Yo, let's try some MechWarrior Roleplaying, see who's got the skills to handle Mechs. As such, I will detail the allowed Mechs:
Uller Class Light Mech
Owens Class Strike Mech
Cougar Class Light Scout Mech
Uziel Class Light Mech
Vulture Class Support Mech
Catapult Class Support Mech
Thor Class Medium Mech
Mad Cat Class Medium Assault Mech
Atlas Class Assault Mech
Each participant is given three weapon choices:
Missiles: Crossbow (1), Hammer (2), Javelin (3)
Ballistics: Machine Gun (1), Autocannon (2), Gauss Rifle (3)
Energy: Pulse Laser (1), Standard Laser (2), PPC Gun (3)
Each Participant of this Role Play will be given Seven (7) weapons points. When you spend them, you are given that kind.
You can also pick one of these three abilities:
-Chaff
-Target Jamming
-Null Signature
Only Light Mechs (Mechs labelled with Light in their class [see above]) may use Jumpjets, which are given as an extra benefit.
I will give you the storyline, and it will be completely different:
The Praetor of the Kelion II, III and IV has been overthrown by his once loyal bodyguards, the Sentinels of Kelion II. As such, the Praetor, still alive, has gone underground to form a resistance to regain his throne. His rebellion is attempting to bring back the once righteous system to his fair hand, but his Sentinels have placed a reasonably large bounty upon the death of the Praetor. You must choose a side, and begin the fight to reach either targets.
Should you side with the fallen Praetor, you will be tasked to fight through an empire of tanks, aircraft and loyally skilled enemy Mechwarriors to the Seven Sentinels, which each will be RPed by yours truly, or if you wish, you may Role Play as a Sentinel of Kelion II. This option is suggested if you want a more action oriented RP.
Should you side with the Sentinels on the assassination contract, you will be tasked to find the Praetor, take out his hidden base, and bring his head to the Sentinel Council. This option is suggested if you want a more stealth based, character RP.
If you face a Mech, you must RP the battle it out yourself, but be reasonable (I will ask you to leave or edit your post if you post yourself simply cutting through the enemy with ease - take damage, force yourself to flee occassionally - remember, you are one person). If you run into another RPer, it is best to plan it out who wins. If you are defeated, a reasonable outcome is that you ejected from your seat before your Mech collapsed. Or you can have your character killed and role-play an entirely new player and mech.
