Hans sat in his Panzer Kamphwagon, trying to escape the unforgiving Africa sun. He opened the commander's hatch and peered into the endless desert.He brainstormed ways he could be stationed in a more modderate climate.Hans was interrupted when his gunner saw english jeeps appear on the horizon.
He spoke casualy into his microphone,"first kill of the day."His crew was fresh out boot camp and had not seen combat. He slapped the hull of his Panzer. It roared to life.Hans looked through his binoculars and saw the jeeps were heading for ruins on the eastern horizon. He told his driver to haed south and hook around on the the shanty town's south. He mentally studied the beer he and his crew would recieve after they repell the attack.
His tank approached the british positions and ordersed his crew to fire. He studied the postion as the shell exploded on a wall neer the jeed motorcade. He cursed at his crew lack of innability to ambush succesfully. He peered through his binoculars and saw the Brits were assemblig a captured Panzerfaust. Hans barely closed the commanders hatch when an elplosive shell expoded on the front armor.
A plume of black smoke began to build inside the metal hulk. Hans' lungs heaved for air but were welcomed with black smoke.It smelled like burnt flesh.
He opend the hatch and blacked out on top of his Panzer. He came to minutes later when he herd English voices speaking.
"Great shooting Mcdonald!"
Hans grimaced at the thought of being captured.He opened his eyes but they were blinded by the blast.
He continued listening to the voices.
"aw it was nothin' Sir"
"we are going back to camp and drink in your name!
There were more shouts of glee as Hans reached for his Steilhandgrenade and primed it. he stood and through the genade. he herd suprised screams as the grenade exploded. Hans was blown back to the hull when the english returned fire. The last thing Hans herd was his wife's voice in his ear.
