Republic and Anglad make a stand against the Reich of Tocrowkia

Kubra - With the threat of a nuclear exchange still in the air from the Reich's threats made just a few days ago, the tensions are high as the Republic and the nation of Anglad, a fellow member of the Global Alliance of Sovereign Nations, prepare to ward off the invasion fleet of the Tocrowkian Reich as it enters Kubran Territorial Waters earlier today.

There has been no word yet on casualties as Tocrowkian vessels opened fire on allied vessels, however, according to a press release provided by General Krist Von Mann, Aequatian Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, there has been a battle raging dozens of kilometres above the Earth as Republic and Reich satellites attempt to best each other in a duel among the black void of space with several units on both sides being destroyed or knocked into the atmosphere in the ensuing fighting.

Although only Republic Navy and Air Force units have been deployed to Kubra, there has been rumours of Republic Army units being sent should the Reich's forces make landfall, although Aequatian Central Command is skeptical of such scenarios.

ANN Special Report - Talks in Capital
President Moltke meets with Northern Colonies Envoy

Magna Casa, Aequatius Prime - President Moltke met today with the representative from the nation of Northern Colonies today concerning the Republic's involvement in the coming Operation Full House and the Hawk Coalition. The Republic was invited to join the coalition by the nation of Farmina and was quick to prepare forces to take part in combat operations, however, shortly before the force was to be mobilized, the State Department received a telegram from the Northern Colonies inviting the nation to partake in talks with an envoy concerning the situation, which President Moltke agreed to hold.

So now, the Northern Colonies representative is now before the president and they are to begin a discussion as to whether the Republic will take part in future combat operations. Talks are unfortunately not expected to go well however as rumours emerge that the diplomatic means presented by the nation of the Northern Colonies is nothing more than a stalling tactic which will lead to force dilution within the coalition. However, the Republic and President Moltke have decided to enter the discussions with a neutral outlook and hope to resolve things quickly.

Republic Deploys Army Units to Kubra

Kubra - The conflict growing in the nation of Kubra moved to a higher level with the deployment of the Aequatian 3rd Infantry Division to Kubran territory alongside other allies as the nation of Anglad withdrew from the warzone after growing complications with Neo-Erusea. The deployment of ground forces shows the Republic's willingness to defend the nation while at the same time displaying a change in thought as air battles between carrierborne aircraft rage off the coast with losses on both sides.

With tensions still running hot, the Aequatian Republic Army and Air Force is expected to deploy additional forces to Kubra soon as three more Navy Task Forces arrive in the region and join the battle against the Reich's invasion fleet.

President Dismisses Northern Colonies Envoy

Magna Casa, Aequatius Prime - Talks between President Kurt Moltke and the Northern Colonies diplomat ended today when the president dismissed the envoy and had him removed from the Ebon Tor by Sicherheistaffel guards. Shortly afterwards, the president announced that Aequatian Republic Joint Military Forces would not be taking part in operations with the Hawk Coalition.
