The Colony of Matenbud is currently under siege (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=489374) and under a full economic , military and diplomatic embargoes placed on us . We are currently holding out against our opressors but we have a much smaller fleet compared to theirs and we would require a much larger fleet to overcome our opressors . Therefore we appeal to the Cosmos Community to donate free warships or sell them to us at low prices , or we would be estinguished very soon .

"We will be happy to assist, for a low cost. We can produce Battlecruisers and fighters for you, we do have some industrial space open, along with a potential mercenary contract in the works."
OOC: TG me at Fujishima Corporation for details. I.e. Defense budget, whatnot. We can work something out.

Unfortunately we cannot join your ranks at the moment . However aid would be deeply appreciated .

I am sure that we can work something out for you. I am also sure that I could produce some Warships for you for a low cost what you can pay over time as opposed to paying in one lump sum.

The Constitutional Monarchy of Bretonia
To the government of the nation of Matenbud; the Bretonian government has reviewed your request at some length, and has come to the virdict that we must reject it for various reasons.
First and foremost, the nation of Bretonia has had no previous contact with either Matenbud or Mationbuds. This presents us with two significant obstacles. Firstly, we would be supporting a side in a conflict we do not fully understand, and endangering Bretonian interests in the process. Supporting your nation without knowing the entire history of this conflict or hearing the other side of this story would be extremely shortsighted and irresponsible of us. Secondly, providing unknown nations with Bretonian military technology is, quite frankly, a completely ludicrous suggestion.
Secondly, the Bretonian government is presently over-spending on our own military forces at present, and we simply do not have the available spend to finance your own war efforts as well. This government has an obligation to our electorate to maintain their level of safety above all others, and it is for this reason alone that we cannot devote finances to other entities at this time.
War is always a terrible thing, and I hope for the sake of your citizens that your conflict can be resolved soon and peacefully. The most we can suggest is the orchestration of an immediate cease fire and all parties reporting to the negotiating table, to save lives on all sides. If necessary Bretonia will act as a neutral ground for such talks to take place. Otherwise, we can do little more to assist you at this time. Good luck.
