OK now with the way the war is between Israel and Lebanon the situation is a soft one. Syria not likely to enter means no further countries entering in the most likely scenario. Well in the RP world we just can't have that can we. Now as insignificant as Syria would be in the war their allies could have a major ripple effect. If Syria joined in fully on the Lebanese side that MAY spark Iran to join in which MAY spark China which MAY spark in Russia and France and USA and every other damn country. All that escalading in RL is unlikely but what the hell in Role Playing it is very possible. So we could start with Lebanon Israel Syria and the uSA. The USA being israel's bitch and watching the war. Syria jumps in which sparks in Iran and potentially China if the US get's in the thick of it. That could make the Koreas fight which would bring Japan in and Russia and Mongolia and France and Britain. Thus the spark of WW3. Now my plan is to RP this all in any open form where events can unfold as we choose. There will be no set script to RP by we just let it unravel. Now Anyone like the idea or have criticism lemme know and if you wish to sign up I have a small list developing till further notice.

Actually, I think Iran would join first. Mainly because Israel just killed a convoy of Iranian troops a couple of days ago. Of course they said it was an "accident". Just like the UN Peacekeeper incident.

CRITICSM: I think you should make the other nations playable now, it gives potential RPers the view that their favorite nation will get involved, unfortunantly as much as I'd like to play I just don't know that much about any nation apart from the Netherlands.

Could I use Germany?

and to who ever is going to play as China, your strategy is already mostly planned out. The book is called "A Treatise on Unrestricted Warfare." If you want, I can link you to it.
