(OOC: A brief note, this is only being sent to major companies. If your company is not a major player in the world market, it did not receive this invitation. Examples of companies include, but are not limited to; Pale Rider Arms, Cute Bunny Burger Corporation, DMI etc. Storefronts will be checked for size/activity to determine whether your corporation would have received this message. Cheers.)

IC:

LifeWyze Corporation wishes to address the issue of the rising number of anti-free market nations, attempting to injure and in some cases even destroy, the revenue and reputations of honest corporations. Such countries can be said to include Kanami, Aqua Anu and Kroando. These nations risk undermining our companies and limit our sphere of influence.

In the interest of a global free market, the LifeWyze Corporation wishes to suggest the founding of the Free Market Union, hereafter refered to as the FMUnion. It would be the purpose of the FMUnion to encourage free market in all countries, unite in the name of the free market and to discourage the creation of anti-free market laws. Below is the proposed charter for the FMUnion.

Free Market Union Proposed Charter

All power, be it political, corporate or military, must be utilized in the interest of maintaining the free market in places where it comes under threat.

In the event of a member of the Free Market Union being boycotted/banned from entry into a country by a nation in a manner that is constrictive or against the principle of the free market, all members shall begin to cease activities with that nation in protest, issue a trade embargo or otherwise disrupt commerce within the nation.

Should any member of the Free Market Union by subjected to slander or libel by any nation, official, citizen, corporation or any other body able to communicate any either a local, national or international scale, then all members shall offer support in legal aid or as in the event of a member being boycotted/banned from entry.

To protect the interests of all members, prices shall be regulated, within reason, by the Free Market Union so as to undercut all competition outside the Free Market Union, whilst at the same time ensuring continued profits and stability of the aforementioned members.

The proposed charter is open to modification and extension, with the offer founding the Free Market Union open to only to those corporation whom have received this message. Further discussion on the Free Market Union can be carried out at the LifeWyze Corporation Head Quarters in Third Tower, North Maraque Super City, Maraque.

If your corporation wishes to become a founding member of the Free Market Union, the signature(s) of the board of directors/major share holders/owner(s) are required.

The Rt. Hon. Sir James Irvine,
Executive Officer,
LifeWyze Corporation.

OOC:

Not *another* alliance hehe.

Anyway mate, best of luck, and as long as you or any of your friends don't try to attack me, consider yourself to have another order over the next week.

Also, following the "personal-shopping" situation that's been occuring on your storefront recently, I've had a *titchy* idea of how to make it a little better.

Since Bio-Chem weapons are somewhat harder to guage in terms of yield that normal weapons (explosives), why don't you put something along the lines of "Commonly used amounts", and next to each item place the amount that would, typically, be used in an Artillery Shell (say, 6 Inch/150mm), a Missile (Standard Tomahawk VLS) and a High Yield Bomb.

Would make many people's lives in your store (mine included *laughs*) a bit easier.

Anyway, I'm only suggesting this as I think it might help, and as a shareholder of your firm, I want you to do well.

Regards

P.s if this is cluttering your thread, just tell me, and I'll delete it.

Response

Unfortunately, we do not agree with most of proposed charter and thus we will not be joining the FMU.

The proposed charter is subject to change, should any founding members have any disagreements.

You'd pretty much have to create a new charter for DMI to think about entering.
