Phoenix Oil Company
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/graphics/2005/06/27/noil27.jpg
With the recent discoveries of oil buried beneath the lands of Omni-Sense over the past few decades, the small businesses and people that owned these lands decided to band together in order to create Omni-Sense's largest company: The Phoenix Oil Company. After legally monopolizing the oil market, POCO grew into a large corporation with holdings across the world. Easily filling all of Omni-Sense's oil needs at home, Phoenix decided to begin selling oil abroad as their surplus had been growing to levels in which they would no longer be able to contain it. Thus, let oil flow freely down the streets paved in gold... black gold.
Stock is being held internally by members of the company and is not expected to go public anytime soon. The Phoenix Oil Company is headquartered in the capital of the nation, Omnificant, at an enormous complex that is home to the executives of the company and is guarded by an Elite Guard force of one thousand soldiers. The Board of Directors is composed of five members including the Director who oversees the company. After the founding of the company, Charles Xavier quickly became the Director and chief executive. Many speculate that this helped him become President of the nation not ten years later and in each election following that.

Currently, the Phoenix Oil Company is able to pump sxity-two million [54,000,000] barrels of oil per day. Of that, only four million is being used for the national interest of Omni-Sense, leaving fifty million [58,000,000] barrels for export into the international community. Currently fifty million barrels per day for export have been contracted, but do not fear for we have begun drilling and searching for more oil, which we know is there and were only awaiting more funding and equipment. Exporting will continue despite the ongoing war.
The current price per Barrel: $35.00
Barrels left for Export: 8,000,000 bbls/day
Oil Reserves: 8,000,000,000 Barrels
Exports:
The Commonwealth of Northford: 700,000 bbls/day - 24.5 Million USD
The Supreme Tyranny of Jaredcohenia: 49,300,000 bbls/day - 1,725.5 Million USD
[Every oil asset that the Phoenix Oil Company possesses is guarded by a joint missile defense system, which encompasses anti-aircraft missile batteries, anti-missile batteries, anti-ship missile batteries, and anti-vehicle missile batteries. In conjunction with the defense systems, a minimum guard of one hundred soldiers is stationed there full time.]

Welcome to the wonderful world of oil production. It can be a dangerous world, as a few have no doubt warned you so far. However, like many, I believe the costs are worth the danger expecially if said danger can be reduced to nil. How may this be done? I suggest joining the AOEN, alliance of oil exporting nations. It is a far less diabolic organization than the corporate alliance, and beyond that more trustworthy. Despite our more virtous nature multiple member of the CA have expressed fear towards us, namely due to our superior military might. Just so you know, I'm a net exporter of Oil http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=390671&page=10

The Force wasn't origionally designed to protect purely Northfordian Interests, and if you contribute a force element to it (no matter how small: I've been thinking we could do with some corvettes, to guard the last stages of inland transport), you could reasonably utilise it on all of your trade routes (which there are significant GASN interests) too.
