In response to your unnecessary and unwanted intervention in our punishment of Kubra for their continued stupidity, along with the fact you are much more powerful and respected state, we hereby activate, for the first time in history, our "Strike on Warning" alert.

This of course means that we will launch a full strategic nuclear assault against your nation and her forces if indications are received you are preparing to the same against the Reich. Additionally, this policy also stretches to the other nations fighting against us, you're simply the only notable one.

Thank you for your time. We hope we can resolve this conflict in more traditional manner.

The Republic of Blaglug would like to let it be noted that any nuclear assault or threat of such on an ally of the Republic will be considered an attack on the Republic. Though the Republic is small, it has dedicated itself to nuclear and air capability.

Furthermore, the Republic is highly appauled that such a statement has been made in such a hasteful manner. The republic highly advises this action be retracted.

The atmosphere within the Ebon Tor was that of stoicism as President Moltke and his top advisors read over the threatening message that was presented by the Reich of Tocrowkia. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, General Krist Von Mann, was the first to speak, "Gentlemen, we obviously have a nation that thinks they can bully us with weapons that we not only have much more of, but an excessive amount of defence against thanks to lessons learned in our numerous operations against Red Tide."

Secretary of State Heidi Ghoddard took a seat on one of the leather couches in the President's office, "They mention nothing of a pre-emptive nuclear strike against the Republic, Mister President, as long as we have no intention of unleashing the Trinity upon the Reich, there is no threat against our nation."

President Moltke shook his head as he wheeled out from behind his desk, "Irregardless, here we have a nation that feels so threatened by our intervention that they feel they need to do this. I do not wish to provoke such an attack against the Republic, although I do want our armed forces ready to defend against such an attack, as we would have little time if they decided to pre-emptively strike at us," He eyed the Chairman of the Air Force General Gregory Kidd, "What do you have ready to defend us, general?"

"Well, Mister President, the David Weapon System is fully operational and used in conjunction with the Eagle I HEL and Eagle II NPB weapon platforms, we can fully defend ourselves against an Alpha-One Class Nuclear scenario, plus if we were to initate Snapcount readiness, we could eliminate a number of their capabilities using our own strike aircraft and Eagle III NPB platforms," explained General Kidd as he paused to take a drink of water, "Then of course, we would strike back at them with the Trinity, concerning of course the Federban Clause of the Aequatian War Charter."

'Yes... yes, I'm well aware of the Charter, and I am prepared to enact it should the moment to do so arise, but I would really rather not be placed in that position," Said Moltke as he gazed out towards the capital, "Lord help us, only Premier Bomfy had the strength of character to enact that part of the charter and send millions to a most painful death, but what has to be done must be done. Miss Ghoddard, prepare a statement!"

Official Statement from the Office of the President of the United Socialist Republic of Aequatio

With the recent threat placed upon our great nation by the most imperialist and evil Reich of Tocrowkia, I have called upon the Aequatian Republic Joint Mlitary Forces to be fully prepared to enact the Federban Clause of the Aequatian War Charter which states that any attack on the Republic will result in the total exterminatus of the aggressor nation by any and all means available. However, I will state now that the Aequatian Republic, although prepared, will not be the first nation to deploy its thermonuclear arsenal in anger within this conflict. We will only act in retaliation after the threat to the Republic has been successfully halted by our own countermeasures perfected by conflicts of the past.

We are not threatened by that which lies before us, as we have seen the maws of death and hell already and have pressed through to eliminate our enemies. This is not the first time the Aequatians have faced destruction and pulled through, and it most certainly will not be the last.
