Born in the ashes of WWI France and Britain, looking for a easy way to keep Germany under bonds formed the country of Bradenburg. With bits and pieces of nations which France and Britain chose without a thought included Pomerania, Bradenburg, Russian Kalingrad, Eastern Prussia, and most of northern Prussia. With that they hoped the war to end all wars would finally have a reason to it's name.

As most countries go it's the far right which usually handle the wars the best, why? Who knows, but with a nation forged out of war it should come to no surprise, well at least to the people who accept that belief, that Brandenburg is almost wholly compromised of right and far-right parties. Even the most "liberal" parties would be hard pressed to be not classified as "Centrist~s" or even just "Rightist~s" in other countries.
Brandenburg uses a hodgepodge that it claims to be its political structure. Obviously it needed to greatly reflect Britain and France’s political structure, miming is the best type of flattery, yet Brandenburg still admired the USA's way of doing it even more. So out came this type of political system in which in all ways the names of US systems were denoted more British and French terms.
Basically the Bradenburgen system has three equal branches which afford each other limits and freedoms. As the US system there is the Executive Branch, in US case called the President, in Brandenburg given the title of Chancellor. That then makes the Executive Branch firmly in charge of foreign affairs as a hybrid of Secretary of State and President. The Chancellor appoints Justices, can veto laws, propose laws, dictate foreign policy and appoint cabinet members.
The second branch, Judicial, is called in the US the Supreme Court. In Brandenburg it is the High Courts. They dictate if newly made laws abide by the Brandenburg Constitution (more later on it) and settle most high stakes court battles (which is almost like making a rule unto itself). The Chancellor appoints this "Court Justices" which have 13 (For Brandenburg) in all. These Justices stand as 10 men, 3 women, 9 "Right~s, 2 "Centrist~s" , one independent, and one "Leftist".
The third is the Legislative Branch is alike to both European and American styles. A parliament governed by the Vice President, given the name Chief of Parliament, it has 2 levels in it. Congressional and Senatorial, Congressional being determined by the POP of the states and Senatorial which disregards POP and just lets each state contribute 2. The difference between the Senate and the Congress is that the Congress votes on local legislature while the Senate focuses more on broader, nation wide issues. Both houses are needed to veto, a needed 3/4th majority, laws which the Chancellor proposes and can force a law through if with a unanimous vote. The Congress holds 100 Congressmen and the Senate holds 25 Senators.
Elections are held every 4 years for the Legislative Branch. Yet there is an election every two years, going Congressional-Senatorial-Congressional then vice-versa, with an slight advantage to the Chancellor who had the fewest Senatorial elections. While the Chancellor has the position for 6 years before elections start up. [except the Justices who are appointed for a lifetime by the Chancellor].
