this factbook can also be used for any RP's in the 1940's as well as the NS WW2.
Empire of Kirisubo (1940 CE)
location : 100 miles east of Japan, north pacific ocean
population: 17 million
capital city : Edo
anthem : Kimigayo (the original 1870 tune)
provinces : Shoshu, Hokkida, Kimika and Surika
languages : Kirisuban (similiar to Japanese), English
ruler : His Imperial Majesty Katsuo, son of heaven and the Shogun, Lord General Nakamura Kenji.
flag : a black field with a red rising sun; the naval standard is the normal flag with a gold anchor in the middle of the flag.

system of government : constitutional monarchy with an elected parliment, the council of Daimyos. They select the Shogun along with the ruling monarch.
current status : Neutrality is prefered but they will fight back strongly if attacked. have enjoyed 490 years of peace and would prefer to maintain that.
military forces :
3 defence armies responsible for a section of the Empire totaling 1.5 million men under arms. half of these forces are trained reservists. also includes the 500 aircraft of the Imperial Airforce.
their current tanks are the panzer 3 & 4 models and the airforce prefers a license built copy of the spitfire Mk 1 (called the Tenchi) as their front line fighter. they also have medium range bombers as well.
the imperial navy has 10 carriers with 30 assorted craft on each one. Sea Tenchi and
Aosagi (heron) two seater bombers comprise the main types. they also operate flying boats, floatplanes and land based squadrons nears the coast.
the navy has 500 frontline aircraft.
the ecomony
the economy is strong Kirisubo having rebuilt from the dark times of the great depression. Defence force modernisation was the spur for the economy to improve and it still is with Kirisuban arms factories supplying all the nations needs and all military hardware being built under license in the Empire.

spitfire MK 1; the Kirisubans built their version round 4 cannons rather than 8 machine guns although.
Aosagi low level bomber : a two seater general ground and sea attack craft able to carry up to 500lbs of bombs or a single torpedo.
Washi (eagle) medium bomber : built by Kasigi industries its the main bomber used for general operations. Land based they can carry up to 2000 lbs of bombs or 4 torpedoes.

Showa period rifle : a 20 shot bolt action rifle that’s a firm favourite of the imperial forces.
Type 28 submachine gun : based on the German MP28 SMG but mostly made of metal stamped parts for rapid manufacture.
Type 20 light machinegun : an air cooled model that two men can handle easily
K70 anti-aircraft gun : a standard design firing a 70mm flak shell .
