President Benedict Arnold?

With Washington out of the picture and British victory assured, Benedict Arnold became First President of the American States. He took the Continental Congress's form of government, what the US Government is in real life and implemented it.

The British Empire was victorious in America, only to lose it later to Benedict Arnold. Benedict Arnold made America independent but with a twist. He named the capital of America, Georgetown, after King George, it would be renamed later.

John Andre was an ally of President Arnold and would become Vice President. The American people were given Britishness somewhat. The anthem of America would be God Save Our President.

America would grow into what it is now but differently. First, The America Party, led by President B. Arnold was in power, over the Democratic Republicans (a merger of Democrats and Republicans). The America Party was led by Benedict Arnold and would rule for some time.

In Georgetown, the White House became Westminister House, after Westminister in Britain. This is where the President and family lived. There was no offical religion:

''We, the People of America, declare in unison and unity, that all religions, whether their paths or values, are declared equal and shall be treated as such.''

Christianity was the majority faith though, despite there being no offical religion. In courts though, one would swear on the Bible.

After Benedict Arnold passed away, another President was sworn in. The current President is a man named John Wainwright, of the America Party.

America has the Bald Eagle still as its national animal. The Liberty Bell is also kept, to reflect on American independence. The state of Washington is not Washington but Lincoln State, named after Abraham Lincoln who was President in America.

Manifest Destiny was practiced somewhat, in the growth of the American State westward, to the Pacific.

More later, as I think of stuff to write.

I am planning that all out still. But I may have it the same or different, I don't know.

Possibly. Washington DC is Georgetown, Washington (the State) is Lincoln, after good old Abe Lincoln and other things. It is an America after a British victory in the War of Independence.
