The sun sets on a day in the city of Constantinople, capital of Europe. However, it is not your Europe of real life. Oh no. It is the capital of the Arabian Europe, which stretches from the streets of Pamplona, Spain to the deserts of Makkah.
People credit the failure of one Charles Martel to repel the Arabs at Tours as the end of Europe. Within time, the Arab Muslims conquered Europe. As in real life, when Mehmed II left the Patriarch of Constantinople alone, so did the Arabs and the Pope.
With the fall of Europe, came the Great Sultanate of the Arabs, led from Constantinople. Hagia Sophia was left as a cathedral by the Arabs. Sultan Mehmed II was a Turkish ruler of the Arab Empire.
The Arabs had seized Russia, the farthest they got to was Japan, though they did not invade Japan at all. (Thinking of getting rid of this or something possibly)
Now, a Constitutional Monarchy rules in Arabian Europe. Sultan Mehmed XIV is the Sultan, the Prime Minister in power is one man named Constantine Kanellopoulos, a man from Greece or Hellenia.
The Sultan does not have a Harem, he is happily married to his wife, Queen consort Victoria Blake from Engalterra or England and has several children (may change this later too)
Now, Constantinople serves as the capital of the Arabian Europe, from it the Sultans once ruled absolutely and from it the Prime Minister governs.
In the Great Hall of Ministers, where Parliament meets, politicians from every area of the Empire, like England or Wales, come here to discuss issues at hand like defense or taxes for two examples of issues that these politicans would discuss.
