A European Empire

1928:
Adolf Hitler stood on the podium, delievering a speech. As he was talking, a man came forward and shot Hitler, killing the man who in real life created the Third Reich and led the destruction of many.
Erich Volkmann of the Germanist Party eyed this event, knowing a possible rival was eliminated, though he did not order this. Soon, Hitler's Nazi Party would fall, its people mainly going off to parties like the Germanists.
Erich Volkmann became Chancellor in 1933, and Fuhrer in 1935. He was more patriotic and nationalist. He would embark on the ''Great German Project'' to have an empire from the Atlantic to Pacific.
After several years of fighting, Volkmann was at Asia, near Japan. The plan was with Axis forces, attack Japan. The Germans had some tough times fighting but finally made it into Tokyo, where they annexed Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Manchukuo and so on.
Volkmann ended the GGP with this and rested German forces, only later to be in a Cold War with the USA. Volkmann did not do anything against the Jews, who lived peacefully during the War.
Volkmann was also neutral on Communism. As for high Nazis in real life like Goebbles, I will later state what happened to them in a Germany ran by more nationalists, etc than Nazis (who never really existed after Hitler's passing to the hands of the Reaper).
After Volkmann left the world in 1970, Hans Linnemann took power. Linnemann was originally a German officer from Japan, on duty in Yokohama. He arrived in Germany and began to rise the ranks, till becoming leader.
Linnemann would rule till 1999. From 1970-1999, Linnemann had an ok reign, the economy and military going up. Linnemann also dealt with the ''Advent of the Hakenkreuz'' in which Nazis revolted, only to be squashed like bugs, as some said.
Now, the current leader, Johannes Kallenbach, hopes for a good reign. Will the Nazis attempt another revolr? With the GGR fall? Who knows?
