The Hiigarans and the Cassiopeians were some of the newest allies of the Federation. They fought alongside the Anla`shok in the Battle of Aio, and the Hiigarans even now fight for the Federation along it's trade routes, fighting the raiding forces of the ESUS to save civilian lives. Now would be the time for the Anla`shok to return the favour for the Hiigarans, to find them a new home.

The Hiigaran 15th Expeditionary Fleet was in the Milky Way Galaxy for one purpose, and that was to scout out for possible settlement. The Anla`shok Minbari had exactly what they wanted - comprehensive maps of systems and planets in a large radius around Minbar. The Grey Council deployed one White Star to find a suitable system along with a Hiigaran cruiser. It wouldn't be too long to find a planet, as the Anla`shok Alyt had several ideas already, on the outskirts of Federation territory or just outside it. Alyt Irilenn ra Tha'domo was chosen for this mission, as she was one of the most disliked Alyts in the Anla`shok, and the high command opted to give her a mission that would keep her away from Midiri for a brief while.

White Star Nine arrived in the Eshar system at 2100 hours, and she idled in the void, waiting for the Cassiopeians and the Hiigarans to arrive so they could head to the first possibility - a star system named BX-193 by the Anla`shok.

The CNS Independence was a special corvette (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/1/19/B001.jpg) made for this mission. The Cassiopeian Senate finally decided to venture forth towards the stars, to spread the message of peace and to explore what the hell were people doing. Of course first it was going to settle a planet in the fabled Milky Way. Supposedly where the Cassiopeian's ancestors came from. It came loaded with its standard crew, a hell lotta food supplies, fifty marines, and two hundred settlers. Its job was simple, find the planet and then contact a fleet.

Hell they were even ordered to have a station built for new visitors.

Of course now they had to find the planet first. The Captain of this mission was a a Captain Ulysses Grant. He was an experienced one, granted he became a Captain through the Academy, he was a bit crazy. I.E., he almost glassed three colonies at once. Nevertheless he was found worthy (if you wanna call worthy keeping a pest away) enough to lead the colonists to their new home. Of course Grant didn't want to be sent in a single corvette, he wanted fleet support. But of course the system had to be protected from outsiders... even though nobody cared about it, but that's besides the point.

No, the Captain was going to find a new planet, colonize it, and bring in new trade. They might even find new allies. Or enemies. We prefer the allies, check please.

The CNS Independence flew over the White Star Nine the left, it was quit small. 186 meters. But a little is always enough. The Captain cleared his throat.

He also held a bottle of three century old wine in his left hand.

"Heya boys." He said over the communicator. "This is the CNS Independence. We bear gifts, aka free alcohol. We also got colonists and whatnot ready for exploration. Let's just hope we don't run into any problems but that's why you're here hm?"

He chuckled ."Cursed Senate wouldn't give me a fleet, ah well. We'll be here waiting White Star Nine. Over and out."

He looked at the bottle of wine. "Hmm... nah, we can't have us a drunk Captain."

[STAR SYSTEM BX-193]

From the Hiigaran variant of hyperspace, three ships appeared, two of them being armed merchant cruisers and the other being an Arcadia fleet carrier, the HGNS Stellar Ranger. Two more ships followed, marine frigates of the Longinus class. They would be able to provide fire support on the ground if such things became necessary.

In any case. Ships! In system!

"This is HGNS Stellar Ranger. Maneuvering to your position now with the colonization fleet."

Alyt Irilenn ra Tha'domo onboard White Star Nine looked at the small fleet the Anla`shok had assembled.

Why so small? she thought of the Hiigarans, but dismissed it. She had a duty to the allies of the Federation, after all.

"Comm, send out a hail to the Hiigarans and the Cassiopeians."

"Channel open, Alyt."

"Welcome, friends," she said with clenched teeth. Irilenn was not a pleasant Minbari. "to the Eshar system. We will be heading to these coordinates in a system that we Anla`shok call BX-193. It is eleven light-years away and change, and our preliminary survey revealed two M-class planets, as well as various and sundry other things that you can discover when we arrive. We will be leaving in five minutes, so make all your preparations beforehand."

Irilenn slashed across her throat to indicate the end of the transmission, and said, "Navigation, set course to BX-193 and engage. We'll get there before the others do."

"Aye, sir. Jump engines engaging now."

White Star Nine pulled away from the fleet formation, opened up a jump hole, and entered jumpspace at full burn. BX-193 was a 9 minute jump outside of Federation space, and it was unlikely that they would encounter anything of interest in that system, but hey, if the Hiigarans and Cassiopeians liked it, good for them. Irilenn's mission would be over that much quicker.

The Captain snorted. "Hm. Yah thanks for waiting. All right Ms. Irilenn. Ensign, initiate hyperdrive sequence."

The engines on the corvette got noticably brighter. There was a loud whine of the engines, granted you can't hear anything in space but you know that would be boring. The people looked at the "Warning: Hyperspace" sign flashing. Granted there was nothing wrong with hyperspacing but gosh that sign is fancy. All of sudden, vwa zoom! The ship was gone, travelling faster then the speed of light headng towards the system. Let's just hope it's not a waste of time...!
