Xharn-1 (The Patron's Private Jet)…..

The Xharn-1 was heading towards its final destination, the capital city of Xharnia. The United Military State of Xharn was in peril. The Kraven Corporation had been defeated and Xharn as a Slave State had to prepare for the worst. The Patron of the State of Xharn declared a state of independence from the Kraven Corporation. The State of Xharn immediately became a military dictatorship under the command of the Patron. The Patron Choi Song had successfully reestablished his hold on the military and had taken control of all the cities of Xharn.

The Fatherland was once again in the hands of a strong man. The only problem was Choi Song was old and his body was failing. This flight across the country was only to ensure his hold on the country. The only problem was it left the Patron isolated with no sign of medical personal. The Patron's bodyguards were the first to notice their leader had fallen but there was no doctor on board the flight. The Patron died in a matter of a few hours. The diagnosis was that his heart gave out and his personal habit of excessive drinking and smoking had lead to a decrease of his health.

The Xharn-1 landed at the 1st National Airport of Xharn. The people had gathered around the area to greet their Patron as his jet landed to the ground. A red carpet was set up and the people were held in check by Death Korps personal and sniper positions were taken all over the airport. The sight the people saw was not encouraging. The ambulance was rushing towards the jet with police escort. The crowd watched in horror as their Patron, their leader was taken out of the aircraft by a stretcher….

The crowd had mixed emotions about seeing Choi Song dead. On one hand the man was a brutal tyrant who could have you killed or tortured with a snap of his fingers. The flip side to that coin was he was also the symbol of the nation a figure of the state. The people had a strong belief in loyalty to the Fatherland. The state had become the Fatherland in the eyes of the people. The people were seeing a vision of the fatherland in a state of death something that would frighten the common person….

4 hours later…….

The news channels all had special bulletins and an State wide broadcast was sent all across the state directly from the HIVE. The nerve center of the United Military State…

< The Picture of the Flag of Xharn appears in the beginning of the broadcast…>

<An old man then appears after the flag. The man is wearing a black suite and tie….>

…."People of the State, We have to report as of 4:30 this evening. The Patron Choi Song, the undisputed leader of our glorious fatherland has dead from a massive heart attack. The State is now under the direct authority of the Central Military Command. The Command shall appoint a new Patron as soon as the situation stabilizes."….

Official Message from the Dominion

The Dominion is sorry to hear of your loss. Your nation is the northern neighbor of Wolfe Island and the Angel Island chain. It is always a bad thing when a nation’s leader or famous military commander dies. It is never a good thing for a nation to go through. We wish the best to your nation and your people. If you need anything, the Dominion will see what she can do.

Signed,
Lord Bennet du Paris
The Secretary of Diplomacy of the Dominion

P.S. The Count loves your flag.

Official State Directive......

To: The Dominion

From: The Ministry of Foreign Relations of The United Military State of Xharn

The death of the Patron Choi Song is indeed tragic for the people of the Fatherland. We now have certain problems in finding a successor to become the next Patron of the State.

The Central Military Command would like to thank the Dominion for their support of nation in its hour of darkness. The Command would also like to wish the Dominion well. As for the new flag. It was a personal change made by the late Patron to cleanse the failure of Patron Anton and his failed alliance with the Kraven Corporation.

Grand Ambassador Gerald Nomato

The only request we can ask the Dominion is if they could watch over our seas until the dispute over who is to be the next Patron is resolved.

It is rumored some of the Senior officers are planning on a coup and that could mean a sever movement in the State's military. We fear other nations may take our moment of disagreement as weakness and attack our people.

Sure, we will keep an eye on your water. I see if I can move a couple of MTN-S01 Harius class submarines at both ends of the channel that divides Wolfe Island with your nation. And I will see about moving a good sized fleet to the edge of your western coast.

If a coup does happen, call me and Dominion soldiers will be prepared and send to your land via Wolfe Island.

The United Military State of Xharn would like to thank the Dominion for watching our back in this critical time. The Central Military Command will not forget to repay the Dominion for their generosity. We are hoping the coup can be avoided with a few selective deaths but that is still a classified matter.
