LIBERAL SOCIALISTS WIN NOUVELLE ANGLETERRE’S FIRST PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION

The Socialist Republic of Nouvelle Angleterre tonight has it’s first ever President. The change, however, isn’t that great as the new President is none other than the former King Tristan. He announced his intentions to stand after declaring Nouvelle Angleterre as a Republic earlier this week. Elections were already scheduled for today and the announcement just added a bit more spice to the already active political situation in Nouvelle Angleterre.

The 522 seat National Parliament will be made up as follows;

THE GREEN PARTY
Leader- Kirsty Bannister MP
4 seats- gain of 1

THE CONSERVATIVE PARTY
Leader- Thomas Edward-Hills MP
90 seats- loss of 7

THE DEVOUT REPRESENTATIVES OF THE HOLY SEE
Leader- Rt. Rev. Seamus O’Brien MP
1 seat- no change

THE NATIONAL PARTY OF NOUVELLE ANGLETERRE
Leader- Richard Walton MP
25 seats- loss of 25

THE CHRISTIAN ARMY OF NOUVELLE ANGLETERRE
Leader- Most Holy Rev. Amy Brighty MP
1 seat- loss of 1

THE LIVE FOR TODAY PARTY
Leader- Gary Phoenix MP
40 seats- gain of 1

THE LIBERAL SOCIALIST PEOPLES PARTY OF NOUVELLE ANGLETERRE
