The Drow City of Sch'Naggio is the largest of them all ((It's also my own creation)) at over five million Drow, and it is also the most recent. There aren't eight million drow in all the other cities combined. Sch'Naggio was founded by rogue priestesses under the Valley of the Giant, a valley that was once inhabited by giants but they were driven out by humans and Moon Elves. Over a thousand years, Sch'Naggio had massive population booms, and the addition of a Dueregar settlement about ten miles away helped enrich the city. Sch'Naggio was also easily accessed by the surface, with dozens of entrances around the mountains that border the Valley. But this all changed when the Valley of the Giants changed worlds and now the city is in the mountains near the Kologk town of Waterfront.

Features of Drow Elves-
Size: 4'6" to 5'6"
Drow Elves, having lived underground for thousands of years, have developed advanced infared vision in addition to normal sight. Almost everything in the darkness becomes illuminated and features of size, depth, and heat tell a Dark Elf of its surroundings. However, in better lit areas, this ability becomes nulled as their normal vision comes into play. Objects in even the darkest of shadows, however, can become lit.

Drow have pitch black skin, which can vary to dark blue and a light pink. Their hair is usually white and comes in styles as varied as humans' hair. Other colors include silver and light blue.

Drow are very nimble creatures because of their build, but the same affects their ability to take a hit. While most Drow are too fast toget hit, when they do, it can cause a bit more harm than it would to a human. Despite this, Drow usually live to be about 650 to 700 years old if they aren't killed in a war first. Drow usually train to be one of three things: Wizards, Clerics, and fighters, and the fighters are probably the most common.

Males are smaller and physically weaker than females, which is one reason that males are thought of as useless other than wizardry and generic soldiers. Male warriors train longer and harder than female warriors, however, and are usually the better fighters if they are properly trained. Males are almost always the wizards in Drow Society, and it is rare to find a female wizard.

Females rule over Drow society and excersize their power over the males on a regular basis. Males are not allowed to speak to a powerful female unless spoken to, and it usually ends in pain if they do it to any other female for that matter.

Future Tech Sch'Naggio

The planet of Sch'naggio is ruled by Jhaelaste, the second Matron Queen, who is in her last years of rule. Jhaelaste had established an isolationist foreign policy, using their sensor-invulnerable atmosphere for them to be ignored by most explorers. Sometimes there are weaker spots in teh atmosphere that powerful scanners can penetrate, but usually not enough to give them away. Certain scanner types, such as the ones used on the Cravanite ship Atlas, can scan through these spots with much accuracy, but these sensors aren't widely used, and only the Atlas has passed with these sensors.

The Drow have interstellar ships, but they're more like civilian craft and are only lightly armed and hardly are ever used. Instead, they use a global anti-orbital and anti-atmosphere vessel system to prevent the planet from being invaded or seen. Usually if they have to use their anti-orbital guns they use a lower power (30-50% power) to do enough damage to scare the vessel away. However, if the battle becomes heated, the orbital guns will deploy their multi-layered shields. After every shot, the guns will slide their position to confuse the enemy and coolant will quickly get the gun cool enough to shoot again in a matter of minutes. Should an enemy be too powerful to scare away, higher settings would be used to damage or destroy the vessels (55-85%) and using extreme settings would be enough to destroy a fleet (90-100%) in one or two volleys. Should a vessel or enemy try to land ships or probes on the planet, AASTs (Anti-Atmospheric Stationary Turrets) would shoot down any approaching atmospheric vessel, such as a dropship or terraformer drone. So while the Drow lack a space fleet, there are few enemies that could survive a bombardment from the surface as the massive PPC guns are hard to pinpoint and just as hard to destroy. Currently, the Drow are creating scramblers to hide their probes on their rocky moon and to further confuse the enemy on their military positions.

Drow warriors in FT have had hundreds of years of military experience, and so Drow soldiers are unrivaled in almost every department. But like the MT version of my nation, they are behind in the weapon of the times: Space Combat (As opposed to guns, armored vehicles, and aircraft.) Drow ground troops and atmospheric fighters are hard to contend with after centuries of experience and drills. The Drow have not been lagging in their military research, constantly creating a new and more powerful weapon than before. In fact, the PPC system is out-of-date, as tehy have developed newer Xazeranti-ship cannons, but the cost and time to replace the system would be too much.

The Drow have not strayed from their Chaotic Evil roots. Aside from the Nobles and the Queendom, Sch'Naggio is anarchy in the worst of ways, although street gangs do not rule. The Drow remain self-ruling and arrogant, but fierce and powerful nonetheless, and should they finally take to the stars, the Drow would be a force to be reckoned with.
