History of the Corporate Army

The corporate army of gyrobot is a direct result of the corporate council legislature, in order to protect their own interests, mostly financial, many corporations openly armed themselves with soldiers and armored units to ensure any anarchist or extremists taking an crack at them will be disposed of. The Corporate army consists of the ruling's corporations (those in the CC) combined military personal. The current army total is well over 1 million soldiers serving the CC (the Gyrobot armed forces consists of 1.5 million soldiers). Training and arming the troops is directly off the corporation's finacial pool so different companies may have different amounts of troops. Weaponry also is mixed as well. They tend to be supplied from friendlier corporations who accepts their agenda then those who are competing. The CC is skilled in anti-terror operations as well as dealing with propaganda elements but their military skilled is generally rivals that of the GAF. The only weakness is that the CC has to provide their own weapons, should the corporation fall, many soldiers could be without a commander and be forced to join the GAF.
