Due to the increased export of the Merkava MK4 tank we're going to build another manufactoring plant. The plant will be built in Kopparbergs Niger, where we will hire 15,000 man at the new plant. This way we will keep our promise to minimize the unemployment in Niger.

The plant will be completed in three years, and by then it will have a maximum capacity of 6,000 tanks anually.

A total of 1,500 construction workers will build the plant.

Public announcement

The Kingdom of Kopparbergs today has signed a tripart mutual protection and assistance alliance with the following nations:

Alif Laam Miim
Arabicia

The name of the alliance is The Red Sea Alliance.

As new allies, the Emirate is wondering if the Kingdom of Kopparbergs would be willing to cooperate in a new development for a modified MBT design, for use in desert applications. We would also inquire if Kopparbergs is willing to sell some Merkava tanks [only 50 for a new battalion in the Sudan].

11-08-2006, 00:22
Yes, that would be very interesting. We will engage our MBT-engineers in that question immediately.

Of course, we presume that you would like to have the latest model, MK4? The total price for 50 tanks will be $400 million USD. And as an allied you will receive a 15% discount. Total: $340 million USD.

Will you come and pick up the tanks, or should we send the by ship to a port in Sudan? In the latter case it will be Port Sudan I guess, as that's the only port capable of taking such large ships? Is that port in your control?

The South American Union would like to ask Kopparbergs for an embassy exchange
We accept the embassy exchange and would like to establish an embassy in your capital.

We have reserved a place for the South American Union's embassy in the diplomatic district of our capital, Tel-Aviv.
You may also want to establish a consulate in our african holdings, preferable in Algiers in Algeria?

We will be glad to pick up the shipment at Port Said, since we need the tanks in training to prepare for use and further developments in the Sudan. The tanks will travel from Port Said to Aswan, where a new force is grouping to reinforce our units in the Sudan. We gratefully appreciate the sale, and the money will wired to your industry upon confirmation [*confirmation*] - um... okay, so you have the money. We eagerly await the shipment.

We would like to have a embassy in Tel-Aviv, as well as in Tunis, Haifa, and Algiers, if this is possible, please tell us soon. Right now, we could allow you to have a embassy in either our administrative capital in Buenos Aires or in our legeslative capital in Asuncion.

Buenos Aires will be fine!

You can have both Tel-Aviv, Tunis and Algiers. We don't have any other diplomatics In Haifa, as everything in Israel is concentrated to Tel-Aviv, but if you insist we can arrange that.

ps. We congratulate you on your incorporation of Niger.

The Kingdom of Kopparbergs agrees to the need of a warmer and closer relation between these states. We have reserved a place for your embassy in Tel-Aviv. We will establish our embassy in Singapore in about a month. Things are a bit busy here in Tel-Aviv right now, with the campaign in Niger as well as the worries in Saudi Arabia.

The Defcon-level in Israel is raised to Defcon 3. The reason is the situation with Saudi Arabia and Iraq/Kuwat.

We will welcome your staff with open arms. Meanwhile, unless you object, we will send our staff to Tel Aviv this week. We hope and we still think that the current tension in the Middle East will be resolved via diplomacy.

With the new Red Sea Alliance with Alif Laam Miim and Arabicia, the need of border patrols amongst the Israeli-Egyptian border is decreased to a minimum. The border to the Gaza Strip will be patrolled as usual. This decision has released 5,000 troops, which will be used in other missions.

Not entirely. The IDF can fully mobilize within 24 to 48 hours. In this case it means 3 million well trained troops oppose you. A though nut to crack methinks;)

The IDF isn't busy invading Saharan Africa, and doesn't have the majority of its forces on the other side of the Mediterranian.

Public Announcement from the Kingdom of Kopparbergs
Today the people of Nigeria are free again. We have arrested the former members of the Nigerian parliament, and brought them to Algiers where they will meet justice for their crimes.

Nigeria is from today the fifth governorate of the Kingdom of Kopparbergs. They will have full autonomy in all questions except foreign politics and defense politics, just like the other four governorates. We have installed a new local government in the city of Lagos, which will serve as the local capital, and governor Obi Tau Uzoma will rule the country from now on.

The Kingdom of Kopparbergs will invest $450 million USD in Nigeria

We're going to improve the oilfields in the Niger-delta and outside the Nigerian coastline, and we're going to expand the two ports in Lagos and Port Harcourt.

Later we will also build a long twin-pipeline from the Nigerian oil fields to the Algerian north coast. One pipe will transport oil and the other will transport natural gas. The twin-pipeline will be about 3,500 km long (2,200 miles) and consist of two 48-inch-diameter pipes. The pipes can manage oil and gas in both directions, but only in one direction at a time. The twin-pipeline will be known as The Trans-Sahara Pipeline. The cost for the pipeline itself is estimated to around $77 million USD, with an average mile-cost of $35,000 USD.
