I read a Star Wars novel : The Dark Nest . And so I got an inspiration to start a new RP . All are welcomed to join and any losses/damages suffered here will not be counted in your real fleet count . So the storyline is a colony of inscets that number hundred billion is rapidly expanding , capturing more and more planets and creating nests on them . And so the galaxy comes forward to stop them ... or join them if you are evil enough ... haha .

You can RP as anything you like . Your own fleet , a merchant fleet , pirates etc . For now I shall RP the Gorog-Killik Colony until someone good comes-up and volunteers to RP the colony , provided you know about them .

IC :

The Colony was expanding like mad , every day , several new planets were claimed ... either by force or by exploration . On each planet , a nest would be grown . Each nest contained up to 2 Billion Killiks and Gorogs .

Now they had approached dangeorusly close to the Core and fears were rising ...

The planet of Miriada was half bustling city world and half lsuh green landscapes and forests... that was until the Killiks and Gorogs arrived, nesting in the forests, but this planet slowed down their rate of multiplication but they still grew in number fast

Captain Alreic Du Loc had witnessed them briefly and soon saw the carnage they had brought to Miriada.. the cities soon began to fall and be torn asunder and soon the planet was theirs, many many people dieda nd on the surface many still hid away in parts of their metropolis

But Alreic had been forced to escape by his superiors who had him placed in stasis

it had been a week since Miriada was consumed by these ravenous hordes, Miriada was no more and Alreic was free from stasis

"So many...dead..for no reason!" he thought to himself, the anger and grief he felt, he wanted answers for what those THINGS were

IC :

Killik Protectorate Welk was pleased with the data feed comming in . So far his dartship fleets had captured another 50 planets , including the Bekhaeran held Miriada , which had brilliant plans in store for it ... it would be terraformed to become a Killik Nest and a breeding ground for more killiks and gorogs and of course ... dartships ...

A badly damaged Venator Star Destroyer exited hyperspace just over a planet that was not in their databanks. "Sir, we're on a collision course with that planet and out replusorlifts are inoperable." The captain turned, his hat soaked in sweat. "Try to land us flat on the surface. It'll damage the underside but this thing isn't going to be salvageable anyway. Find a long, flat area. Have as many men as possible on escape pods, and all flyable craft should be completely filled and lifted off. Have tham land near our crash site. And send out a distress signal."
"Yes sir," the Lieuteniant replied. "Uh, sir, we're reading massive amounts of lifeforms, all over the planet surface."

IC :

The Killik Nest Leader conferred with his counterparts in horror by clicking their mandibles rapidly . A huge ship was apparently on a collision path to their homeplanet . Although the ship had sent a transmission , the Killiks were of Iron Age technology to FutureTech Races and therefore did not receive it .

They automatically assumed that it was an enemy and scrambled 20,000 Dartships , each were only 1m long and were fueld by Hydrogen Gas and fired Hydrogen Gas Rockets or used themselves as Rockets . Along with another 80,000 Dartships scrambled from the 4 other nests on Ns'thur (ooc : the planet name) , the combined force of 100,000 Dartships , equavalient to 2 Wings headed towards the rapidly approaching target , firing rocket after rocket at the massive target . Individually a hydrogen rocket was almost useless , but combined , they were a force to be recknoned with ...

"Sir, we're being attacked! On all sides!"
"Damn," the captain looked out the window, "We're under attack!" he called out over the shipwide intercom. "Code red evac." He then switched off the intercom and said more or less to himself, "They're so small I can't make them out individually, but there's so many of them I can't see the planet surface. Thank god for sensor arrays." He turned to the Lieuteniant. "Are there any of our fighters in close range that can engage them?"
The Lieuteniant replied, "Yes sir, I'm calling them back now."
"What types of fighters are they?" The Captain asked, while watching out the window.
"Uh, there's 60 ARC-170 fighters, 100 Advanced Droid Starfighters, & 40 Y-Wings."
"Send the Y-Wings down to our determined crash area and have them wait. As for the rest of the fighters, have them come in and engage these things."
The Captain watched as debris broke off the ship. "Hopefully, some of that debris will hit some of those things. And our fighters can actually hit them."
Fighters swooped in, opening fire on the dartships.

IC :

Each laser bolt took out 5-10 dartships , depending on the pilot's luck . But every minute more and more dartships came from Ns'thur to support the attacking contingent .

The dartship's attacks , instead of slacking became more frenzied . They fired more and more roeckets unrelentlessly while some threw themselves at the starfighters ...

They also concentrated their attack on the enemy starship , crashing into the shields to lower it and overpower it ...

"The colony will be reclaimed by force... Miriada is one of the great examples of our empire and we have won a civil war against the odds, a few bugs wont stop us...Miriada will be reclaimed!" Colonel Wentz spoke to the armed forces gathered in the vessel Mjolnir

Alreic stared at the plasma screen in the cafeteria of the Mjolnir, as a captain he really should've been there but he didn't want to be

"A few bugs... does the idiot even know what he's going on about" He said as he walked off , surrounded by the CHIMERA troops

"hey asshole, who do you think you are!? nobody talks that way about the colonel or our plans!" he screamed at Alreic before three CHIMERA troops, the elite of the armed forces lunged at him, Alreic managed to knock one of them out and the other two grabbed him and proceeded to beat the hell out of him,Alreic managed to break loose and break one of his agressors arms..the other looked on at Alreic and just ran at him before being thrown to the floor

"Good job..shame about these three but good job nonetheless" a voice in front of Alreic said,"Now this is what I call a victory"

It was colonel Wentz, "Captain..you are in charge of the assault upon Miriada... seeing as youve publicly voice your opinion of me and my idea I thought I'd give you the chance to put your words into actions and let you"participate" in this war... you leave tomorrow"

"WHAT THE FUCK... NO WENTZ! WHAT ARE THEY?" a shocked and angry Alreic asked

"Theyre insectoids, humanoids whatver you wish to call them..thery breed quickly but if we take out their major nests the minor ones should be easy to destroy, the planet is deadly to them, but soon enough theyll overcome that..this is why we strike now..may will die but it will be for the good" Wentz replied as Alreic's anger gre..he knew in a way he was right..he relented and accepted the job

Mjolnir would lead the invasion force of Miriada... and to certain death 100,000 soldiers would land on the planet... and if Alreic was right 100,000 soldiers would not return

The fleet led by Mjolnir broke inot the Miriada territory only to see the planet Miriada below, on its surafce through clouds broken apart you could see a multitude of them, a swarm plaguing their world

The armada of vessels brought together veered straight towards the planet, in 30 minutes they would be on its surface they thought

The armada consisted of 5 Star Destroyers & 15 other large vessels but nonethless manouevrable, they thought this would be enough to reclaim Miriada

"100,000 men and women...are going to die, add that to the millions that died before" Alreic thought to himself, was this to be his last day or would he fight more

"Move towards the planet, land in the untouched areas, the planet is harmful to them, use that as our advantage but there are many..we will hold them off till reinforcements arrive" Alreic stated to the armada over comms, he hated this...he hated this so much..but Wentz... he was sending so many to their deaths and where was he..safely residing on the Trojan space station... he would face Wentz one more to make him see the outcoem of this war

The Lieuteniant turned to the captain with a look of despair on his face. "Sir, we're entering the atmosphere. We will be touching down soon."

The Captain turned to a control panel and pushed a series of buttons that activated the shipwide Brace for Impact alarm. "These fighters aren't helping very much. Send them down with the bombers. They're causing irrepairable Damage. But all we need to bo is to make sure this thing doesn't fall apart on impact."

The Nest Chief stared in horror as a massive Bekhaeran Fleet appeared before their planet , threathening their very survival and lives . In order to protect the safety of the nest , he communicated to his deputy by clicking his mandibles and gave the deputy a set of instructions .

The deputy hurried off on his 6 legs to issue the orders . Shortly afterwards , a Nest Fleet of 10 Million Dartships and 200 Dart Destroyers to encounter the enemy . The Dart Destroyers were the newest addition to the Killik's Fleet arsenal . No longer than 100m , they were heavily armed but lightly armored . However they compensated their light armor with high speeds and high maneouravablity ...

The Lieuteniant turned to the captain with a look of despair on his face. "Sir, we're entering the atmosphere. We will be touching down soon."

The Colony Nest on Ns'thur readied a ground force of 80,000 Gorogs and Killiks which were hiding , waiting for the perfect time to ambush the intruders once they landed ...

"Engage the oncoming enemy forces, deploy the dart guns, they can keep up with their ships...I hope..." Ordered Alreic as several dropships busrt from Mjolnir and its fellow space vessels, the fleet was sending 100,000 troops to Miriada to retake it by force

Ships were colliding and a few had not made it to the surface but about 85,000 troops landed whilst in space the Mjolnir and fellow vessels fired continously at the alien vessels

"This might work out to our favour" thought Alreic, a moment of sheer happiness washed over him..that soon was removed when one of the vessels fighting the gorog -killik ships formed into a massive dart and crashed into the rear of the vessel Abaddon, the engines were destroyed and all that was left was the weapons and life support systems...

"Fire at the enemy..I'm taking the last dropship down to lead the forces..Wentz is gonan pay for this!" Roared Alreic as he left the bridge

His dropship was being skimmed non stop by the enemy vessels...but it crash landed far from the only safe zone of Miriada..an area the enemy had yet to claim..The Spine Mountains..Alreic was stuck in enemy territory and had the choice to make with hsi 1000 soldiers with him... now Alreic would have to overcoem the odds

The Soviet feet picked up on the attack force attacking a planet and discided to follow it to see what was going on and they also heard from some of there citzens that bugs were attacking planets and the Fleet was ordered to check that out.

The Killik Commander sprang out of his hiding place together with his force of 10,000 Killik-Gorog Warriors who were brandishing ancient but still dangerous MC-15 Blast Rifles which fired pulsing blue bolts of energy at the Bekharean Troops . Several also flung themselves at the enemy , using their sharp pincers to slice the enemy troops into half .

Meanwhile the Killik Navy returned fire with millions of Hydrogen Rockets which exploded brilliantly upon colliding with the enemy capital warships . The Dart Destroyers retreated slightly and returned fire with bursts from their Laser Cannons while launching several hundred thousand Hydrogen Rockets at each shot ...

IC :

The nearby Killik Nest Leader sighted the approaching Soviet Battle Fleet and was immediately alarmed . However unlike his counterparts he chose not to act rashly and launched 100 Dartships to investigate ...

The Star Destroyer got lower and faster. The Captain watched the landscape open up infront of them. He spun around, "Have our men ready to secure the area around us once we crash." He turned to the intercom. "Brace for impact!"
Meanwhile, the fighters and bombers were reading a large amount of life on the ground and started blindly strafing the area.
The Destroyer touched down and the bottom of the ship was badly damaged, sections of the hull broke off and were left behind. The ship bounced back up but quickly hit the ground again. It slid across the surface and slowly stopped.
The Captained turned to look at the bridge crew. "Is everyone okay?" A few men were laying on the ground. He hoped they were still alive. He watched the length of the ship as several crewmen exited the ship through the many external access hatches. Then, he just realised the ship wasn't even. It was tilted to the side a bit. The Captain climbed a ladder built into the wall and opened a hatch in the ceiling. He climbed out and scanned the area. He climbed back down. "Nobody is near, so we're on our own. It looks like our scanners, communication, and some power generators are still operable. I want a complete scan of the area."

The fleet was aproaching the planet as fast as they could.

"Sir, there is something aproaching it request promission to go to full battle alert status?"

The Captin said " Send the Greeting message I want to here if they are friend or foe if you get no responce kill them got it."

The Ground Force commander sent out his first detachment of troops comprising of 2000 Killiks armed with the venerable , ancient but deadly Blast Rifles and 10 Gorog Heavy Assult Platforms which were made out of Precious Ore which were abundunt on the planet and had metal structures to supprt it . It sported 2 Heavy Blaster Cannons and 5 Light Blaster Cannons and could protect 80 Gorogs/Killiks in its protective shelter while they returned fire with their Blast Rifles ... They attacked mercilesly .

The fleet was aproaching the planet as fast as they could.

"Sir, there is something aproaching it request promission to go to full battle alert status?"

The Captin said " Send the Greeting message I want to here if they are friend or foe if you get no responce kill them got it."

IC :

The Colony Dartships were unaware of the communication message which simply passed through their ships . They were of too little tech so they could not receive even the basic of communications ...

"Sir, They haven't respond." The Com officer said
The captin said "Tell the ships to get ready for war and to start firing when they get in range tell the Galatica classes to get ready for battle and send out, there fighters."

The ships charged there weapones and got there fighters ready.

The fighters went ahead of the fleet and the lead fighter said "Get ready to engage them."

The fighters once in range started to fire there weapons and were going in groups of 3

The fleet was moving slower and in a line patern with the bigger ships first and the smaller ones behind them

"Sir, They haven't respond." The Com officer said
The captin said "Tell the ships to get ready for war and to start firing when they get in range tell the Galatica classes to get ready for battle and send out, there fighters."

The ships charged there weapones and got there fighters ready.

The fighters went ahead of the fleet and the lead fighter said "Get ready to engage them."

IC :

The Division Commander knew a threat when he saw one . He sent a signal to his fellow killiks to fall into agressive formation and they split up into 10 sub-wings each with 20 dartships .

They swung forward in attack formation , engaging the enemy starfighters ...

The men grabbed their E-11s and opened fire. The Captain watched. "Send our troops out to defensive positions along the hull. We're being attacked. Send a distress signal on all frequensies to anyone in range. The men that exited through the hatches were unorganised, and were easily taken down. Clone troops exited through the larger hatches near the ground and took defensive positions. A handful of AT/STA's walked out and opened fire on the platforms. Some of the fighter turrets opened fire as well.

The Killik Battalion Commander held his command stick high and brought it down again quickly with a swift movement . That symblified the start of a attack . The Assult Platforms lumbered ahead firing their Blaster Cannons at the AT-STs . Although they were lesser armed than the AT-STs , they had more firepower than AT-STs .

2 Assult Platforms fell with a huge thud after intense fire from the enemy troops and AT-STs . However the tide of the battle looked set to change as the Killiks charged forward with renewed entusiesm and fresh troops who had joined their ranks ...

Several Assult Platforms fell due to their lighter armor but they made it up by destroying several enemy AT-STs with their heavier weaponary . The battle seemed to be on the enemy's side until the Killiks valiantly charged forward , flinging themselves at the enemy with renewed anger and pride after several hundred thousand more killik and gorog warriors had joined their ranks ...

"Where are they all coming from? Send out some M1s, and set up some mortars along the edge of the ship," the Captain demanded.
At the command, several men entered their respective tanks, while some engineers set up the mortars. The tanks, M1A2 Abrams (MT), rolled out and opened fire with their cannons.
As soon as they were prepared, the mortars opened fire, shelling the general area of attackers.

OOC : Isnt this FT ?

IC :

The Killiks scrambled for cover as the distinctive humm of the motar shells grew louder , however several were killed by the radius of the damage .

They quickly recovered themselves and surged forward with renewed enthusiesm ...

OOC: IT is but he could always be a lower tech in ground units... AM I fighting bigger ships or just fighters sorry have no Idea what dartships are never read a startrek book I am a Foundation and Galatica
IC:
The starfighters were trained killing machines they stayed together in Wing-man stayed with there lead and there were a fellow noobs fighting this battle.
6 starfighters were quickly taken down from them not knowing the attack was coming.
"ATTACK NOW YOU NOOBS AND YOU VETS KILL THESE F*CKING THINGS" The squad leader yelled at the squadron.

The Fighters quickly started there attack.

The fleet was now moving faster to the battle area when they got the SOS singal on there coms

They sent a message on all channels
"This is the Soviet Battle Fleet 13th We are at 253,123,362. We have picked up on your postion we will be there after we get done with this space battle."

"Send a message to the High Command telling them to bring to fleets here the new ships to not these old things from the Covent Of Orion." The captin said. The order was sent out quickly it soon reached the High Command.
"The Convent Who would want them in battle and want 2 of there fleets to come Tell them and well they will most likely go." The High Command Commander Alex masedted said to the council
OCC2: This is something I have had in the back of my mind for a while.
IC:

The Convent ships quickly left there home world and went into sub light engines and quickly entered there realm of space were they can move as fast as they want and would arive in 2 hours to that galaxy because they can't stay in that realm for to long.

OOC : Ahh . Dartships are from starwars . They are 1m in length and around 1m in diameter . They are oblong starfighters that the Killiks-Gorogs use and are powered by Hydrogen Rockets . The dartships fire hydrogen rockets at an enemy target .A single rocket might not cause much damage but a concentrated amount can penetrate through shield and armor alike before the Great Swarm enters the enemy ship and destroys it from within .

Alreic stared at the survivors, well he more or less couldnt help it seeing as there were 1000 men and women there armed to the teeth ready to fight

"All our vehicles here are destroyed, wee going to have to reach the others by foot... there have been a lot of casulaties just reaching this place... I don't wnat to lose that many more, theyve yet to reach the Spine mountains, no idea why but they havent, there is a small city at the base of the eastern ridge, we can go there and contatc them"

"Sir I've minimal contatc with the remaining soldiers... theyre ALL in the same area, that I'm guessing is the worst idea ever" Replied Comms controller Halford

Alreic herad the news, 85000 soldiers massed together when the enemy could easily scythe them down

"Tell them to meet us at Quadrant 21:12...urgently, we need to strike at where the infestation started, sattelites and survivor reports we picked up say there is only one "nest" on the planet which is strange so we go to the nest it seems.." Alreic told his troops before muttering under his breathe"Wentz.. I'll be bringing something back to show you"

OOC: Yes, but I use a combination of FT & MT. Is it a problem?
IC: "Keep firing!" the Captain yelled, pacing up and down the bridge, looking at the monitors that were still operational. "How many more are there?"
"We don't know, sir. All we can do is keep fighting. We've tried communication with them, but there is no response."
The mortars continued firing, and the tanks and walkers kept moving, firing at the larger concentrations of hostiles.

OOC: Yes, but I use a combination of FT & MT. Is it a problem?

The Killik Commander shouted a command and his troops fell back in mock retreat while a fresh bunch of 5000 Killiks sprang out from the rear , aided by 200 Gorog Elite Commandoes who were armed with E11 Blaster Rifles and Concussion Grenades .

They dodged past the motar fire , of course some were killed during the process but majority managed to make it through and began fighting at close range with the enemy troops ...

Alreic stared at the survivors, well he more or less couldnt help it seeing as there were 1000 men and women there armed to the teeth ready to fight

"All our vehicles here are destroyed, wee going to have to reach the others by foot... there have been a lot of casulaties just reaching this place... I don't wnat to lose that many more, theyve yet to reach the Spine mountains, no idea why but they havent, there is a small city at the base of the eastern ridge, we can go there and contatc them"

"Sir I've minimal contatc with the remaining soldiers... theyre ALL in the same area, that I'm guessing is the worst idea ever" Replied Comms controller Halford

IC :

The Gorog-Killik Nest Overlord stared in horror as more enemy forces appeared before his very eyes , threathening his people ... his planet ... his home .

He hurriedly dispatched 1 StealthX Dartship at full speed to the 4 nearby colonies to gather more reinforcements while his remaining force of 2 Million Killik Dartships and 50 Killik Cruisers began to ready themselves ...

"Sir," the first Lieuteniant said, "I think our reinforcements have arrived."
The Captain turned to a monitor and saw a pair of ships exit hyperspace. It was composed of one Providence Star Destroyer & one Kitir Star Destroyer. They launched several Sentinel landing craft and quickly headed for the surface.
The Captain turned from the monitor. "Our reinforcements are coming, but we still need to hold them off. They're coming from the other side! Get some men out there!" The tanks, although fast, weren't fast enough to get to the other side of the ship before the commandos got very close to the hull.

The Convent Ships could see that more ships were coming and quickly moved over the other fleet and now the 2 Fleets were over each other and slowly the one on the bottom started to get behide the Convet ships
The convent ships were still above the other fleet but now just not right above them.

The convent sent There fighters up the Aces were the first ones up and then the noobs started to fly out of the hangers.

The Convent fighters joined the fight as the convent ships started to fire at the Dartships.

The Soviets started to move to the reinforcements and attack them

The Commandoes quickly rushed to the hull of the enemy ship and began blasting away and chipping away at the armor plating while several other commando battalions began fending off the enemy tanks with frenzied Blaster Fire which would rip into outdated armor and quickly destroy the M1A2 Tanks ...

The first few wings of dartships clashed against the noob enemy pilots and overwhelmed them by sheer number and skill . Thus they effectively drove the noobies back into cover while they fought against the more skilled enemy pilots .

Seeing many of their fellow kind lost to brutal enemy laser fire , the Dartships and Dart Cruisers began upping the ante by increasing the Laser Cannon and Hydrogen Rocket fire ...

The Captain watched the whole thing unfold, and decided it was time to bring in the heavy artillery. "Get two Juggernauts out there, one on either side."
The hangar doors opened and out rolled two huge rolling tanks. They were equipped with very thick armor, and was armed with 4 laser cannons, 2 grenade launchers, and 2 medium blaster cannons. They took up position and fired a barrage of laser fire on the hostiles that weren't close to the hull. Each tank deployed 50 clone troopers and they moved to engage the commandos.
Meanwhile, the landing craft landed in locations scattered around the hull of the downed ship. Each craft deployed about 70 troopers. They jumped off and headed for cover.
OOC: What is the terrain like in the area?

The Convent quickly lunched a counter-attack and begain to lunch its missles at the bigger ships and tarrgeted the dartships with there mass drivers and laser fire

The Mothership started to fire its ION Cannons at the bigger ships and even some of the smaller ships.


The Convent Commander Sent a message using his mind "We are of the Convent and Wish to know why you raise and hand of hate at us."

The Soviet fleet started to move in a flanking position od the dartships
