"Dear God, it's beautiful," Chris Blair whispered, eyeing the beautiful Scottish Highlands valley before him. Two green mountains rose majestically above a a low valley, where a small stream ran peacefully, cool water flowing over small rocks and and through the occasional thicket.
"Your Majesty," A General standing behind him asked noticing the King was choked up, "Are you alright?"
Red eyed, King Blair looked at the Officer and said, "I have never seen such a sight. I have traveled to many lands, seen many people, and never has anything stirred me this much."
Smiling, the General replied, "Sire, I assure you then that you will love Blair Castle."
The Limosine with the Scottish Flag fluttering on the hood began moving again, as what had been United Kingdom, now Scottish soldiers followed close behind and led in front. Across hills and rivers they drove, passing farms and fields, streams and rivers, mountains and valleys secluded by lush forests.
And finally, he saw it. A large white building, with numerous cannons in its front court yard, and the Scottish Banner flying majestically at the top. King Blair, who had been an American citizen until merely three days ago, was now the Scottish King. After declaring Idependence, the people called for their own Monarchy. The Blairs, who were the royal blood line, recieved the call, and were sent to Scotland to claim their birthright.
As he exited the limo, numerous smiling civillians stood at the doorway, taking pictures. He made it a point to shake as many hands as possible.
"People," He began with a large smile, "You are free!" Cheers erupted everywhere, as the televised event broadcasted to other reaches of Scotland. Bagpipes began to play, and the people continued their cheers. King Blair then entered the building where much of his family was, greeted them.
His Father, who had turned down being King to his Twenty Year old son, shook his hand and said, "You'll make a fine leader, as you've always been a good son."
"Thanks dad." He replied. King Blair's benevolent rule of Independant Scotland had begun.
