The Almohads, conquerers of Spain, expanded into the East, taking Egypt and later Jerusalem. This story below details a certain conquest the Almohads achieved.
Constantinople:
The Almohad general, Muhammad Ibn Khalid, on his white horse, marched through Constantinople with his armies. The Sublime Porte and Topkapi Palace were vacanted by the Ottoman Sultan. Muhammad looked to see Hagia Sophia from his steed. His soldiers marched in unison together.
When Muhammad reached the Palace of the Sultans, he marched in and saw the Throne vacanted. He had his own tour of the Palace, seeing many of the rooms.
When Muhammad came out, he was greeted by his soldiers. Now that Constantinople fell, the rest of the Ottoman State would fall, if it had not done so already.
The Almohads now conquered the Ottomans. The Almohads were now the top power.
Constantinople was named the new capital of the Almohad Empire. The old Palace of the Ottoman Sultans was used by the Almohad Sultan.
In later years, the Almohads would continue their empire, ruling from Constantinople. The Constitutional Monarchy rules from there. Prime Minister Ali Ibn Rashid is the current PM of the Almohads. Sultan Idris XII is the current Sultan.
