Hampton Air Force Base, Magna Casa, Aequatius Prime
Staff Sergeant Allen Banks hopped down from the rear of the M35 truck ferrying his platoon to the waiting C-180 Carryall transport that would be bringing them to Ustia along with the rest of the 62nd Armoured Division. One of the privates was slinging his pack and G6A1 rifle over his shoulder as he jumped down onto the tarmac behind the transport's cargo ramp before turning to one of his comrades, "You know, man, I've heard Ustia isn't so bad, the weather's nice and the girls are pretty."
"That's good to know, but they won't be anything like the chicks here," Replied another soldier carrying an MG55A3 light machinegun.
"Pipe down you idiots!" Shouted Banks over the noise produced by the aircraft's equipment, "If any of you mess up while we're over there, I'm going to get fucked up... And if I get fucked up, I'm going to fuck you up."
"Christ, sarne, we can't help it if the girls are hot there," Said the machinegunner, "It's only natural."
The private's comment brought the whole platoon to laughter as the old non-commissioned officer scowled the squad in front of him, "Just keep it in your pants otherwise you'll lose it before you come home to your mamas! Now let's go, you're all supposed to be on that aircraft five minutes ago... Move, move move!"
The platoon hurried to board the aircraft as they secured themselves and their gear inside the cargo compartment and waited for the C-180 to lift-off the runway. Within forty five minutes they were on their way with the rest of their company onboard the aircraft as it set its course towards Ustia along with the others ferrying the division.
----------
Lieutenant-General Gus Durandal, AF-UST Commanding Officer, relaxed aboard the private executive aircraft as it traveled to Ustia. He would be meeting with both Ustian government and military leaders about the deployment of Aequatian Forces Ustia. He knew nothing of the nation that was supposed to be one of the Republic's largest economic allies and he only had a few hours to learn all he could before landing in their capital. He signed as he continued to go over the mass of papers sitting before him as the jet flew over the ocean.
While AF-UST was making there way to the Fatherland The men at P.A.B (Petoria airbase) readed for there arrival. That ment everything had to be nice and pretty for the arriving foriegn forces. P.A.B was the largest and most important airbase in the fatherland because of its strategic location next to the great city of Petoria the Largest city in the Fatherland second only to Directus the captiol. The commander of this great airbase was General Petterson of the Airforce who had commanded the Airforces during the Southwest war in Peoplesfreedom but thats another long story for another time. Anyways he hated the idea of having foriegn troops protect the fatherland but it needed to be done considering of the deployment of Ustian forces to many fronts Like the Aeson and Neo-Euresa. He was suppose to meet with the AF-UST leader along with the Joint Chiefs and the Prime Minister himself.

Ocean, Close by Fatherland:
Meanwhile a squadron of TSF-620B Xeons took off from the Aircraft Carrier R.U.S Lordis. There mission was to locate the Inbound AF-UST forces and escort them to Petoria airbase. It wouldn't take them long to meet up.

(OOC: Reason for this "Fatherland" stuff is that Ustia has a large german ethnic background but don't worry we speak english.)
*Bump* to keep thread alive.

Off the Ustian Coast
The Air Force pilot flying the private jet carrying Lieutenant-General Durandal was the first Aequatian aircraft to arrive over Ustian territory, he leaned over and switched to a broad frequency to find the one used by the control tower at Petoria Airbase, "Petoria Control, this is Eagle One-One-Alpha, could you vector us in for approach?"
At the control tower comm's officer Tom Nolan recieved the private jets message and responded "Roger Eagle One-One-Alpha this is Petoria control vectoring you in now." Meanwhile a couple Xeons escorted the private jet with one on each side. They weren't taking any chance's. Down below the welcome ceremony was about to begin. The Marine Corp band was there along with the usual stuff for events like this.
OOC: Is your commander going to travel to the captiol and meet with my leaders or do you want me to just have them be at P.A.B?

Petoria Airbase, Ustia
Durandal finished his drink and set the glass down on the table in front of him as the aircraft moved in low over the base. The aircraft's fuselage jolted as its gear touched the tarmac of the runway and the brakes engaged as it slowed and taxied towards the waiting entourage standing on the ground. The ramp opened and produced a stairway for the officer and the Lieutenant-General stepped down and made his way over to those that were to greet him, "Hello, I am Lieutenant-General Gus Durandal, commanding officer of Joint Task Force Ustia or Aequatian Forces Ustia."
OOC: Meet at the airbase.
"Its good to meet you Lieutenant-General I'm General Petterson commander of this airbase." Petterson then introduced him to the brass and the Prime minister himself. "This here is Army Chief of staff Andrew Zimmer along with Airforce and Naval chief of staff Mark Rice and John Moore." Then a man in a nice suit walks up, holds out his arm and says "Hello Lieutenant-General Gus I'm Jeff Carson Prime Minister of Ustia its nice to meet you."

"It's a pleasure to meet all of you, I hope that the deployment of Aequatian Forces to your nation can improve the relations between our nations greatly," Said the general, "I was hoping to discuss the deployment of my forces throughout your nation."
The Prime Minister took over the talking and said "Certainly, I was thinking about discussing that myself. Please lets go inside and talk somewhere a little more private." With that the Joint Chiefs, the Prime Minister and the Lieutenant-General headed for the meeting room held inside the airbases H.Q. Petterson didn't follow as this didn't concern him. Meanwhile P.A.B continued its normal operations of regular patrols, repairs of aircraft and so on.

Durandal took a seat at the table within the meeting room as the two Ustian officials took their respective seats. He set his folder down on the table and was the first to speak, "There will be an entire Corps' worth of personnel and equipment coming into your country and I need to know how they're going to be distributed so that we can establish the force smoothly, otherwise we will end up with a large number of soldiers and tanks all sitting in the middle of this airbase."
Meanwhile, the first transports began arriving as they touched down on the runways of Petoria Airbase. Within half an hour nearly a dozen aircraft were busy unloading their cargo as tired soldiers walked about stretching their legs and chatting with idle Ustian personnel, sharing cigarettes and discussing a myriad of topics. The vehicles that were rolled off the aircraft were assembled into makeshift motor pools, organized by unit, the tarmac was lined with M1 Panther tanks and M4 Spartan combat vehicles along with the many 8x8 UNISUV vehicles that had become a large part of the Aequatian and Ustian militaries.
The Prime Minister quickly responded to Gus's question while at the same time bringing up a map of Ustia and laying it on the table. "We think the best way to distribute your forces would to spread them out evenly at a few of are major citys Like Arlon, about 200 or so miles away Or Lumen another coastel city to the south. We have airbase's at each of these citys that can easily house your troops. Each of these citys have a very good road system so if where attacked your forces can quickly respond. Of course if you have something else in mind then please fire away."
Meanwhile on the Tarmac Ustian and Aequatian Personal worked to organize all the equipment being unloaded. It wasn't hard to handle the vehicles considering there where the exact same thing as the Ustian's vehicles. They made sure they didn't mix up the Ustia and Aequation vehicles because if that happen they would look like idiots and most likely be chewed out by there commanding officers. The Ustians and Aequatians got along great with each other laughing over jokes and what not. The only problem they had was the cigarettes considering there illegal in Ustia so most just said "no thank you" when the Aequatian's ask if they wanted one but some got sneaky and took a puff when none of the officers where looking.
OOC: Sorry no map at the moment but I'll try to get one up.

General Durandal examined the maps laid out before him and nodded to the Ustian's suggestions, "That sounds good, your nation's infrastructure should be sound enough to handle our forces," He said pointing to the major cities on the map, "I have five infantry divisions to work with, so I'd like to place them at the most important cities that would require protection. My single armoured division will act as a counterstrike force stationed in a central area so that it can react to any point in Ustia in around the same amount of time."
Most of the assembly points for the motor pools had been moved onto the fields of the airbase so as not to take up precous tarmac surface for the aircraft going about their business. Staff Sergeant Banks walked about his company's assembly point and watched his soldiers interact with their comrades from Ustia, quietly he took a seat with the crew of an M4 Spartan combat vehicle and shared a package of chocolate with them, "So, what do you think of this place?"
The vehicle commander, another Staff Sergeant, replied as he took a piece of chocolate, "It's not too bad, it feels like home seeing all of the same equipment here though."
"Still haven't seen any of those girls everyone's been chatting about," Interupted a young corporal, the crew's gunner, "It's a shame, really."
"I just hope we get posted somewhere near a city," Said the crew's driver, another corporal, "I'd hate to come all this way to sit out in the middle of fucking nowhere, guarding some damned oil field or refinery."
"I'm sure brass has a good plan to fuck with all of us," Said Banks with a wry smile as he rose from his seat to leave and slung his rifle back over his shoulder, "It's what they're trained to do at the Academy in Arrio."
The Prime Minister staired at the map for awhile thinking which cities were the most important. "The most important cities would have to be Lumen, Solis Ortus, Valais, Petoria and maybe Arlon for various reasons for example Lumen has a major naval base and Solis Ortus is a big key to taking are captiol because of the terrain. Now for your armored divison I would have to say Sudentor would be the best place for it. It's basically right smack in the middle of the country and lots of major highways pass threw it."
Tarmac:
Warrant Officer Thomas and the rest of his men were kicking back on a Wolf HMMWV injoying the peace that had been robbed from them for so long. They remembered the hot hell hole known as the Southwest Fighting the fucking insurgency everyday. Now all of that is behind them, Peoplesfreedom has gone back to normal, the war is over and there home. Thomas and Jack where stairing at the Aequatian troops noticing that they were green, really green. Jack said "You know sir those guys remained me a lot of PF's troops exept PF's weren't as green as those guys." Thomas responded " I wouldn't pass judgement on these guys so soon, they may surprise us."

Durandal nodded, "All right, the 126th Infantry will go to Lumen, the 127th to Solis Ortus, 128th to Valais, the 129th to Arlon and the 130th to Petoria. The 62nd Armoured will be garrisoned at Sudentor with primary and secondary plans for mobilization to any of the other major cities around Ustia. As for the Air Force units that are to arrive soon, they will be deployed here in Petoria and be ready to scramble anywhere they are needed."
----------
Staff Sergeant Banks continued walking about the area the division had taken up at the airbase, he saw a group of soldiers standing around one of the armoured vehicles as it drove off the rear cargo ramp of aC-5G Galaxy II, it was one of the new M133 "Turtle" Microwave Tanks, its armoured superstructure protecting the large magnetron inside that projected a field of microwave frequency radiation to disable enemy vehicles and kill infantry. Elsewhere, the division's aviation brigade was unloading their helicopters, most being the light MH-20 Shadowcat as they sat next to the CH-47F Super Chinooks, which had been named the "Skybus" by the troops. As he walked, he took notice to the Ustian soldiers watching the division's business, he felt out of place since the unit he was part of was created simply to send to Ustia, he was grateful that he managed to increase his pay rate, but it meant he was no longer part of a combat division that was likely to go to war. Sullenly, he took a seat on the wheelbase of an M35 truck and lit a cigarette.
Jeff smiled a bet knowing that his country was quite secure from any attack. Although he knew that the Fatherland was in no danger what so ever it was good to relief some pressure off of his own forces so they can fight in other areas without worrying about the Fatherland. "It sounds like we have everything in order General Durandal. Thank you for doing this my nations armed forces need this breather badly and I also thank you for making the Fatherland a more secure and safe nation."
Tarmac:
Thomas and his platoon saw the new tank come off of the cargo ramp. "What the hell is that!" said Jack as the Microwave drove off onto the tarmac. Thomas responded "Hell if I know but will probable have some of them soon knowing or economic statis with these guys." Suddenly Colonel Jessica Wallace came out of nowhere. "And what are you guys doing?" the sudden apprience of her scared the crap out of Thomas and everybody else. Thomas responded "where just kicking back and enjoying the view mam. Is there something wrong with that?" She smiled when he said that ."No nothing at all but you guys are on duty in 20 minutes so I would get ready." The group groaned at that but said "Yes mam." When she left the platoon slowly got up streaching while yaning at the same and then heading for the barracks. While on the way Jack said "You know Thomas I can't wait until Corroll gets back because I really don't like this new Colonel that much." Thomas responded "well you can handle her for a couple of days can't you?" Jack said back "Yeah I suppose."

OOC: Sorry, I have limited internet access at the moment, but I'll be on for a good part of this weekend to catch up on all my storylines.
