 3 Humvees waiting and opens the door for Baron Christof.

Baron Christof waits to meets with Lord Spencer but spares a little small talk.

"How are you Lord White, how goes the day? Any action in this crisis yet?", the voice is a little muffled through the helmet but it is hear clearly but obviously doesn't sound like a natural voice, instead it seems filtered with less sound qualities then naturally exist in a human voice. While speaking he he scans the area, unbeknownst to his fellows, everything is being recorded onto his helmets memory and transmitted to his prism palm locked away in one of his arm webbings. He ets into the vehicle but tensing his legs to eject incase it is a trap, his years of soidering and SF traning have made him an odd person to idle with. Christof is obviously agitated, but in part because he is in a potential war zone, and has never been to Socal8 before, he really has no idea who he is talking to. He does appear attentive, and perhaps anxious.

Div is positioned on the west side of town around the airbase and acts as a reserve. The IV Corps with 1 Inf. and 1 Armored Division is on the east side protecting the most likely route of attack. This is where I want your men. They will be attached to the 16th Infantry Division. The final Corps of 1 mech and 1 inf. div sits on the south side and protects the internation district and the government district. Lord Spencer, I have a few questions and comments. First what type of air defences do you have available?

Second, how deep are your sewers and other underground structures?

Third, I would like to offer to put some non required but VIP individuals on a flight out of the area via the B&B that brought me here. We can take 6 individuals with us.

If I understand correctly you plan to have the battle occur at the edge of the city and inside the city?

I would advise that an advanced force is sent out to plant ground based attacks.. as well as place thermally shielded snippers and rear gaurd attackers stantioned in underground pits or other locations where thier body signatures can be hidden. This would include perhaps burrying a few vehicles.

I'm not sure how much time you have however I wouldn't concentrate all the forces in one area.

I would split up your forces and have some centered in secure locations basements or otherwise able to be called up when needed. Also I would remove the king and other indivduals from the royal grounds as they are likely for bombing. I would instead switch the attack coordination to another location such as a house in a non likely target area, or a sew station depending on how.. if it is bomb sheilded.. or subway lines for instnace if there is a secure exit.. and they are earthquake proof.

Also setting up some trenches and pits for a motorized onslaught may be of use.

ICCD can bring in some LADAR and other units If need be. The MCT's require wide streets to operate on... atleast 20ft wide for satisfactory movment conditions conditions.

ICCD woudld be coming up from the southwest most likely.. so it would be around the lower channel.. but depending on where the attacking forces are coming from.. it may pull deep out to bluewater... as an encounter with your opposing fleet may have nasty consequences. Is france there etc.. or is it just the isles in the water so the channel is actually open?

OOC: the war is on. this may get wereally ugly.

OOC: Yes Im going to move most of my troops up North to that Mtn Range and try hold out.

Last words...
ICCD will attempt to slip troops and supplies into the area as needed.
We recommend also leaving troops behind for insurgency ect.. If they have bunch place explosives.. sniping etc. .ICCD will attempt to move some more units into place. We just need to take as many of them out as posible.

On your allowances we will hit them hard when they land if they keep any type of formation. If they are coming in they will land from the sea. So if you empty all your fuel depos and start fires with them on the slicks it will prevent them from a port landing of course you could do the same.. place explosives under the port landing docks ect.. to go off when they land. Set up remotes. Also if they have light armours kevlar etc.. bows may be able to penetrate where bullets can't.

Any supplies you need you can request and we will see about resupplying.
