With the recent discoveries of oil buried beneath the lands of Omni-Sense over the past few decades, the small businesses and people that owned these lands decided to band together in order to create Omni-Sense's largest company: The Phoenix Oil Company. After legally monopolizing the oil market, POCO grew into a large corporation with holdings across the world. Easily filling all of Omni-Sense's oil needs at home, Phoenix decided to begin selling oil abroad as their surplus had been growing to levels in which they would no longer be able to contain it. Thus, let oil flow freely down the streets paved in gold... black gold.

Stock is being held internally by members of the company and is not expected to go public anytime soon. The Phoenix Oil Company is headquartered in the capital of the nation, Omnificant, at an enormous complex that is home to the executives of the company and is guarded by an Elite Guard force of one thousand soldiers. The Board of Directors is composed of five members including the Director who oversees the company. After the founding of the company, Charles Xavier quickly became the Director and chief executive. Many speculate that this helped him become President of the nation not ten years later and in each election following that.

Currently, the Phoenix Oil Company is able to pump sxity-two million [54,000,000] barrels of oil per day. Of that, only four million is being used for the national interest of Omni-Sense, leaving fifty million [58,000,000] barrels for export into the international community. Currently fifty million barrels per day for export have been contracted, but do not fear for we have begun drilling and searching for more oil, which we know is there and were only awaiting more funding and equipment. Exporting will continue despite the ongoing war.

OOC: is the AOEN hostile towards other nations? The name suggests otherwise, although, I just want to know where you stand. I'm also a member of the GASN, in case it helps.

OOC: The AOEN is primarily an economic organization. For the most part it is content to live and let live. However, it will move to defend the assets of members and in addition defend oil producing nation at large in hopes of larger membership. It will very rarely attack at random. It is neutral towards the GASN.

Thats good to know. I've been wanting to expand my trade internationally at the moment, and am considering buying small amounts oil from a lot of people. If I did that I would have a vested interest in your alliance.... Would you have any problems, or would that cross your 'Neutrality' principles?

OOC: To both of you: I would be happy to defend myself in a war against you, so long as it is well RPed and not some crappy, "I invade with bazonkas and kill you all." Furthermore, it is apparent that you (BC) decided to not read my signature in which I state that I do not have a coastline. Omni-Sense is a landlocked nation in which a navy would be useless, as such, sending in battleships and assault ships and the like is useless. We were planning on sending it through a pipeline to a port we own where it will be loaded onto an oil tanker (capable of carrying 1,000,000 barrels) each day and shipped out to you. Your escort force seems like an ideal way to protect the convoy as we have no navy.

All I can say is, wow. We will have to commence drilling for more oil immediately! Your 49,300,000 barrels per day will be delivered by tanker fleet, however as we have no navy to speak of, if you want to defend them, you will have to provide such a force.

After receiving large amounts of funding from both the government and private interest groups, Phoenix Oil Company commenced drilling in spots known to hold oil. After the oil was found, POCO began pumping it and can now export another eight million barrels per day.
