GNN(Gunkoku National News) Report: Aug 7th
At 3:20pm today, Gunkoku's military forces advanced into Bushijatagi occupying the southern Region. at least 10-20 civilians and soldiers were killed, Gunkoku has so far not reported any deaths. Reasons for the invasion have yet to be determined and goverment officials are not commenting.

An Anti Aggression pact will allow us to deal with GunGooku, but I am in no desire to liberate the nation, I plan on taking both in one fell swoop, concessions can be discussed later if you may personally between us.

Consul Akagi had this to say in an adress to the people:

In response to the intensifying situation in Bushijatagi, the Ontarium government sent out two dispatches-

One to Gunkoku-

"The People's Republic of Ontarium severely condemns your un-provoked invasion of Bushijatagi, and wishes to inform you that as of this moment, Ontarium will guarantee Bushijatagi independence from your iron-fisted regime .
We have also heard tell that both Neo-Erusea and Gyrobot have also directly intervened in your crude conquest, you may wish to reconsider the logic of this war altogether...

"How can Gunkoku call the nation's assiting Bushijatagi terrorist if he has no reason for invading a neighboring country!" He put the intel down on the table and thought for second. "Were going to help no matter what but I'm afraid to send military forces considering the other shit thats going on right now namely Undershi."He then took a deep breath and shook his head. I announce a state of war between The Liberal Democratic Republic and Gunkoku. The 3rd Fleet and 750,000 troops with support have been deployed to aid Bushijatagi aganist this threat.

Seeing that Gunkoku was outnumbered and outguned, the NE dictator, David Mondol, decided to send a message before the fighting began. It was a last ditch attempt to prevent war.

"Attention Gunkoku. This is your final warning. Surrender. Pull out of Bushijatagi, dispose of your military, and hand over your top governemt officials. Failure to comply will result in the said conditions through military force by the allied armies. Reply ASAP or face your destruction."

Consul Akagi: Gunkoku si willing to negotiate a withdrawl of Bushijatagi, on these conditions
1. all nations will withdraw from the territory
2. Gunkoku will pay for all damages
3. Bushijatagi will surrender the southern region
4. All goverment officials shall be pardoned

A cool, maritime wind sifted it's way through the old back-alleys and streets of the old coastal town, though none of the residents paid heed to the gust, as their attention was occupied solely on one thing...

The long column of soldiers moving down towards the harbour.

Many had gone out into the city streets, cheering and waving miniature versions of the Ontarii Order (The Ontarium flag), all enthusiastic of the prospect of 'Defending Democracy' and 'The Crusade against Tyranny'. Though, to tell the truth, this was the first 'War' The People's Republic had been involved in (Discunting the civil war that founded the nation), hense the comparably smaller expeditionary force as opposed to the other, more powerful allied nations. Nonetheless, the Ontarii soldiers would fight tooth and nail side-by-side her allies in this war.

Official response from Phoenixius High Council to Gunkoku

If your troops have indeed been recalled from southern Bushijatagi, then we are willing to talk. We will issue you our demands for this heinous act you have committed:

1. Your military is limited to 10,000 men, 300 ground vehicles, 1,000 aircraft and 50 naval vessels.
2. You allow a military presence from the following nations: Phoenixius, Gyrobot, Neo-Erusea, Brydog, Ustia, Ontarium
3. You will pay Bushijatagi $10bil in repayments
4. Your government will be under constant survelliance to prevent further dealings such as this.

These are non-negotiable demands. Further points may be added after prolonged talks between you and the nations listed in point 2. Attacks to you from these nations will be halted.


Official Message to other nations

Gunkoku is willing to talk. We have sent some demands already (see attatched file), and have allowed the option for you to add your own demands. I insist that you halt any further military action against Gunkoku, until such time as they break the demands, or fail to accept them initially.

Official Statement of Gyrobot

Why should we disarm when we can teach him a lesson, cleanse his nation whole and all of its citizens become batteries for a new machine we have developing called the Bartool. Destroying the nation seems to be an easier option.

The thunderous roar of yet another Archimedes troop transport touching down at the airstrip went widely ignored by the mass of soldiers who were busily working on turning the airport in the south of Bushijatagi into a headquarters for operations in the region.

In respect for the statement repleased Phoenixius officials, the main objective had changed from charging into Gunkoku in a full-on blitzkrieg to securing and fortifying the southern border to make sure Gunkoku wasn't just biding it's time and waiting for the allies to 'Pack up and leave'.

Def. Min. Yukikaze:
The state officials are unwilling to weaken our military forces due to the hostilities of the region.

Air Marshal Oshio: We the people of Gunkoku, will not tolerate the demands of Phoenixius. They are unfare, considering there were only minor damages to Bushijatagi. Further more our airforce is one of the most highly trained, and is the pride of the nation. I demand that the state negotiate in such a way that our nation is not crippled. In deference to the illadvised response of Gunkoku, the Phoenixius High Council recinds their earlier statement as stated in that message. The 10th and 11th Projection Fleets are being redirected to Gunkoku territorial waters in preparation for bombardment of coastal defences. Due to the irregularly high concentration of aircraft in Gunkoku's military, round the clock air patrols will be ordered, along with permament AA standby.



Official Phoenixius High Council message

We are now acting under a war situation. Gunkoku would rather face his nation being layed to waste than make some small concesions. We regard this as a failure of diplomacy, and though we would rather not, we are sending our fleets to Gunkoku. We ask that the other nations present in this action lend their aid to us - our previous statement has been rendered null and void by the Gunkoku governments response. We are sorry to say this by Gyrobot seems to have a good idea of the Gunkoku mind, and therefore had the right idea all along.

God save our troops, and lay waste to the enemies!

Gyrobot Tanks were way ahead of every other army when the invasion of Gungoku began. Gyrobot had planned to attack them anyway, as the last couple of units reached the border, the commander view the border. Waved his hand and ordered the Gyrobot Artillery guns to fire....

Field Marshal Wong, the man in charge of the Ontarii forces in this camapaign, Upon hearing the statement made by the Phoenixius government, and reassured byt the impending naval camapaign in Gunkoku waters, quickly got to work on an invasion plan, codenamed: 'BISMARK'.


Four hours later, less than twenty minutes after Gyrobot began shelling Gunkoku positions, approximately 647 bombers and fighter aircraft soared over the border . Fifteen minutes into the country, the group divided into two groups, 'Franco' and 'Prussia'.

Fifteen minutes later, a single broadcast was given out by high command:

"Bismark! Bismark! Bismark!"


And, just like that, hell had been unleashed. heavy bombers clouded over major industrial sectors and highways of northern cities, carpet-bombing them to rubble, as fighter escorts engaged any hostile aircraft that dared attempt to intercept them. These mass bombings were supported by hit-and-run missions performed by small air-to-ground strike craft on communication relays, disrupting the ability of Gunkoku to coordinate an effective defense.

Of course, AA batteries did manage to knock quite a few birds out of the sky, but by the end of it all, the air forces had achieved all of their objectives- the Decapitation of northern Gunkoku.


With the airforce already fulfillig their part in the operation, the ground forces surged southward, peparing to sweep away the disorganised hordes while they were still in shock.

Alerted by Gunkoku's decline from Pheonixius' terms, David Mondol gave the order to invade Gunkoku and liberate Bushijitagi.

Unfortanately, since Gunkoku has refused the terms granted by the Armed Republic of Neo-Erusea and its allies, we have no choice but to resort to a declaration of war. As of now all Gunkoku forces are considered hostile and will be destroyed or captured on sight. We will liberate Bushijatagi and bring the leaders of Gunkoku, who started this war, to justice!

The Republican Navy's Aegir Fleet stationed near Gunkoku set recieved the order. Seventy-five kilometers south away from Ontarium forces, the 6 Yedinorog landing crafts went ahead of the fleet and began releasing the 23 hovercrafts. The hovercrafts varied in payload, some with tanks, APCs, ADVs, or logistics.
Meanwhile the two Kuznetsov carriers began launching fighters and the other ships opened fire on the coast. A Gunkoku flight to intercept the bombers was attacked, and an airbattle begun with NE and Gunkoku fighters. The bombardment ceased as NE troops landed on the beach. Instantly Neo-Erusean Black Eagles and BMP-3s opened fire with their main guns on the Gunkoku positions.
Already Gunkoku forces are being stretched thin as they attempt to repel the Ontarium, Gyrobot and Neo-Erusean invasions.

Day 1 of the conquest of Gunkoku.

The Arbalest Artillery guns rolled on the plains of Gunkoku border, As they reached the defense point, The General looked on the horizon, the Gunkoku army was prepared to defend themselves, If General Irm Kazuhara knew his own people right, the Gunkoku are offshoots of the Japanese culture, meaning the BUshido may or may not have an effective influence in their doctrine, but Irm knew that in the modern age battlefield, acient ways of wars are gone, the Gyrobot Artillery Division was given the command to fire and an barrage of shells flew overhead...

The Neo-Erusean Republican Navy was transporting massive amounts of troops and their supplies while the battle on the beach was carrying on. Gunkoku's formidable Air Force was providing excellent support but their funding was sucking the rest of Gunkoku's military dry. Their army wasn't putting up much of a fight.

OOC: Damn....this really got out of hand when I left. I don't see the point of me geting involved considering four nations are already kicking the crap out of Gunkoku. It would be a waste of Ustian lives.

The Government of the Republic of Ustia will not get militarly involved in this war. We don't see the point considering many other nations are already fighting Gunkoku. However we will still support Bushijatagi with military aid and Advisors so a strong Bushijatagi military can be formed that can protect itself from nations like Gunkoku.

OOC: Of course if Bushijatagi doesn't reply anytime soon this post will be pretty much pointless. :p

"Bismark! Austria! Bismark! Austria!" The single cry rang out over the comms of all Ontarii, signalling the third phase of Bismark. Upon hearing their signal, a long stream of air-transports, which had been accompanying the 'Prussia' group (The heavy bombers) diverted course to just south of Gunkoku's already fragile northern line, and, in syncrinsation, began dropping divisions of Airborne infantry and light-armoured vehicles.


The noose around the neck of Gunkoku's northern army grew increasingly tighter, as her already disorginised and and disheartened men were now surrounded and effectively cut off from the rest of the Gunkoku military.

OOC: Ontarium. You are a newb. Nothing wrong with that.

IC: By this time the Gunkoku defences have silenced. A beachhead has been established by the Neo-Erusean Navy Marines. A steady flow of Republican Armymen were landing now. They were combing through the enemy postions. The orders are no prisoners.

Off in international waters, Neo-Erusea's two Oscar-class submarines were preparing to launch their cruise missiles. Both subs had 24 missiles in total, but would only launch 21. The other three were nuclear tipped. The subs would launch in 25 seconds...10, 9, 8...4, 3, 2, 1, Launch! The fourty-two SS-N-19 missiles punched out of their tubes, through the water and into open air. After reaching 100m their jet engines turned on and the missiles descended to 20m. The missiles would reach mach 2 and fly a strait line to their targets. The 'targets' were industrial centers and military instellations in Northern Gunkoku, some 20km south of Ontarium forces.

OOC: Uh guys I think this was planned by those two. IF you haven't noticed they are both new here and where probly fighting each other as new nations. Both looked like they didn't know how to rp.

What was left of the ravaged, disorganised Gunkoku forces were promptly forced into small pockets of resistence and soon after, forced to disarm and surrender. The pisoners were detaied n the very fortifications they had fought so hard to defend and were kept under close watch by the reserve units making their way into secure the region after the initial Blitzkrieg.

The main attack body, however was already charging southward towards it's next objective- securing control over the major cities in the north, as well as a foothold for invading the south. They weren't exactly expecting much of a fight, as the front line fell so quickly and news had come through that the Eruseans had assisted them by launching cruise missiles towards military installations and industries that the Ontarii forces missed.

Day 2

The Tanks rolled near the first cities of Gungoku, immediately Tanks were ordered to fire a devasting salvo on the city. Their orders along with the airforce was to decimate everyone, anyone still surviving were to be either executed or be turned into human batteries for the Bartool Mechs.

Neo-Erusean forces advanced farther in Gunkoku as the enemy army became so dishearted that they wouldn't fight. But the NE forces were soldiers, not prison guards, so they never took the time to get prisoners. Everyone under the Gunkoku flag is to die. The Neo-Erusean forces continued inland until they saw a Gunkoku fortress. "Hold your fire!" yelled the field commander over the radio. "That's an Ontarium flag!" NE forces then turned south to further occupy Gunkoku.

Ok, hold on a sec Neo, Ontarium I think can take this war between Gungoku and Bushijatagi by themselves. I am debating rather or not that we participate actively. Perhaps there can be a better way to fight this war...for our own benefit. Basically we will act as mercenary armies and bombard the Ontarium armies to give the Gungokans some false calm, then we pummel the Gungoku. Repeat steps one and 2 till they both get weary and we take the land for ourselves, simple is it not?

Hmm... That's very underhanded. I'm not really interested in conquering Gunkoku, I just want to change his government and mutilate his army. If anything I'll act as peacekeepers while you do what you want.

And besides, its fun to RP this invasion. I really don't think that Gunkoku, or Bushijatagi for that matter, are participating.

Army Commander Ushio: All armies are orderd to surrender; this war is over and we have lost, that is all that needs to be said.

Consul Akagi: We are willing to give in to any demands set by the allied nations. Amd we are also more than willing to surrender our Air Marshal.

We will accept your offer, only if these terms are met.
1. Gunkoku must pay Bushijatagi for all damages.
2. The Gunkoku Army will be dissolved and be limited to 12,000 men, 400 vehicles, and 600 aircraft.
3.Gunkoku must accept military presence from Gyrobot, Pheonoxius, Ontaruim, and Neo-Erusea.
4. Top Gunkoku military officials will be handed over to be tried in Bushijatagi courts.
These conditions must be met or Gunkoku will be further occupied. Also, if these conditions are met Gunkoku government officials will be pardoned.

OOC: If you and Bushi were planning to battle, then you should have put closed in the thread title. Wars aren't taken lightly by some NSplayers (such as myself), and you should expect half the world to try and tear you apart if you invaded another nation for no reason whatsoever. If you want, I'll withdraw and you and Bushi can fight all u want, or we can finish the thread and hell, I'll even let your Ushio character go.
