Welcome to Illiorian Arms Lpc.!
Illiorian arms is the major arms producer in Illior (Duh!) specializing in aircraft, but with more delvings into ground and naval systems in the near future. Illiorian Arms has been around since ancient times, but only as a small sword, bayonet and flintlock pistol maker during the 1800s. In the early 1900s, Illiorian arms Created Haaj-Frimmel Airworks, its air division. Haaj-Frimmel were pioneers in the aviation industry during their time. They were the sole provider of aircraft of the Kir, the side that fought for the reunification of the Illiorian Continent. Today, Haaj-Frimmel creates some of the best indigenously designed and produced aircraft in the world.

The Management team of Illiorian Arms Lpc is a devoted crew of five men, led by a retired Overlord of the Illiorian Air force, Lewis D. Kilinos. Mr. Kilinos was originally a Naval Aviator, and rose through the ranks of the Illiorian Navy till he hit as high up as he could go: Colonel Major. He was then transferred to the Airforce to continue his climb to the top. He had a kill record on the magnitude of 75 aircraft, with 35 by missile, and more impressively 40 by gun. He is assisted by Heath L. Heller who is the CEO. General Kevin Narmal, an ex marine turned aviator runs the research and development department. Nicholas V. Smith is the director of factories and machinery, so he deals with the day to day problems of the working man.

OUR TRIAL PROGRAM
We'll now fly out several of any aircraft to a perspective customer to let their pilots become used to the simulations, fly the actual aircraft, and have the ground crew learn about the maitenance of the aircraft. All that is needed is a request and 4 aircraft of this type and a Large transport carrying the maitenance stuff and Sims and quarters for the pilots will come along, normally a 2-3 week course(NS time), but can be longer if wished.

We modified the aircraft somewhat to suit our own needs of which we cannot get into the details now. Still, in the interests of pursuing closer relations with your nation, we would like to make an offer that we rarely make to other nations in this universe.

Within our capital and other designated areas throughout our state, we have special economic zones for outside corporations. We would like to know if your company is interested in setting up shop. Negotiation of terms is subject to the amount of investment, but at the minimum we can state the following:


Sufficient space to build at least one medium sized factory. Additional space can be arranged or negotiated with the Vrakian Ministry of War for testing of items.
Suitable protection guaranteed by the state of Vrak.
Illiorians will be given a special work visa to enter and move about freely within the state. Movement within the Klatch itself is subject to the FKC central government.
A certain percentage of the workers should be Vrakians, although the exact number is subject to available technical skills.
Lucrative tax breaks by the state – as per the guidelines in the special economic zone.
Opportunities to pursue research and development with notable Vrakian companies.

To more of the specifics, most of our factories are usually quite large by current economic markers, as we like to normally have four production lines per plant, to allow either large amounts of one single model, or multiples to be turned out. I ask that at a minimum, Illiorian Arms be allowed to build a factory that can handle 2 production lines ((OOC: That's considered to be quite big by RL standards, but I don't know what your definition of large is)) to allow for a more economic layout.

As this will be the first decentralized IA factory, I'd guess specifically pertaining to the aircraft portion of our buisness, and as we have most, if not all our resources based off of Glasgen Island, the factory itself would need to be near a port, and would probably be best on a coastline with its own private docks for IA ships to bring in the necessary materials to complete orders. Hopefully an expedited customs process can be agreed to, to allow for the materials to be moved into the factory at once.

Also, I need to know whether this factory will be for a single model of aircraft, or multiple, so I can already alot the necessary transfers and hirings as soon as possible, and send the ministry of public works the requirements for the Vrakian works the necessary requirements for Non-Illiorian citizen workers. If it would be manageable, it would be best to have the workers found soon, and sent to Illior, to make sure that all the necessary training and other requirements are up to date. Also, I doubt this will be a problem, but what is the minimum wage law in Vrak? We normally don't pay minimum wage to our skilled laborers, and the best tend to make quite a bit.

My final question is whether this factory will be producing for solely the Vrakian military, the nation of Vrak (this includes non-military aircraft), or also for international export and non-military aircraft ((those will soon be added onto the catalog, but a preview of them is in the SAM Line))?

Firstly, in order to streamline communication and minimize any confusion, please address future correspondence to the above office.

Secondly, we are sure we can set aside as much land as possible for up to four production lines. Since the main purchaser would be the Vrakian military, we hope this is sufficient. However, there does exist the possibility of markets within the Klatch itself so it may be possible to sell your products to other Klatchian states. For that endeavour, we recommend partnering with a prominent Vrakian media company to make this effective. (ooc: such as signing up onto our forums and starting a thread. I think it would be okay. In fact, you could very well be the very first one hawking your good to the Klatch! Think of the honour!)

Most of our major cities are port cities so locating one that can suit your needs should be possible. As for materials, you may find that Vrak has a highly sophisticated metallurgy industry and might be able to provide the necessary materials needed in order to reduce your costs. Regarding customs and immigration, we also do not forsee a problem, since the granting of a royal charter to your company would likely be expedited. All foreign companies in Vrak do require this type of documentation, but it is merely a formality in most cases.

Vrak does not have minimum wage laws, but we certainly hope that workers that you employ can make a decent living accoding to our cost of living index. In regards to finding such skilled help, when this is concluded, recruitment efforts can be first made through the major Vrakian companies such as Power Aeronautics, Hyperion Aeronautics, Icarus Aircraft, and Valkyrie Aircraft. We should add that the aforementioned companies have world-class research and development facilities as well.

As well, if this venture becomes profitable for both of us, we can see a further expansion of your factories in Vrak.

It all sounds good to me. The paperwork's already going through over here, and I'm sending over a team as soon as possible to get actual land and other aeronautics companies in Vrak, and the other necessary suppliers, and builders. The possibility of being the Klatch's Major provider of Aircraft is another lucrative bonus. And don't worry about the worker's being paid, they will all be compensated for their ability and their workings.

As for the Four lined factory, it sounds great, and in the future, Vrak could be the home of an 8 or 16 lined factory, as glasgen Island is almost at capacity with Illiorian Arms factories and compounds.

The Imperial Air Force recently deemed our offensive and defensive capabilities adequate to deal with any forseeable force, both foreign and domestic. Adequate, however, is sub-par to our goals. As a result, we come to Illiorian Arms today seeking to purchase the following:

-120 ISF-24 Daelkyr UCAVs
-60 AS-34 Guardian Angel UCAVs

We are to begin testing them in preparation of a new program seeking a UCAV fighter which has the capability to perform on a similar level to a manned fighter while maintaining the safety and security of an unmanned aircraft. If our tests succeed, then many more orders for these craft will be placed, in hopes of propelling our forces into the future with cutting edge technology such as this.


In addition, we would like to inquire if DPR for the IAL-4 series (all variants included) would be acquireable, for the ICAF is currently searching for replacements for our aging fleets of transport aircraft. If an agreement can be reached, please let us know.
