The NF-12 'Ribbon' is an air superiority fighter developed by NEMI in 1983. Created to counter the theat of the highly manouverable F-16, the NF-12 utilizes forward-swept wings that allow it to achieve high angles of attack. While appearing like the Grumman X-29, the NF-12 boasts a new engine and more efficient avionics. The concept of the forward-swept wing was made possible by the introduction of new metals that can withstand the immense flexing created by the design.

The NF-12 utilizes a 'jam-proof' doppler radar that allows the aircraft to engage any ariel targets without ECM interference. The aircraft has a secondary radar to detect and engage ground units, but this radar is vulnerable to jamming. The Ribbon can carry most missiles but is not designed to accuratly drop foreign bombs. Thankfully, this aircraft can be modified by even modest nations to drop bombs. The problem is mostly caused by the bomb itself, as most munitions have their own aerodynamic properties that the aircraft must calculate in order to find where the weapon will fall. So, any bomb that is not over the weight limit can be used, but there would be no guarantee that it will hit the intended target.

The Ribbon first flew on the 25th of September as the prototype XNF-12. The first prototype was lost due to a fire in the hanger but a second was quickly built.

The NA-15 Raincloud was developed by NEMI in 1976 to answer the Fairchild A-10 Warthog. The plane is sometimes confused with the Su-25 but the two planes are quite different.

The NA-15 incorporates advanced Neo-Erusean ground-search radars to search for targets. It has an anti-air radar to search for long-range threats. The Raincloud is as slow as the A-10 so it usually needs escorts to protect it from enemy air forces. The NA-15 can carry any Neo-Erusean munition except MOAB bombs or large-scale cruise missiles. The plane has titanium armor and is resistant to 30mm rounds in critical areas. The fuel tanks are in the center of the aircraft, and are protected by fire-retardant foam. If a tank is comprimised, it self-seals to protect the plane. The aircraft has triple redundancy in its flight systems, with mechanical systems to back up double-redundant hydraulic systems. This permits pilots to fly and land when hydraulic power or part of a wing is lost. The planes landing gear pretrude out of the aircraft fuselage when it is not lowered. This reduces damage to the airframe when the aircraft is forced to 'belly land.' The Raincloud's A22 gun fires 30mm AP rounds that have a range of a mile when the NA-15 is in flight.

The G7S is NEMI's first tank design, developed in 1997. Incorporating features of the T-90, the G7S has an all around day/night TV/thermal camera with a laser rangefinder that can automatically engage and manage up to 10 active or passive targets. It is believed that the G7S can effectively destroy almost any enemy tank or even any rotary wing aircraft on today's modern battlefield. It uses newly designed digital systems in a sensor pod for target recognition, identification, prioritization, and automatic tracking. Its primary weapon is a 140mm 3B7 smoothbore gun, with secondary antiair/antiarmor missiles, and a 12.7mm machine gun.

The G7S has advanced armor designed to cope with modern enemy weapons. To counter the threat of the Javelin missile and other similar weapons, the G7S uses a new tandem ERA package that can block one of these missiles. Underneath that is a titanium alloy lined with synthetic lead for protection agianst nuclear fallout. The tank uses air filters and purifiers to protect agianst chemical and biological attacks. Should a round get past the ERA and armor of the tank, the G7S employs blow-out panels to increase the crew's chance of survival. Along with these defenses the G7S incorporates a point-laser defense system. This is not intended to defeat incoming missiles, but to combat foot soldiers targeting the tank with a laser designator or similar device. The system works by detecting the lock on and firing a laser to disable the lenses of the equipment.

The Neo-Erusean NH-4 Hydra was designed by NEMI in 1994. It is an attack helicopter that was ordered by Neo-Erusea to serve along-side the Mi-28 Havoc and Ka-50 Hokum.

The first of four Hydra prototypes performed its initial official flight on 15 September 1994, and the fourth prototype first flew in March 1995.

The NH-4 Hydra was developed to provide an anti-tank attack helicopter for the Neo-Erusean Republican Army. The NH-4 can be used in the anti-armour, armed reconnaissance, ground attack, escort, fire support and anti-aircraft roles.

In the anti-armour role, the helicopter can carry either Hellfire or TOW missiles, or a mixture of both. The NH-4 can also be equipped with 81 mm or 70 mm (2.75 in) in unguided rockets and has a three-barrel 20 mm cannon in a turret mounted under its nose.

For the anti-aircraft role, Stinger or Mistral missiles can be carried.

The Hydra is equipped with autonomous navigation and night vision systems in order to provide both day/night and all-weather combat capabilities.

The X-02 Wyvern is an air-superiority fighter developed by the EASA in 1991. The plane is employed by the Neo-Erusean Air Force and the Navy. It incorporates a switch-blade design (see images). It spreads its wings out at speeds lower than 350km, as this provides more lift and thus maneuverability. At speeds higher than 350km, the wings are swept inwards, reducing drag and allowing higher speeds. Its twin FV-34 turbofans output a total of 55,000lbs of thrust with afterburners on. The X-02 features 3-D thrust vectoring nozzles. Thrust vectoring has proven to greatly improve turning rates in aircraft (i.e. the F-22 and Su-37).

The X-02 employs a digital search radar that has a range of 400km and can track fifteen targets simultaneously. The X-02 can engage six of the targets at the same time. The X-02 lacks a jamming system, but it is stealth and jamming enemy radars would alert them about the presence of the Wyvern. The X-02 has a triplex fly-by-wire system that is used on the MiG-29M.

The X-02 has a cradle-system, that carries missiles in racks under the engines. One advantage of this method is that unlike the F-22, the missiles don't fall out and get battered by air, and thus gives a chance that the missile will start its engines at an angle away from the target. With the cradle system, the missile is held in place until its motor starts. In between the engines is a standard bombay that can carry bombs or more missiles.

Initial researches in connection with development of 203-mm self-propelled artillery gun capable of firing in 25 kilometer range began in Neo-Erusea in the December of 1993. Such gun was intended to defeat separate very important ranged objects, destroy fortifications and fire special nuclear projectiles. In the March of 1994 there were enumerated tactical-technical characteristics for such artillery gun's development and in the late 90-ties first serial NM-3 "Rhino" Self-Propelled Artillery Guns were provided for Neo-Erusea special extremely powerful artillery brigades. Recently the NM-3 "Rhino" is in service with the Neo-Erusean Republican Army, but has been authorized for export. The NM-3 has the longest range of fire comparing with any other modern field artillery unit and also it is the largest self-propelled artillery gun in the world.

The NM-3 "Rhino" Self-Propelled Gun features turretless design with rear opened placed main gun. Driving compartment is in the front section and engine-transmission compartment is right behind it and crew compartment and combat compartments go further. Artillery unit's crew is 14 men. On march 7 of them are carried by self-propelled artillery gun while others in convoying truck or armored personnel carrier.

Commander and driver have their seats in the driving compartment. Cabin is protrudes forward creating counterweight for the main gun. Cabin features two roof hatches. Forward observation is provided threw the windscreens or periscope observation devices. However windscreens can be covered with an armored shutter. There is also a forward-facing periscope in the forward part of the roof between commander and driver. In the combat position gunner seats at the rear of the hull on the left side. Gunner operates elevation and traverse controls.

At the rear part of the hull there is very powerful 2A44 the 203-mm artillery gun. Gun has no muzzle brake. This design decision was caused of a low pressure dangerous for crew while mounting muzzle brake some additional protection measures had to be taken. Gun's lock is automatically opened and closed by a special mechanical device. However this operation can be done manually in emergency situation. Projectile and load are loaded by load-assisting mechanism. This loading mechanism works in any gun's elevation and traverse inclination levels. Loading operations are made from locker's deck.

Over and under the gun there are mounted hydro-pneumatic recoil absorbers. Recoil step is approximately 1 400 mm. The NM-3 "Rhino" is completed with rear mounted bulldozer type hydraulic operated spade. It digs in the ground approximately 700 mm and provides good fire stability. Fire stability is also ensured by landing directing sprockets and blocked wheels hydro absorbers. All these features allow to fire in a wide range of elevation and traverse ranges. Elevation range is between 0° and 60° and traverse range is 30° (15° to the each side). In a low elevation levels or using low power loads fire is executed without lowering spade and other recoil absorbing measures.

Ammunition is separately loading type. The main is OF43 High-Explosive Fragmentation Projectile and rocket assisted projectile. High-explosive fragmentation projectile weights 110 kilograms and consists 17.8 kilograms of explosives. Such projectiles maximum range of fire with a normal load is 37.5 kilometers and initial speed - 960 m/s. Rocket assisted projectile weights 103 kilograms and contains 13.8 kilograms of explosives. It's range of fire is a record for a modern field artillery and is 47.5 kilometers.

Without already mentioned ammunition the NM-3 "Rhino" Self-Propelled Artillery Gun fires concrete piercing, chemical and also tactical-nuclear projectiles. Combat load consists from 40 rounds however only 4 of them are carried by self-propelled artillery gun for immediate use and remaining - by convoying vehicle. In fire position ammunition is lowered to the ground and carried to artillery unit using one-axis barrow.

Maximum rate of fire is 1.5 rounds per minute. However there are intended later firing modes:

- 8 rounds in 5 minutes;
- 15 rounds in 10 minutes;
- 24 rounds in 20 minutes;
- 30 rounds in 30 minutes;
- 40 rounds in one hour.

Especially for the NM-3 Artillery Gun in Farbanti NEMI Plant there was developed and produced special tracked chassis (object 216). Exactly this plant made final assembling of the NM-3. It's artillery part was supplied by "Beniy" Plant. Vehicle is powered by V-46-1, the V-type 12-cylinder diesel engine completed with turbocharger. It reaches maximum power of 750 hp. Furthermore "Rhino" is fitted with auxiliary 24 hp. diesel engine for autonomic electricity supply. Mechanic transmission with a conical reducer and board gear boxes are similar to the T-90 Main Battle Tank.

Chassis features 7 doubled rubber wheels and 6 supporting rollers mounted from the each side. Wheels suspension is individual, torsion with stopping hydro absorbers. Driving sprocket is placed front and the rear sprocket is lowered to the ground in combat order. A great number of chassis elements are similar to the T-80 Main Battle Tank.

The NM3- "Rhino" features quiet high mobility for a such mass vehicle. Considering that preparing for the march position time is set to minimum, artillery unit in principle is able to fire 1-2 rounds and leave it's position while the first round will defeat target in 47 kilometers range.

Vehicle is equipped with a tank internal communication device, radio equipment and fire prevention equipment. In addition it is completed with nuclear, biological, chemical protection system and night vision equipment.

The NB-442 Jackhammer is a supersonic bomber designed by NEMI in 1998. Based off the failed M-50 Bounder, NEMI developed its aircraft despite critisms from the Neo-Erusean government. The result was a highly successful aircraft that would serve with NEAF's Tu-160 Blackjack. The Jackhammer is powered by four Geo7 turbofans that output 35,000 lbs of thrust each. This gives the NB-442 a high speed of Mach 2.5. This would make interception by conventional fighters difficult.

The Jackhammer utilizes a rotating pylon system in its bombays to maximize its weapons load. The Jackhammer can carry the feared MOAB bomb, as well as air-launched cruise missiles and conventional bombs.Though the original design started out with a tail gun, this was removed and replaced with flare/chaff launchers. The NB-442 has a double-redundant flight-control system. The Jackhammer can lose one system due to damage and still fly with the other.

http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n220/Neo-Erusea/BM-335.jpg

The BM-335 bomber was designed by Neo-Erusea in 1956. It was a large, ungainly design which was accepted over foreign bombers to protect the Neo-Erusean aviation industries. The aircraft is much larger than the B-52 and is much slower. In fact, the aircraft can hardly top 650km. The bomber's cockpit resembles that of the WWII B-29 Superfortress and shares a similar paint scheme to older Nazi German bombers.

The BM-335 has a large bulbous area beneath the cockpit. Such a heavy, drag-causing bombay raised many questions when the plane was introduced, both from Neo-Erusea and the outside world. This in fact was a nesecity as early Neo-Erusean atomic weapons were oversized and bulky.
http://www.historylink101.com/ww2photo/atomic-bomb-fat-boy.jpg
This bombay carried these large weapons in large numbers, and as nukes became smaller, and no longer needed, the BM-335 found itself carrying conventional bombs, ECM pods, radar, and more. The modern BM-335 has an automated 30mm tail gun in a turret. It serves like a cheap phalanx gun that can shoot down aircraft and even larger missiles like the AMRAAM, but the odds for this are slim.

BM-335 Specifications:
Length: 91.5m
Wingspan: 89m
Height: 27.2m
30mm gun in tail-turret
four weapons bays
Max Weapons Load: 60,000kg
Max Speed: 600km

Photo taken of a NQA 1 with a low resolution digital camera.

Designed in 1994 by the former the NEMI, the NQA 1 Farbanti-class aircraft carrier is the first stealth vessel to be designed in Neo-Erusea. The carrier is a major advancement over the Kuznetsov carriers currently in service, incorporating catapults instead of a ramp.

The Farbanti-class carriers are a floating airport, capable of launching as many as four aircraft a minute. The ship's four catapults and four arresting gear engines enable her to launch and recover aircraft rapidly and simultaneously. The ships carry seven different types of aircraft with a total complement of 56 planes. During flight operations, the flight deck of 4 acres is a scene of almost no activity, with crew and other equipment functioning as a well-rehearsed and carefully choreographed team to ensure both efficiency and safety from within the vessel. Four aircraft elevators, each the size of two average city lots, bring the aircraft to the flight deck from the hangars below. Small tractors spot the planes on the flight deck. Aviation fuel is pumped up from tanks below, and bombs and rockets are brought up from the magazines. Powerful steam catapults similar to those on western carriers can accelerate 37-ton jets from zero to a safe flight speed of up to 180 miles per hour in about 300 feet and in less than three seconds. The weight of each aircraft determines the amount of thrust provided by the catapult. When landing, pilots use a system of lenses to guide the aircraft "down the slope," the correct glide path for landing. The four arresting wires, each consisting of two-inch thick wire cables connected to hydraulic rams below decks, drag landing aircraft going as fast as 150 miles per hour to a stop in less than 400 feet. Lacking an island, the "Air Boss" and his staff coordinate the entire operation, which is carefully monitored from the flight deck level as well as by the Captain on the ship's deck. The only time crews get on the deck is during aircraft operations.

The Farbanti-class self-defense measures include: stealth, missiles, guns, and electronic warfare. The NQA 1 uses modified SA15 Gauntlet missiles that are resistant to sea water, which is comprised of two launchers with eight missiles each. SA-15 is a command-guided, short-to-medium range missile capable of engaging aircraft and cruise missiles. Farbanti-class also has Close-In Weapon System mounts for short range defense against aircraft or missiles. Each mount has its own search and track radar, and a six-barrel, 20-millimeter Gatling gun capable of firing 3,000 rounds per minute. These weapons are retracted when not in use, as to keep the vessel stealth.
The carrier's two nuclear reactors give her virtually unlimited range and endurance and a top speed in excess of 30 knots. Four steam turbine generators each produce 6,000 kilowatts of electrical power, enough to serve a small city. The ship has enough electrical generating power to supply electricity to a city of 90,000. The ship normally carries enough food and supplies to operate for 70 days. Three distilling units enable Farbanti-class engineers to make over 300,000 gallons of fresh water from seawater a day, for use by the propulsion plants, catapults and crew. The ship carries approximately 2 million gallons of fuel for her aircraft and escorts, and enough weapons and stores for extended operations without replenishment. These ships also have extensive repair capabilities, including a fully equipped Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Department, a micro-miniature electronics repair shop, and numerous ship repair shops. Keeping a Farbanti-class carrier ready at all times requires repair shops to maintain machinery and aircraft, heavy duty tailor shops to repair parachutes and other survival gear, and electronic ships that keep communication, navigation and avionics equipment in good condition. Farbanti-class carriers almost boast all the amenities that would be found in any Neo-Erusean city with a sizeable population, including a post office with its own ZIP code, TV and radio station, a newspaper, a limited fire department, a decent library, a hospital, a general store, a barbershop, and vending machines.
