Oil for Weapons!

The Sinai Peninsula
08-08-2006, 05:19
The Government of the Sinai Peninsula would like to open negotiations on the sale of its oil for weapons, weapons systems, weapons technology, advisers, and building contracts. Our current production stands at 250,000 barrels of oil per day. However, off-shore ventures and a new pipeline ought to increase that number significantly in the near future (hopefully to 750,000). We are not interested in WMDs or WMD systems as we are bound by international treaties not to possess any such weapons or weapons systems. Of particular interest are the following:

-Armored Personnel Carriers
-Armored Fighting Vehicles
-Heavy Artillery Pieces
-Shoulder-Mounted Anti-Armor
-Shoulder-Mounted Anti-Air
-Large Scale Anti-Air Systems
-Armored Combat Engineering Vehicles
-Combat Helicopters
-Personnel Helicopters
-Light Patrol Boats
-Weapons Systems Advisers
-Contracts for Construction of Air Bases on Sinai Soil
-Radar Systems
-Fighter Jets and Supporting Systems
-Sonar Systems

At this time, the government will not discriminate against any particular models, although it should be noted that we are in good supply of small arms. The rights to station troops on Sinai soil is also negotiable, if any supplier should not have much interest in our oil supplies.

The Bonstocknian Air Force has several thousand JAS-39 Gripen fighter aircraft that it would be willing to sell for oil. They have been well used but will continue to provide service for many years to come. We are willing to sell up to two-thousand of them for 10 million USD a piece, which would mean approximately 200,000 barrels of oil a piece, depending on your value. You may purchase whatever quantity of them you like.

We will also be willing to, in lieu of immidiate payment, accept an agreement whereby your country would provide ours with a specified amount of oil a day until the debt is repayed, with a slight interest of course.

Bonstock would also be willing to construct several airbases and other facilities in your country. In fact, we would be perfectly willing to build them for free, provided that half of the space be used for Bonstocknian forces, who of course would contribute to your local economy in other ways.

Please reply with your offer.

The Sinai Peninsula will purchase 100 JAS-39 Gripen fighters at for 50,000 barrels a day for 400 days if that proposal is acceptable to the supplier. The Oil Ministry and War Ministry are sonsidering the deal for the AFV. We will accept Bonstock's offer for a jointly controlled Air Force Base provided we will dictate its placement within the country.

The UK would be interested in selling off a number of its retired reserve Centurion, Conquerer, and Chieftain MBTs. Two hundred of each were mothballed several years ago and recently were used to train cadets, reserves, and militia. The Chieftains are in decent shape with ERA and 120mm guns, although the Centurions and Conquerers still have their respective old armaments. They are, however, also in decent shape. In addition, we have 11,000 surplus L1A1 SLRs (license built British FN FALS) that can be sold with ten 20 round magazines each. The 7.62x54mm NATO round is easy to produce, although we can produce more for you in exchange for oil or money if neccessary. Furthermore, we can also ship you 600 surplus Milan ATGMs with eight missiles each.

If the deal is affirmed, we would like to hear what you would pay for this equipment. If we agree to your terms the equipment will be shipped via chartered vessels from Questarian Port Said.

In addition we can also fly you 8 surplus black hawk helicopters from RAF Tel Aviv. The UK would also like to base a unit of three hundred Royal Marines and a hundred attached Engineers to a base in the Sinai, along with an artillery detachment and a small airstrip that can operate Chinooks and C105s.

The UK hopes to have further good relations with The Sinai Peninsula.

The Wolfenslander Heer has several Leopard 2A6 MBTs for sale, as they are being replaced by an indigenous design more adequate to our climate and terrain. These MBTs have never been used in combat, and are in like-new condition. The price is negotiable. Let us know if you are interested.

We are also developing a new family of highly capable light combat aircraft, ranging from fighters to attack and training aircraft, if you could wait a couple of days we may come up with a very good offer for your air forces.

The UK does not see it fit at this moment to recognises the Sinai Peninsula's claim to the Suez Canal, considering it is occupied by 4th and 8th Africa Division of the Questarian Colonial Army and elements of the Mediteranean Royal Navy Squadron. However, we accept your oil deal and shipping of arms will begin next month.
