I'm curious, why social and christian democrats? Also, I think there might be a few more parties right now because of the fractured opinion's of the Americans

Well, I've kept the American political structure for the most part, except moved toward the left. The SDP includes socialists, former Democrats, and Green Party members. It's generally a centre-left party. The Christian democrats is economically similar to the SDP but represents the former republicans and social conservatives. Indpendants might be somewhere along the lines of libertarians who arn't particularly organized.
