1400’s-1806: under Ottoman rule
1806: Greeks begin to call for independence from the Ottomans
1809-1817: The War for Greek Independence
1811-1817: The War for Albanian Independence
1817: Greek and Albanian Rebels join forces against the Ottomans
1817-1820: The War for Greek-Albanian Independence
1820: Greece and Albanian are granted independence separately, when they try to join the Ottomans threaten war, Greece and Albania join anyway. The Ottomans do not live up to their threat
1822: The Southern Greece Campaign; Greece-Albania attempts to cede southern Greece, after 3 months the Ottomans give up their claim.
1828: The Cretan Revolt; Rebels in Crete attempt to secede from Greece-Albania
1836: Georgios Kapitdranos comes to power. Delegates from Greece-Albania ratify a Constitution. Greek Muslims are except from a say in the first government
1837: Muslim riots intensify. An assassination attempt against Kapitdranos fails.
1838: Kapitdranos is assassinated. Muslim rebels are blamed and hate-laws are enacted against them.
1839: Nicephorus Ionias comes to power. Genocide against Islamic Greeks is put into effect. Various other reforms are put in place.
1841: Political Parties are abolished. Albania attempts to secede, The 1841 Civil War begins.
1842-1846: The Civil War embroils Greece and Albania. Eventually the fighting gives way to minor skirmishes. A low-level war continues.
1847: Puppet leaders in Albania cede back into Greece.
1848: Various leaders are assassinated. Disapproval of Ionias continues.
1850: Ionias dies. His Nephew takes power, but almost immediately is assassinated. A new constitution is ratified
1857: A new Flag is issued.
1869: Reforms improve the Navy and Army. Courts are also reformed.
1872: Muslims are moved into southern Greece, Greeks are moved north. Minor riots break out.
1874: While most Muslims are moved, the relocation is cancelled.
1881: Isaac Ducas become President. More Islamic riots break out
1882: The Riots intensify. Ducas takes over the entire government to try to bring peace to Greece-Albania.
1896: The riots are finally dispersed. Ducas is granted Dictatorship powers to rebuild the Economy.
1899: Ducas relieves his powers only to receive them back.
1904: Ducas dies. His son, Romanus is granted dictatorship powers.
1912: Constitution is reformed. Romanus Ducas is declared First Citizen.
1918: Women are allowed suffrage. Many Muslims become disgruntled. Ducas attempts to work out a way to appease Christians and Muslims.
1919: Christian women are allowed to vote. Muslim women must have permission from their husbands or fathers
1923: Romanus Ducas dies. Alexius Argyrus is declared First Citizen.
1925: The Secret Police are instated. The Army is reformed.
1926: A new flag is issued for Greek Muslims.
1934: Argyrus dies. His daughter, Anna is declared First Citizen.
1935: Slavery is officially abolished. Slavery was unofficially abolished in 1853.
1937: Death Sentence is abolished. The corrupt judicial branch is disbanded, then reformed.
1939: Greece declares Neutrality in WWII (or similary relevent AMW War)
1940: Anna Argyrus is declared High Judge of the Courts by the Senate. The legality of this move is questions and Anna resigns her position.
1941: Greece is invaded by Nazi Germany, Argyrus and other leaders flee to Albania.
1942: Germany successfully takes over Albania, Greece-Albania is now effectively in anarchy, Argyrus is not able to excersize governmental powers.
1944: The Allied Forces retake Greece-Albania and allow Argyrus to retake power. Anarchism continues in a few areas however.
1945: When Germany surrenders, Greece-Albania demands repremations for their occupation. anarchism among Greek Muslims increases.
1947: Control is completely established under Anna Argyrus again. Anarchism is crushed.
1963: Anna Argyrus dies. Nicephoros Tzimesces is declared First Citizen.
1967: The Perpetual Codification is issued, Greece-Albania is declared forever neutral. In response, all embassies are destroyed. Negotiations are reset.
1974: Tzimesces dies. Manuel Cerularius is declared First Citizen.
1977: Taxes are raised dramatically for the first time since 1949. Grumbling causes it to drop considerably, though overall, the taxes were raised.
1986: Greek-Albanian borders are closed off to immigrants. Only Macedonian foreign workers are granted visas.
