Parliamentary meeting 1st december 1991

The day of reckoning was quickly approaching the Boer Regime in Capetown. The senate was in pandemonium between politicians who were for pro reconcilliation and those against it. ( the politicians against it however wre increasingly marginalised as adaptation and compromise seemed to be the only way to get the nation out of its perpetual isolation and sheer anarchy.)

"The nation has become an international pariah" The president addressed parliament to an atmosphere of silence and discontent.

he carried on....

"and we will continue to be so untill the consequences will eventually catch up with our actions"

the president was interupted by an impetous conservative back bench m.p.

"are you insinuating that the boer state is nothing but a confluence of lechery and hatred?" The m.p. questioned....

with that a cacophony of anger emanated from mainly the conservative opposition. however some of the ruling liberal members where also disconcerted by the presidents statement.

(Jake Little since coming to power had given little of his secret agenda away to his parliament. only his inner circle was to be trusted with his plans for the country.)

It took a full ten minutes for the brazen noise to die down despite several attempts by the speaker of the house to quell the reciprocating barrages of accusations and abuse thrown from one parliamentarian to another.

Finally the noise died down and a dozen politicians were escorted away from parliament by security.

The president finally spoke again.

"must i speak to an empty house?" he was angered by the many of the politicians audaciously ignoring the status and poor economic stabilty of the country (thanks to international sanctions) for the sake of pride in their countrys Imperous colonial values.

Robbens Island 4 hours later

Tsalo Tutu (deputy of the South african liberation front and close friend of Telek BiBi) slowly rose from his prison cell to be awoken by joyous noises from his adjoining cell. apparently one of the cell mates overheard a prison guard muttering his disdain over the Presidents public proclamation that the nation should embrace reconicilliation and put all ethnicities on equal terms.

Tsalo knew this was inevitable. if this didnt happen the economy would most likely collapse and the country would slide into a cataclysmic civil war on ethnic sectarian lines. The white afrikaans had the weapons but the blacks had the manpower and determination.

He looked out of his cell window and saw a symbolic rainbow over the city of Cape town....

Broderbund headquarters, Outskirts of Pretoria (these guys where as bad as the ku klux klan and also they were legitimate in the bad ol days of South Africa)

This was unacceptable....... Hans beaur (The new leader of the white supremicist group) thought. He paced around his ornate study that was decorated with Boer pharaphenellia and Trophy animals. not a single facist curio/ object was in sight. on first glance a visitor would not assume that this sprawling ranch outside pretoria would house the mastermind of this terrible "legitimate" organisation.

"Drastic action needs to be taken. we have survived one hundred years with our system and we will survive a hundred more." he adressed the small gathering of party members who remained loyal to the dying movement.

Namibian/ South African border.

(anyones invited to r.p. reistance in namibia if they want)

The state of namibia has been in South Africas sphere of influence for a while the head of a covert broderbund special ops group thought to himself.

Our leaders specific commands were beautiful in its sheer simplicity. to Manipulate the Ruling people to keep its hold on power by faking a Joint Invasion by namibia and Lesotho and Swaziland.

The Idea was to Give the Afrikaans people the assumption that if they relinquished total power to the "masses" they would be persecution and genocide. And would make Namibia the perpitrator to the downfall of Boer civilisation.

Therefore under the pretext of protecting their rights to exist in their own motherland the South African army will invade namibia and the other "perpitraing" states and obtain new resources and motivation to continue their regime....

after that final thought. the Leader of the covert platoon and his squadron of disguised namibian soldiers began firing across the relatively unguarded border heading for the tiny south african border settlement of springbok......

Presidents office 6 hours later

The president was calmly working on his reform legislation he is proposing to parliament when suddenly a panicky aid burst through the door trailed by two presidential guard of honour.

"What is the meaning of this?" President little demanded imperiously.

"sir i would not disturb you unless this is of the utmost importance" the aid stuttered.

"well out with it man!!!" the president demanded.

"namibia has invaded our territory, our defence forces crushed the unprovoked attack with relative ease. they only sent a squadron of elite guards" the aide carried on " we believe they were a reconnaissance team to test our defences in the region. we believe they are trying to undermine our system."

The president briefly laughed... then replied "son im trying to undermine our system, and I believe this attack was fabricated by some renegade militant arm most likely broderbund..."

The aide went white

"we didnt have a retalitory incursion without my authority did we?" the president fumed.

"the public wanted blood sir our forces have crossed Namibias border now we are amassing 40,000 troops to take namibias weak army out but this will take weeks however....."

The president heard enough. he marched to the prime ministers office. That oficious little bastard. The president thought to himself. "if he made president it would be the end of our nation as we know it".

he was was going to arrest Prime minister van der meer on grounds of Treachery to the state....

Namibian, Lesothen and Swazi border regions approx same time

[SIZE="3"]Namibian border region 75km south of Luderitz

five small retalitory armoured infantry divisions moved up the desolate skeleton coast meeting sporadic resistance from tribal nomads. presumably no counter strike by the namibian army has been activated yet.

The south african airforce sent a battle group of 10 migs and 2 bombers to procure the immediate border vacinity of namibia.

The immediate area was seized two hours after namibias "attack" on south africa.

Casualities were minor. no namibian or south african loss of life. two south african soldiers injured by random gunfire by nomads.

Swazi and Lesotho border regions

At the same time artillery fire blasted the Lesotho border provinces and rocketfire reached Mbabane the Capital of Swaziland.

due to the covert operations by Broderbund. the Swazi and Lesothen authorities were caught totally offguard. Resistance was brutally quashed by clinical airstrikes. Lesothos meagre airforce was effectively destroyed in one lighting quick air raid by two bombers.

Swaziland unfortunaly didnt have an airforce so to speak... Mbabane was hit by Mobile SAM units operating on the border...

About 50,000 infantry and airforce personelle were involved in these raids on three countries with a total of about 200,000 logistical personelle out of south Africas. 1 million strong national army.
(Remember other ethnicities were allowed into the armed forces and were allowed to live with whites)

Casualties: South Africa lost 3 Mig fighter planes and two fighter pilots during the the air raids over Lesotho due to flak fire from the capital Maseuru.

Sporadic retalitory rocket fire launched form swaziland killing 5 logistical personelle operating in a border village.

Meanwhile in the Prime ministers office.

The President burst in to Van der meers office and was about to spontaneosly combust with rage untill the Prime minister stopped im in his tracks by audaciously gesturing him to silence.

President Little was slightly bemused by the Prime ministers actions so let the Prime minister speak.

" you seem slightly shocked my president" Van der Meer smiled sardonically

"that wouldnt describe it" Jake Little spat Venemously back

"well I will get to the point. You may not like what Im going to say it since parliament voted in no confidence to Eject you from your office".

This Hit the President like a freight train. "what? one third of the parliamentarians were ejected from parliament only my Liberals and reformists who wanted reconcilliation were left"

Van der meer grinned again and went on. " no quite my ex president, One half of your reformists were bribed or intimidated not to come in for the parliament session and we replaced them with the...."

The president went a shade of pale....

"no you fucking son of a whore, not the White supremicist Broderbund!!, you will be the end of us all!!!!" Then the president in a suprising move lunged for the pistol holder on one of the presidential guardsmen.

Jack succeeded and aimed at van der Meer.... Van der Meer looked at the president in terror and begged for mercy...

However before a shot was fired one of the guardsmen grappled for the gun and the shot fired through the window.

Van der Meer regained his composure and then lecherously grinned again. he said to the perpitrating guardsmen "good to see we have fresh talent for Broderbund"

"take the President away.... hmmm ah yes to Robbens Island"

with that Jake Little was dragged away staring Vehemtly at the facist Van der meer.....

(as Ive stated before if someone wants to R.p. namibia. they can. so this wont be one sided or "god modding")

One week later Namibian consolidated border region.

General Armitz Bergen looked worringly at the state newspaper over the article that stated the presidents attempt to assasinate prime minister Van der meer.

The General was sad. he had high hopes for President Jake Little.. he hoped he could reconcilliate between white and black over their conflicts of Interest.

Armitz was a moderate that wanted reform and didnt agree fully with the regimes policies of Limited voting rights for ethnicities of different colour.

He included Several blacks in his army command. he respected the Zulu as they were tenacious and vociferous warriors.

Nevertheless he believed that reform was not going to brought about by Invasion that Namibia perpitrated and would only strengthen the minorities resolve to cling on to power at any cost.

He then reluctantly ordered 15,000 Infantrymen and five armoured divisions to move in on Luderitz......

The Battle for Luderitz and the Road to Walvis BAAI

Luderitz defence capabilities were underestimated by the Invading south African defense forces as two battalions entering the outskirts of the city quickly found out...

Namibia now was well aware of South Africas Pre emptive strike on their country and put special defensive emphasis on the Major port cities of Luderitz and the crucially Important Walvis BAAI If they both fell Windhoek would fall in a week. as they were the major supply arteries for the nation.

The Invading army for Luderitz consisted of: 10,000 Infantry, 2,500 Armoured Infantry, and 100 tanks. The logistical personelle were (I think its a 5 to 1 ratio for infantry) close to 100,000.

Namibias limited Defense force consisted of 3,400 fully armed soldiers and an estimated adequatley armed 15,000 national militia. There are lots more lightly and very poorly armed militiamen defending the city.

The first day Of invasion South African Troops reached an Impasse as The city was Nearly evacuated and rife with snipers that allready claimed the lives of 15 Infantrymen. The generals realised that the city was not completely evacuated as Namibians did not want the South African airforce Involved. if they did so their would be Insurmountable Civilian casualties.

This however did not prevent several bombing raids in the mid afternoon that struck several key buildings that according to Reconnaisance teams held several key leaders of the namibian defense forces of Luderitz.

However one strike was found to miss target completely and hit a primary school that was still attended. (this stuff happens in war not every strike is clinicle  )

The second day Armoured Infantry very slowly moved into the cities inner suburbs hindered by hastily set up explosive traps. including one that was by an ambulance that soldiers thought needed to get civilians to hospital instead it drove straight towards an armoured tank that both killed the occupants of the tank and the driver of the ambulance...

By mid afternoon on the second day the Casualties on The South African side were adding up... 70 Infantry and two tanks were destroyed. aswell as 20 logistical personelle operating in the area.

However The White minority in Luderitz saw the opportunity to help the Invading South African army and gave vital Information on the positioning of ambushes by Namibian forces and the armaments of the Elite guards in the center of the city.

Most of the whites we evacuated as the Namibians realised they would most likely defect as the few who stayed helped the Invading army Immensely.

By the third day South African forces were begining to make better ground as the Infantry divisions made a push for the Central business district of the City. The forces defending the area had unexpectedly worser armaments than predicted and the small armoured trucks were cut down by R.P.G and mortar fire. around 125 Namibian militia men were slaughtered.

South African forces still retained heavy losses by sniper fire but thanks to Schematics received by Defecting White citizens of Luderitz. key resisting buildings were obilberated by frequent bombing raids and The resistance movements logisitcal support was effectively cut off from the outside by South African Military Jamming signals that cut of communication links to namibias outside military.

By the Fourth day the South African Military reached the Central business district and upon realizing the situation was Untenable most of the resistance either fled the city of surrendered. The city was taken.

Food and material to help rebuild the city were transported in by Military convoy.

Overall Casualties for Luderitz

South Africa: 859 Infantry men killed, 250 Logisitcs personnelle killed and 7 tanks destroyed

Namibia: 5,000 Militia men killed, 2560 Army and Infantry men killed, 400 Civilians killed.

Two weeks later, Robbens Island

"Rather symbolic dont you think?" Prisoner 1029 Jack Little mentioned to Neighbouring Inmate Tsalo Tutu has they chipped away at rocks working with the other Inmates in the hard labour yard.

"oh Contrare" Tsalo mused "half the prisoners in the penitentiary are now white political prisoners, Id say we are on equal footing"

Jack Laughed. then he was met with the back of a South African made assault gun by one of the prison guards.

"I hope you learned your lesson mr president" "your authority doesnt mean shit here". the Guard drawled in his Heavy south african english accent.

"we have almost overun Namibia and we have consolidated the darkie nations of lesotho and Swaziland for even trying to invade us, they are ours now"
The guard scoffed.

"now dont fratenise with any more darkies will you mr president, you have practically slept with all fifty million of them" with that comment a group of guards laughed

Jake little upon hearing this spat in the Guards face. "To think we liberated our country from britain only to be fulled up with racist bigots like you"

The Guard then proceeded to beat the President with his rifle... Afterwards told his subordinates to put him in solitary confinement.

(this is an r.p. for the record i aint racist:) )

Swaziland and Lesotho 1 week later

The two countrys were new fully annexed into the republic. Resistance was sporadic with the underequipped defence forces of Swaziland and Lesotho. Aids was also a contributing factor to the quick downfall of the two soveirgn nations. The epidemic was so bad it had a profound effect on atleast a third of their armed forces. who were too sick to fight.

South Africa also isolated the Two nations from any Importation of food and military supplies.

Mbabanes Little defences were overwhelmed despite the general populations dogged and vehement efforts that resulted in the deaths of 120 south African troops. Swaziland was taken in little over three days and Lesotho was bombed into submission in 4 days (the high plateau the small nation is based on made it hard for Infantry to land.) so Troops had to be flown in by dropship.

by lunchtime Infantry were marching through both capitals.....

The Namibian Plan. 6 days later

During the past seven days South African forces moved up the barely populated Skeleton coast of namibia meeting little to no resistance untill Waalvis BAAI and Swakopmund.

Meanwhile Namibian president Okongo knew what instigated this war...

He told his panicked parliament that this was a desperate ploy by the Broderbund to Maintain the status quo for the ruling white minority. And he felt that The relatively unpopular Jans van der meers acsension to power was rather dubious at best.

He was calm however. Hed had a plan. His military was no match for The might of South Africa and his country would be totally overun in a week but he had a secret counterplan... he hoped to god it worked........

Indignation

Is there no pleasing these people? Jans Van der meer thought out allowed. His Inaugration ceremony was only met with mild applause and his military campaign in the Namibian and Swaziland and Lesotho was critised for excessive use of force...

some people caught on to Jans Bluff and Knew that a minnow like Namibia wouldnt dare invade their country unless a foreign power intervened.

"shit" he said "fucking Jack was right, we have to compromise"

"Van der meer you are forgetting yourself this is not what we stand for?" the mysterious leader of the Broderbund scolded him...

"if they had their way we would be a destitute people without a homeland" he said angrily "we would have to immigrate to other countries who have depised our country for years... where would we be then eh???"

"no we will hold steady, declare a state of emergency"

Jans reluctantly did so.....

Namibias Coup de Grace 12:00am

The Small fishing vessel approached Robbens Island slowly. The spotlight from one of the penitentiarys spotlights focused on the small ship. "state your purpose or leave" the Guard shouted into the megaphone.

"we are the supply ship suh" we have your women the warden specifically requested.

The warden had a secret fetish for dark women. If anyone on the outside knew about this he would certainly lose his job. only a handful of guards knew about this and they knew the consequences would have far reaching effects on them also so they kept quite.

"ok" they guard said non chantely "you may enter but be quick! leave them at the wardens door. you know the drill."

no guard would follow the women into the wardens office. if they killed him he wouldnt report that they occaisionally had a bit of a fling with the ladies...

The four "women" entered the Imposing Gate from the Fishing vessel and quickly entered the Wardens office without any interruption.

There was a knock on the wardens door. The Fat burly warden recognised the special designated tap on the door so no other Person on the penitentiary knew his awful secret.

"come in" he said in a gruff voice.

As soon as the door was opened The Namibian secret agents went to work.... "Wha..." replied the warden as he realized his mistake as the women were very thin african men in drag..... not the usual "shipment"

he tried to reach the alarm but was slit from ear to ear by the lightening reflexes of one of the Namibian agents. They then pressed the Jail release master button and said the word on the Penitentiarys megaphone "amandla"

Tsalo was sleeping in his jail cell when he heard the automated Jail doors open and Amandla was being said on the megaphone. his comrades knew also..... The Time was now..........

There was a deluge of orange pouring out of the jail cells as the Word Amandla was being repeated on the prison radio. "we will help you get to the mainland" the agents said to the flood

The poor prison guards never had a chance. they were too bewildered by the hated freedom chant and how revolutionaries could penetrate the maximum security prison . a few guards were killed instantly in the vicous stampede to get out of the building. The guard who taunted president little wet his pants and cried out "shit" as he was in the trajactory of the vicious path of destruction the Inmates were creating. They suddenly recognised the guard.... The guard whimpered "amandla?" before getting rushed......

The agents burst into the solitary confinement area shooting two resisting guards and freed President Little. he smiled when he saw the Agents.

"Ah president Okvongos plan worked then" Jake said. The agent mearly nodded as they ran to join up with the Inmates...

Jake had a meeting with the President of Namibia a few Months ago and told him he was going to dismantle his regime and create democracy... he also warned the President that Rouge elements where active in South Africa that did not want change and had Intentions to Destabilise the region to keep the status quo.

A secret South african agent posed as a guard and learned the wardens fetish. and this information was then relayed to President Littles government. and a plan of action was formed with Namibia incase Jake was toppled by a military coup.

The Key Inmates where rushed to the Fishing boat... This included Tsalo Tutu and Jake Little aswell as several other key resistance leaders.

"Its time to end this now" Tsalo said. The Silence that followed agreed.... as the fishing vessel moved towards the City of Cape Town....

David beats Golliath

Meanwhile Jans van der meer looked gloomily out the presidential office... The end was in sight... his Tenous grip on power slipped. The military command was overruning Namibia without a clear goal now that they believed Jans fabricated the story that Namibia Launched An incursion first.

The story was released on National radio at about 1:00am this morning and reached all outposts including The military operations in Namibia. It was the voice of Jake little and Beloved Resistance leader Tsalo Tutu. How they escaped from Robbens Island Jan will never know....

General Armitz bergin called an Immediate ceasefire in Namibia in absolute digust with his government over its actions to an Unprovokative Namibia. "Thousands of people have died for Van der Meer" the president spat out to his troops and this was translated to Namibian as he stood on a tank on the outskirts of Windhoek. "for what? to protect our vile and repugnant regime" "so help me god i will help rebuild namibia with my bare hands, i will also see Jan Van der Meer and the the Broderbund leaders hanged". Bergin shouted vehemently into the Megaphone.

With that The south African troops lay down their guns and in a symbolic gesture surrendered to what was left of Namibian defences..... this was broadcast internationally as white rule institutes that took a 100 years to create were brought down in a matter of hours nationally.

White only libraries were opened in all the Major south African cities and Black and white shook hands and hugged and danced in the street.

Police forces were overwhelemd nationally. and a pathetic attempt to control the celebrations in Pretoria was quickly quashed.

Solidarity united all ethnicites for once over sheer hatred of their leadership. The Broderbund government soon collapsed.

Van der meer rushed in a panic out of the presidential office towards his helipad as he heard the door of the Presidential house being kicked in by police.

as soon he was in the helicopter he was relieved... "anywhere but here james he joked arkwardly to the helicopter pilot".

The helicopter pilot nodded but as soon as the presidential helicopter was up in the air it landed by the Capetown police station right infront of the International spotlight and Jake Little......

Unification.....

Jack little and Tsalo Tutu sat on the porch of Littles Presidential palace where the president symbolically served Tsalo tea. You like yours white right? he mentioned to Tsalo. "yes" tsalo replied.

"I prefer black myself" the president chuckled.

"The nation will have to go through a painful rebirth" the President said infront of a nearly a million people who crowded into capetown for the miracolous rebirth of a nation freed after nearly 100 years of oppression and tyranny...

"seeing as Namibia defeated our forces by default" the President charismatically smiled "we will have to politely ask for Independence" .

President okvongo was also at the ceremony and shook hands with the president and issued a statement of forgiveness on behalf of the namibian people.

The following years South africa suffered immense adversity which included the growing Aids apedemic and the new Disporia of the White ruling classes who suddenly had to share job opportunities with other ethnic groups..

As a form of gratitude South Africa invited Namibia and Swaziland and lesotho into a loose confederation which entailed that all members will retain autonomy but will have a common president and monetary unit aswell as a defense force.

To combat aids and to rebuild their national Infrastructure all three states accepted albeit with some reluctance.

despite all these obstacles the future looks brighter for South Africa...

(sorry if the ending was a bit lacklustre but im tired i need sleep.)
