Shadow Force - Mercenaries for Hire
Shadow Forcehttp://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b360/DMG2005/Mercenary.jpg
Shadow Force: An elite division of ex-Special Forces operatives who have banded together to form a select mercenary unit. The total force encompasses one hundred members, all of whom have had at least ten years in the Special Forces of the Dominion. While this group is in no way, shape, or form affiliated with the Dominion or the Government of DMG, they are based out of a secret camp in Dominion territory. They are completely self-sufficient, have all of the necessary equipment, and are some of the most elite soldiers ever trained inside of DMG.
Like all mercenaries, Shadow Force has no loyalties to any group or government. Simply put, they go where the money is, which is to say that they are loyal to the hand that feeds them. The cost of any single mission will be determined after the details of the mission have been outlined. The price tag will go up or down based upon expected difficulty, odds, task to be done, and various other factors. The terms set forth by Shadow Force are non-negotiable... the price listed is the only price available.
Members of Shadow Force are experts in an assortment of tactics and subjects, thus they are capable of nearly any job required and in anyway necessary (i.e. different forms of assassination such as very public, discreet, non-tamper). While not all of Shadow Force will attend each job, the necessary numbers with the appropriate abilities will be there to complete each mission.
*This is not a hired force of soldiers to be thrown onto the frontlines. These are highly trained specialists who are not integrated into your military and do not report to you. They are simply carrying out a mission that you have outlined for the cost they have.
Rules:
1) Not that any employer would ever know them, but the whereabouts and identities of Shadow Force members is never to be revealed. You wouldn't want Shadow Force holding a grudge against you, would you?
2) In the event that a member of this elite mercenary corps is killed in action while on a mission, a sum of one hundred million dollars is to be delivered by the employer to Shadow Force to be used as they will.
3) You will not knowingly send Shadow Force members to their death.
4) A mission can be cancelled at any time by the head of Shadow Force if he deems the mission too dangerous, impossible, or not in the best interest of the company. In the off-chance that this occurs, full refund will be sent.
5) As always, Shadow Force reserves the right to turn down any request or mission.
[ooc: A couple of notes to know ahead of time. I will be RPing Shadow Force if and when they are hired. This can take place in a thread specifically for their mission or in a larger thread (e.g. assassinating a President in the course of an ongoing war). Also, and most importantly, make sure the nation who these actions are being carried out against is willing to participate. While the end result does not have to be certain ahead of time (though it would help the RP), they do have to be willing to have Shadow Force "attack."]
Hurtful Thoughts

OOC
Might want to at least regulate what the Shadow troops can do.
You might not want controversy surrounding them.
Example being, a nation hires the mercs to strike one of your allies, and waves enough money around that you accept. Your ally sees not mercs but dominion troops - most likely with dominion equipment - shooting at them. Notice what the problem could be?
Oh well, welcome to the world of Worldwide Mercenary Services.
You'll do fine. I mean, they are the Dominion's best.
(I have a much differnt method of getting mercenaries into a conflict [unless it is a closed RP])
They wouldn't be wearing Dominion uniforms or using Dominion equipment... That would be stupid - it would allow the enemy to identify who they are.
They would either use unmarked uniforms and equipment or from the nation they are "attacking" so that it could help them in their mission (e.g. getting access to military areas).
Besides, they are a rogue force not affiliated with DMG. "I" can't do anything to stop them from attacking an ally... but they certainly still are patriotic (it isn't like they would kill by ruler for enough money).
ooc: could you do a discreet assassination of my ruler in FT? It would go great with a RP idea.

The Theocracy of Tassokarypidism is interested in creating a Black Ops Regiment. Do you accept to train them in the same standards as Shadow Force? You will be rewarded by any means you wish.

No, we are not willing to train them. We are a mercenary force and nothing else.
Good day.

We would like to know if Shadow Force would accept a contract to destroy the sentience known as Father, currently leader of The Kraven Corporation, and, if so, what the price would be.
OOC: I could probably get some other GASN
ooc: Eeek... There are a couple of problems with that. 1) I doubt Kraven would allow Father to be killed; 2) As you know, Father isn't a human being. He is a sentient computer-esque "thing" that can hide pretty much anywhere he can get into; 3) This is more of a job for a massive team of hacker people or something like that rather than an elite special forces group.
"Heh. Stupid upstarts. I wonder...How good do you think they are?"
"I hear the Dominion forces are pretty well trained, especially for a national army. These guys are all ex-Special Forces, so they have to be pretty good."
"Better than us, you think?"
"Na. Probably not. Not even these Dominion types have enough experiance, at least in the mercenary world.
Bear and Nexlon sat at the small table, both carefully observing the chess board in front of them. Bear-a huge, six-foot-eight excuse of a man-moved his knight and smiled.
"Check."
Nexlon promptly took the knight with a well placed bishop. Bear scowled.
"Didn't seen that one." He moved his last rook forward a few spaces.
"Bear, you need to pay attention to what you're doing. Queen to F3 and checkmate."
The hulking man examined the board and scowled even deeper.
"Bah. Gimmie a rifle and I'll give you a checkmate." He frowned and looked back at the Shadow Force description. "What about these blokes? Should we play around with them a bit? Test them out?"
Nexlon shook his head. "Na, we don't know how many men they have anyways. Basalisk only has a few scores of men at the moment; Shadow Force could have hundreds. What we could do...is set up a joint mission, if these guys are into that kind of thing. I can find a suitable target. First I want to see how good these guys really are, though. Let them do a mission or two before we contact them."
Bear nodded. "Smart move. New game, then?" He motioned to the chess board.
"Only if you want to lose again." Nexlon grinned and started setting up the pieces again.

OOC: Yeah, well last people that tried hacking the Kraven computer network got their internet taken over by Father I believe.

We received your request. The cost for such a high ranking mission would be three billion dollars. You are to provide us with at least half of the money before the mission.

Uhmmmm... With the amount of money one spends for these troops... It could be expected that they may die... Seems unfeasible to pay twice if one of them does die...

Ummmm.... considering they are being hired to assassinate world leaders for only a drop in the bucket of a nation's defense budget, I think one hundred million isn't that much to cry over. Okay?

With the way money is spent on NS, I doubt anyone has a problem with possibly paying a few hundred million extra.
